[Blind Gossip] Many people would love to receive fitness-related gifts for Christmas or Hanukkah.
They want gifts that will help them actively improve their health, like a FitBit activity tracker, some wireless headphones for the gym, a ClassPass gift card, a great pair or running shoes, a gym membership, or a Peloton bike.
Ha. Just kidding about that last one.
You can’t blame The Peloton Girl for being scared when her spin class is led by Dwight Schrute.
Anyway, the items listed above are gifts for people who are looking to be more physically active.
Hey, if it takes a piece of equipment or a structured class to get you moving, go for it.
Not this singer!
His health has been shaky, so he went to the doctor several months ago.
The doctor told him to do stuff like go to the gym several time a week and go for hikes and eat more protein and vegetables and get plenty of sleep.
He’s also supposed to be taking his meds and going for talk therapy.
That sounds like sensible, standard health advice.
So of course he’s not doing that.
Instead of taking an active approach to health, he appears to be taking a passive approach that involve a lot of gimmicks.
For the past couple of months, he decided he wanted to try other things instead. He’s doing cupping and acupuncture and vitamin drips. He’s also doing these Chinese herbs. I don’t know what kind.
Actually, some of these things sound like Traditional Chinese Medicine remedies. Perhaps he’s given up on Western medicine?
In that case, no Peloton bike for you, Singer!
Whatever is happening, we hope that he gets his qi in order soon.
