[Blind Gossip] This TV guy is from a famous family and is a chronic attention seeker.

His take on politics and his conversations with one of his siblings have landed him in the news a lot lately.

While he has been trying to come across a likeable and relatable person, we’re going to tell you a short story about him that will show you that he is exactly the opposite.

He was at a swanky party in The Hamptons last summer.

He met another guest at the party and the two of them started talking about their children.

The Guest, who is the mother of a special needs child, suggested that TV Guy do some sort of special segment on his show about children with special needs.

TV Guy seemed receptive to the idea. They exchanged email addresses.

A week or two later, Guest emailed TV Guy to follow up on her suggestion.

She received a response. Just not the one she was expecting.

You see, TV Guy had forwarded her email to someone else with his comments… but had accidentally copied Guest on the email. Whoops!

TV Guy’s comments were completely inappropriate, but Guest decided not to respond. She is just a regular person and she didn’t want to go to the mattresses with such a nasty individual.

So, what was so inappropriate?

His email said:

Check this out. This hag thinks I should do a piece on her retarded kid.

Yes, he called her a hag.

Yes, he called her child retarded.

This… is what TV Guy is really like.

As you now know, Chris Cuomo, the anchor of CNN’s news show Cuomo Prime Time, has just been FIRED!

The firing was the result of a number of factors, including inappropriate communication with his brother as well as inappropriate behavior with female CNN staffers.

Chris Cuomo’s “comedy” act with his brother, former New York governor Andrew Cuomo gained a lot of attention in the early days of the pandemic.

While New York Governor Andrew Cuomo was sending thousands of nursing home patients to their demise, he and Chris tried to make light of tragedy:

However, when Chris started using his contacts to try to aid Andrew in dodging sexual misconduct claims by multiple staffers in the Governor’s office, Chris crossed a journalistic line.

Chris Cuomo: CNN fires presenter over help he gave politician brother

US anchor Chris Cuomo has been fired by CNN for help he gave his brother, ex-New York governor Andrew Cuomo, while he was battling harassment allegations.

The decision came after CNN said additional information had emerged over the extent of Chris Cuomo’s involvement in his older brother’s defence.

Basically, the whole time that Chris Cuomo was publicly swearing that he was not helping his brother, he was privately helping him using his journalistic resources.

Andrew Cuomo resigned in August after prosecutors said he had harassed staff.

Chris Cuomo, 51, said in a statement that he was disappointed and it was “not how I want my time at CNN to end..

He had worked for the network since 2013 and became one of its most recognisable news presenters, most recently leading CNN’s coverage of the 2020 US presidential election.

A CNN statement said that a “respected law firm” had been hired to investigate Chris Cuomo’s efforts to help his politician brother fight allegations of sexual harassment. But while that review was happening, “new information has come to light” leading to the network terminating his contract, “effective immediately”.

Chris Cuomo had already been suspended by CNN on Tuesday after the extent of his behind-the-scenes efforts to help with the scandal were revealed.

At that time, the network said that while it “appreciated the unique position [Chris Cuomo] was in and understood his need to put family first and job second”, the advice he offered to his brother was a breach of journalistic ethics.

Documents released by New York Attorney General Letitia James on Monday showed that the younger Cuomo continuously pressed the governor’s staff to let him play a larger role in his brother’s defence.

“You need to trust me,” he texted Melissa DeRosa, his brother’s secretary, in March, adding: “We are making mistakes we can’t afford.”

He also pledged to contact other US media outlets to try and learn of other allegations that were forthcoming.

The irony here is that at the same time Chris Cuomo was trying to help his brother avoid prosecution for sexual misconduct… Chris Cuomo was facing charges of his own of sexual misconduct!

Cuomo’s termination Saturday ended a long embarrassing chapter at CNN, where network President Jeff Zucker and his team went to great lengths to retain one of the network’s most popular anchors in the face of mounting problems that damaged the organization’s reputation.

Even with Jeff Zucker on your side, sometimes you can’t be protected from your own bad behavior.

Cuomo’s situation took a turn for the worse on Wednesday when attorney Debra Katz informed CNN that she represented a former ABC News colleague of Cuomo’s who accused him of sexual misconduct. Cuomo worked at ABC News from 2000 until he moved to CNN in 2013.

In a statement to the Los Angeles Times, Katz said by Friday she was “in discussions with CNN about providing documentary evidence of my client’s allegations and making my client available for an interview with CNN’s outside counsel.”

 Katz is not identifying her client, who was an underling to Cuomo during his tenure at ABC News. She would not reveal the details of the allegations beyond describing them as “serious sexual misconduct.”

Katz said the woman decided to come forward after hearing details of the attorney general’s report and Chris Cuomo’s on-air proclamations that he “cared very deeply” about the issue of sexual harassment.

So while Chris Cuomo was claiming that he “cared very deeply”about the issue of sexual harassment, he was trying to help his brother escape sexual misconduct charges by providing information to smear one of his female accusers.

“Wedding Girl” was a woman who Andrew Cuomo had tried to kiss at a wedding. Chris Cuomo said:

“I have a lead on wedding girl.”

This hypocrisy resulted in him infuriating a woman who had actually suffered sexual harassment… at the hands of Chris Cuomo himself!

“The attorney general released jaw-dropping documentary evidence demonstrating that Chris Cuomo played an active role in attempting to smear women whom the attorney general concluded had made serious allegations of sexual harassment and sexual misconduct against the governor,” Katz said. “Hearing the hypocrisy of Chris Cuomo’s on-air words and disgusted by his efforts to try to discredit these women, my client retained counsel to report his serious sexual misconduct against her to CNN.”

Chris Cuomo is an awful person.

The blind item we presented to you is just one more example of how horrible he is.

While Chris Cuomo was pretending to that party guest in The Hamptons how much he cared about her autistic child, behind her back he was calling her a “hag” and her child “retarded.”

Yes, the woman still has the email that he accidentally sent to her. However, she is a private person and does not want to go public with it.

So, unlike that recent episode of Succession where Roman Roy accidentally sends a d*ck pic to Logan Roy, there will probably be no further repercussions from that act of stupidity.

However, like the TV series Succession, this double fall of the Cuomo brothers demonstrates that family dynasties are not all they are cracked up to be.

“Go to the mattresses” = Chris Cuomo’s unofficial nickname is Fredo. Fredo was the buffoonish brother from The Godfather. “Go to the mattresses” is a famous expression used in The Godfather that means “to go to war.”

“This…” = “This… is CNN” is the CNN slogan.

“…permanently banished to the basement” = Chris Cuomo made a big deal of self-quarantining in his basement after he contracted Covid. He then filmed himself “emerging” from the basement after his quarantine was over.

What a phony! It turns out that during the time that he was supposed to be in quarantine, Chris Cuomo was actually out and about.

In fact, during one of those outings in the Hamptons, Chris Cuomo had a run in with a bicyclist who recognized him, asked him why he was out of his house, why he wasn’t actually in quarantine when he had just tested positive and why he wasn’t wearing a mask.

Cuomo got aggressive with the bicyclist and yelled at him. The bicyclist filed a police report about the incident.

Yes, in addition to being a liar, a hypocrite and a harasser of women, Chris Cuomo is also a phony and an aggro jerk. The “emergence” from the basement was fake but his getting nasty with the bicyclist was real.

The US Unemployment Rate now stands at 4.2%.

The Cuomo Brothers Unemployment Rate now stands at 100%.

Good riddance to both of them.

    Obviously this is Chris Cuomo. I’m so disappointed and frustrated the woman won’t publish the email in all media outlets. That’s probably one of the reasons he acts the way he does – he hasn’t been held accountable his entire life – such arrogance! Yet another entitled elitist – shame on him.     Man, I am disappointed. I thought he was better than that. And his brother did a good job in NY, I think, so that kind of fed on the belief that Chris was a good guy. So to hear this is shocking. Hating on kids and the disabled is nasty. Yeah, back to the basement, Chris!

      I thought Andrew Cuomo was OK until I read an old Vanity Fair article about his marriage to one of the RFK kids. The article was about how he and Chris ran in front of the cameras to talk after one of the siblings was killed in a skiing accident. Just a total attention *.

    Clearly Chris Cuomo, who was recently banished to the basement while he had the Coronavirus, and has been doing interviews with his brother the governor of NY during the pandemic.

    Dissappointing., to say the least I’ve always liked the way he comes across on air. Then again, there was a time I really enjoyed watching Matt Lauer, too.

    I have a few friends with Downs babies, and had a cousin with MS. Seems Chris needs a forehead tattoo: “*!”

      Yes agree and so sad. Been hearing really negative rumblings about him and I had such a huge crush. He was/is part Italian New Yorker/part highly educated and poised but the whiny divisive thug is showing himself more all the time. So sad. I guess if Andrew disses the entire Kennedy Clan (ala his ex and the very public book and articles) who are political royalty whose sons were sacrificial lambs for their progressive politics and voices he is playing with fire. So disappointed!
