The actor made a video appearance on The One Show last week. (The One Show is a BBC program featuring topical stories and celebrity guests.)

Bonneville was almost unrecognizable after losing weight and cutting his hair!

    Geez. I read somewhere that either a new season or a movie is being written for Downton. Hugh could really play his character as dying now.

    2. WAS born in London, like Adele,
    3. Most famous TV role: Robert Crawley, Earl of Grantham on Downton Abbey.
    4. Caught cheating on his partner, not that long ago, which ties in with: ” … cheating would be a good way to solve this one.”

    I don’t miss DA as I never watched it. Shows with stiff upperclass English accents immediatel tun me off.

    Okay, going with the clue “not Hugh Grant,” so perhaps a different English Hugh? As in:

    Hugh Laurie?

    He was born around 51 miles from London, Adele’s birthplace, so it’s relatively close. And his most famous role was of Dr. House. I never watched it but would if I had the chance today! A quality, well written program vs. the worst drek in “reality” tv?? Oh, no choice! BRING BACK HOUSE!!!!

    That’s Hugh Bonneville. This weight loss will take some getting used to for his fans I think. He was already good looking–when he was heavier–and in this picture at least he doesn’t look like the Hugh we love.

    Before I read the Adele clue, I was going to say he looks British and cute. Once again I am always wrong with these but the hairline looks like Jude Law and the “solve, suspense” clues suggest Sherlock Holmes but I’m at a loss for his famous tv role. And the nose doesn’t look like his…can I just say it’s Meghan Markle really trying to get some attention?
