When she first got a tattoo, he thought it was dope. Now that she’s gotten more, he thinks it’s stupid. He told her that her newest tatts look like she scratched herself during a psychotic episode!

She is filming a new TV series, so it’s interesting timing for her to be getting some new ink.

Will her husband’s opinion matter to her or incentivize her to get the tattoos removed?

“When I founded Honest 7-and-a-half years ago, nobody was talking about clean, nobody was talking about safe ingredients, no one was even questioning the impact of ingredients or products on your overall health,” Alba tells Refinery29. “I’ve always had a passion for clean beauty because I have terrible allergies. I have very sensitive skin, so I was always looking out for cleaner products. I didn’t want to sneeze or have a rash.”

Speaking of Alba’s kids, she recently got three tattoos in their honor: each of their zodiac signs’ constellations, inked across her left arm. They’re her favorite of her tattoos thus far, but almost by default. “I do have a few tattoos, and I regret one of them… maybe two,” Alba says. One of them is what she calls “kind of a tramp stamp,” a bow on the middle of her lower back; then there are the flowers she got right in the middle of her neck, which she regrets to this day. “I got it when I was, like, 17 and I’m so irritated that I got it,” she says. “I got it lasered many times and it’s not coming out.”

Needless to say, her latest ink carries a lot more sentiment than the rest. “I really wanted to think about what would be meaningful over time, because when you get something when you’re 17 and now you’re 38, you’re like, Hmm, don’t know if that’s too meaningful,” Alba says. “But for that one, the kids are forever.”

In the article that she doesn’t even mention her husband or what he thinks of her tattoos. That’s because he doesn’t like any of them! Note that she didn’t get his zodiac sign tattooed on her arm.

Anyway, Alba talks about how very concerned she is about non-toxic products, sensitive skin, clean beauty, and protecting her kid’s skin from the sun… and is getting some old tattoos painfully lasered off… and then goes out and gets a new set of ugly tattoos that involves needles and pain and injecting foreign substances under her skin.

Nope, no hypocrisy there!

Maybe she should get together with Leonardo DiCaprio so they can talk about how global warming is bad. While flying around on a private jet.

    Geez – Jessica Alba’s tattoos really do look like stitches after a psychotic episode. Are they supposed to be those “invisible” by day/ glow up in the dark tatts? Can she get her money back?

    A tattoo is a permanent reminder that one day you did something stupid. They look and are ridiculous. Just wait until the skin starts to sag. Imagine being in a nursing home with all that sagging ink? Gross! And just because you CAN get a tattoo is not a reason to do so!
    If the tattoo denotes military service then I can see them on some men, but most look awful. And there is nothing worse than a bride showing off her ink in a wedding dress-uncouth to the max.

    Yes…it’s stupid. I’m in my 40’s and so regret my tats I got in my 20’s…it’s like choosing one shirt to wear for the rest of your life. Tastes change, it is part of nature.

She’s currently filming a new TV series (“L.A.’s Finest”) and just showed off three new tattoos (constellations representing the zodiac signs for her three kids). I like tattoos – these do look a bit like she scratched herself though! I can see what he’s saying.

    I think it’s fine to get tattoos that are easy to cover for movie/tv roles. Although Jessica’s new tattoos are not nice, I was shocked when I saw them!

    It’s their body…she’s also not a “young female star” in my opinion. The tattoos do look slightly ridiculous if only because of the location she chose and the color.

    I’m the child of a Naval Academy graduate & his debutante wife. They don’t DO tatoos so I was raised with ‘crude, rude and tattooed’ as the motto. I’ve never gotten one.
    Honestly, I get that times change and how liberals have taken the liberal in ‘Libertarian’ to the nth degree to total ‘free expression’ but some things can be taken too far.
    I’m not against small, tastefully done body art – but getting them all over is a sign of something going on mentally – esp. on the…

    I’m not sure who this is, but if your career is acting then it might not be a great idea to get a buttload of ink. Unless you’re Angelina Jolie, who producers will climb over each other to cast, then you may find yourself being passed over.

      Yeah her tattoos are stupid looking and amateur hour. That one on her tail bone with the bow is like ridiculous and makes her look like she has a bow over her ass. Dumb dumb, but then to be honest (yes pun intended) I don’t think she is too bright, just pretty.

      I personally think tattoos- on anyone- are ugly and no artist can fix that. Why we complain about older women getting makes no sense. Get ’em young, get ’em old, you still have them when youre old and theyre always ugly. if you want them, that’s your business.
