Please Stop Talking About This Movie

[Blind Gossip] Not every movie made by even the best actor can be a success, but the attempts to cover up the stinkers are sometimes interesting!

[His next movie] is still in post, and the promos weren’t supposed to start for another month, but the box office on [the current movie] is so godawful that they needed to stop everybody from talking about it. So they are going early on [the next movie].

The two movies are not related. They just star the same actor. Speeding up the promos for his next movie – which will definitely be a box-office success – will distract people from the current flop and help keep his asking price high.

So please stop talking about his current movie!

    I’ve actually been a huge fan of his since I was a teenager, and I still adore him. I love so many of his movies, but I think Constantine is one of his best, along with the original John Wick.

    His movie “Replicas” has only made 3 million domestically and was destroyed by the critics.

    “John Wick 3 – Parabellum” is in post but they released a poster recently.

    Holmes and Watson is reportedly the worse movie of the year and one of the worse stinkers of all time. Like Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen… Ferrell needs to just stop making asinine flicks 🙄

    Keanu Reeves in Replicas now with John Wick 3 coming out soon. He’s in so many movies I don’t think it will hurt him. The guy works nonstop. My wish for him is to slow down a little and find love again unless he already has. I have a soft spot for him and know he’s very private. I don’t really have a favorite movie of his, but I’ve liked quite a few including Speed, Point Break and The Matrix.

    If you Google Keanu Reeves, you’re hard pressed to find ANY mention of Replicas, lol. It’s all John Wick this, John Wick that. Which I’m completely fine with, because I LOVE the first two so much. Looking forward!
    Favorite movie: Constantine (hoped for a trilogy), the Bill and Teds are fun, and the John Wicks.

    I originally thought it might be Steve Carrell for Welcome to Marwen (which looked so strange and no one I know has seen it) but he doesn’t have a smash hit movie coming up, just a new TV series called Space Force.

      No way, Glass just came out and is already doing really well at the box office, and McAvoy’s portrayal of his character(s) is flawless.

    Triple Frontier – due out in March; has been cursed with every sort of setback for three years; he stepped in with money and acted in it right in the middle of his addictions meltdown, divorce, girlfriend and Playboy Bunny. Even his back tattoo is embarrassed.

    Torrance – his big ‘heartstrings’ number, funded by him again, a huge nod to his own messed up life and it’ll pull in the box office numbers because of its voyeuristic angle.

      ‘speeding up’ – points to KR. But I get a sense he doesn’t give a * if films do well or not….is he bothered? And it is the obvious answer, too obvious though?

      Replicas budget was $30 million quid. Plus $15 miilion for both advertising and buy out.

      So not a lot of money in relative terms for a movie. Plus the movie was ready in 2016. Should’ve gone sraight to Netflix.

      So I think we need to look somewhere else – but no one else fits at this moment so KR it is or is it Oscar…
