POTUS Potential Goes From No To Maybe

July 8, 2019 Blind Gossip

[Blind Gossip] With more than twenty candidates in the Democratic primary vying to be President of The United States, the talk has now turned to who will be exiting the crowded field.

We actually have something a bit more interesting for you.

It’s about who may be entering the race!

Yes, Richie Rich hedge fund guy Tom Steyer is making noise about jumping in and emphasizing “impeachment” as his primary issue.

However, that’s not who we are talking about.

There is a female potential candidate who is considering entering the race!

She kept saying, “No, no, no.” Now she is saying, “Maybe.” She has been quietly talking about the logistics of the timing and fund-raising. This started happening after the debates, so it’s very recent.

Yes, you know her name. This could be interesting!

lt has to be Oprah because she kept saying she was not going to run for President

Stacy Abrams as the early no now maybe yes?

My vote is going to Elizabeth Warren. She’s been a thorn in the side of unscrupulous banks for years, has the education and intelligence to improve our rusty old version of capitalism and has many brilliant policy plans both economic and social. For VP I’d love Castro.

This would be Oprah, as the word “talk” is emphasized in the blind twice.

I like Kamala Harris–she’s super smart and her policies align with my principles, one of which is that abortion is a social good.

I don’t know a single person opposed to a woman’s right to reproductive freedom and control over her own body who has adopted an unwanted child. Adopt or keep your opinion to yourself.

I will vote for whomever is the Democratic candidate. Trump is a national nightmare.

Oh boy I hope this is Hillary! I would love to see Trump rip her a new one (again) It would be like a sequel to a great movie that just gets better and better.

I’m very happy with the Trumpster as POTUS. He’s getting all the things done that I want, so another term is a slam dunk. That wall will go up, the baby killers will no longer be able to murder innocents and we’ll get another SCOTUS pick when RBG kicks off. Awesome!

I’m very interested to see the campaign if Oprah runs. She has no background as a politician like Trump in ’16, and the Democrats always used that as a reason to not vote for him. How will the spin go for O?

This could be Michelle Obama as she hedged on supporting Barrack’s “best friend” Joe Biden. The nominee will be someone very progressive and they will be steamrollered by Trump. What a motley crew those Democratic candidates are!

I wouldn’t going into shock if this was Hillary. To this day she blames everyone but herself and her weak platform for her loss. Then there was fiddling with the ballots, removal of people from registration, sabotaging Bernie Sanders, getting the debate questions in advance! With all that she still lost the election.

I hope this isn’t who you mean, the leaks revealed that even members of the DNC knew she was a weak candidate. I do not think she can beat Trump and neither do many…

Oh Mein Gott, NOT Hillary Clinton???!!!??? I don’t know whether to laugh – or cry! And Tom Styer is just as bad. His ONLY issue is his [email protected] of Trump and his call to impeach Trump.

Optional: My preference would be someone moderate/middle of the road, so if that person won, they wouldn’t turn our country inside out.

However, I changed my political affiliation to make sure I vote in the primaries this cycle. WE need to have a consolidated effort behind one candidate so the office of POTUS is… quieter, so to speak.

  77. Ivy Drip says

Hillary Clinton. She won the last presidential election by 3 Million votes & if it weren’t for the outdated electoral college system, would be president today.

    • MinnieMe says

      July 9, 2019 at 2:41 pm

Ha, ha, you so funny. The Electoral College keeps California and NY from deciding who is the President. Every vote counts.

    • amagod121 says

      July 9, 2019 at 3:04 pm

Consider this: if the electoral college system were abolished, then the popular vote from the same few large states and/or cities would always determine who becomes the President. So why on earth would all of the other states who disagree with the popular vote always ruling the Presidential election decide to stay as part and partner with those large states or cities determining who leads the country?

    • amagod121 says

      July 9, 2019 at 3:09 pm

We are called the UNITED States for a reason. If we work against one side of the aisle because we always want our side to win, then we are no longer the UNITED States of America and everyone loses. And be certain that if that unconstitutional change is ever forced through, then almost 50% (or even more) of the people of the US would secede.

    • Jumerandy says

      July 9, 2019 at 5:24 pm

What’s outdated about it? Trump won more states. He lost the East and West coasts. Founding fathers realized you can’t have just large population centers deciding the outcome. Move on. Hilary lost.

    • reen57 says

Hillary is done. She gave it her best shot and won the popular vote. She knows she’s unelectable as president. I think she would rather control behind the scenes than be in front of the audience. Her biggest liability other than the insane and rabid hatred of Republicans, is Bill.
I think Michelle Obama is thinking about it, but she should get some experience first. Not that she doesn’t understand politics from a front row seat. Oprah running would not be good for her massive ego.

Oprah or Michelle i guess – maybe Hillary again (yikes)

Literally every nominee is an insane, radicalized socialist who cheers for abortion like its some glorious right of passage. Andrew Yang is the most reasonable of the clown pack which means the DNC will screw him over. None of these people stand a chance against President Trump. As of right now i think Kamala is the DNC’s chosen one

    • butwhatever says

      July 10, 2019 at 3:49 am

For me, Andrew Yang’s plan to give everyone $1000 every month is the most insanely socialist plan of this election cycle, or any other for that matter.

I hope the potential candidate is Oprah, so that everyone can see what a bad idea it is and we can winnow her back out of the field ASAP, and frankly the same goes for Tom Steyer and maybe even Michelle Obama. President isn’t an entry-level position.
