At Least He Is Not In Jail

[Blind Gossip] This TV couple went through an especially complicated divorce.

The reason it was so complicated is that it wasn’t about just one thing. There were  layers of problems.

The husband didn’t just cheat. He had a drinking problem. He had weapons and was threatening to use them.

While the wife would have loved to have just walked away, she could not.

Why not?

Because the couple shared children and a business and a TV show.

His problems were her problems. She couldn’t just flip out and stay away from him.

Both of them eventually moved on, but she was still worried about his involvement with very young women.

They usually managed to be around college age, but he wasn’t checking IDs. He was very reckless. He was drinking a lot and he would do two girls at a time.

What a great guy.

[Ex-Wife] always worried that he would wind up arrested for drinking or getting caught with a minor or that he would get one (or more) of them pregnant.

The good news is that his new girlfriend is more age-appropriate.

[Ex-Wife] doesn’t love [New Girlfriend]… but at least [Ex-Husband] is less likely to end up in jail!

    Tarik El-Moussa and Christina Anstead from Flip or Flop. She seems to have done well after the split and all the negative press about him came not from her mouth but his unstable and dangerous behaviors. I feel for her if she was dealing with this stuff behind the scenes…perhaps that’s the real reason they split. If so she did the right thing for their children’s safety.

    He always seemed like a control freak on their show. She has moved on and isn’t looking back. Their were some shows where they must have been divorcing or divorced where the tension in HIM could not be ignored.

    We would have to meet his parents to know why he is the way he is. I’m glad she escaped that. I wish her much happiness in her new life!

    He blamed stereroid use in the past so he likely has self esteem issues ORRR he’s a super narcissist…

    [Optional] Why do you think the Ex-Husband behaves this way?–Frustration. Too much fame/money too quickly. Plus, I think they were both control freaks. Don’t watch either one anymore. They’re too much drama and *. That Kristina always acted like she was some great designer..ahhh..no.

    First thought was Teresa from RHNJ but I think this is more Shannon Beador from the OC. Her ex husband was a slime ball and recently got engaged.

    Tarek is short and has a Napoleon complex–he goes for young girls because he’s immature needs someone who will stoke his ego.

    He probably felt after his cancer didn’t kill him that he’d “enjoy” life more?

    No idea but really surprised people act the way they do sometimes.

    The Flip or Flop exes, Tarek & Christina. The beginning of the behavior has already been outlined in this thread, but since the divorce she’s moved on quite successfully; new show, new husband and a new baby. Him, not so much. Maybe he feels she wouldn’t be where she is now if it wasn’t for him and it pisses him off so he acts out. Just a thought.

    flip n’flop…. Christina on the Coast and Tarek ….. Happy she has found love again with Ant from the UK and they had a sweet baby boy. Tarek had 2 cancer battles and he needs therapy big time. I hope this new chic helps him out……

    I think the husband had a ton of health issues and he went off the deep end when Christina left him.

      I think you can almost see his pain when they’re on the show. it has gotten better, but it was pretty obvious for a while. He seems reckless with money too. He bought his new girlfriend a super expensive car for her bday just 3 months after they started dating. Used to, I couldn’t stand either of them, but I actually like her now. Love her new husband!

    Yeah, I always thought there was more involved with that gun he pulled. And more involved than it. So I was right. No wonder Christina completely freaked and separated from him immediately. Kept it quiet for the audience so their show, Flip or Flop would survive.

    This is that Flip-Or-Flop couple that divorced last, Christine and Tazik, or however it’s spelled. 🙄

    Guess his ego couldn’t handle the rejection from the divorce, or the personal responsibility for his contributions to the divorce.
