[Blind Gossip] Yes, she was invited to the big celebrity wedding.

She had known Bride for decades and was excited about being part of her special day.

Then she started getting uneasy about the event.

I don’t know if I would call her paranoid but she has gotten really suspicious about people’s motives. She can’t even trust her own family anymore.

What changed her mind about the wedding?

The ask changed.

She thought she was going to be a regular wedding guest and just have a good time and cut loose.

What she didn’t expect was to be asked to sign a release and get filmed. Plus she didn’t want her first musical performance in a while to be for someone else’s benefit.

She wants total control over her image now and she wasn’t sure if she was getting used by [Bride] for publicity so she just decided to make an excuse and avoid it.

Our Singer is not as innocent as she used to be. She is standing up for herself and saying “No.”

It’s great that she feels free to do that now!

It will be interesting to see if the Bride whose wedding she skipped attends Our Singer’s own wedding when the time comes.

    Idt Paris was using her, she’s got her own money and she married a guy that has his own too (but not too much, like her sister Nikki’s guy) and he seems very in love with her. It would have been some positive publicity for Brittany, but as we can see from Brittany’s fiancée, she doesn’t make the best choices. He’s very much using her, and she’s blind too it. I don’t think Paris will be at Brittany’s wedding, if there is one.

      Britney Spears and ?? I was going to say Meghan Markle as the bride in question but the consensus is Paris Hilton, so I’ll go with her as the wedding was very recent, whereas MM’s was a few years ago.

      Yes, I think that Paris was trying to use Britney and good for Britney for putting her foot down. Filming it for personal use alone is one thing but filming it for fame or profit is gross. Same old Paris.

      I doubt that Britney will ask Paris to her wedding due to this.

      Justcurious, Britney may feel differently now, especially if she reads this and sees how special the concert was for your daughter.

      She seems to have a real soft/motherly spot for kids. And perhaps she too will have a daughter and one day bring her to her first concert … It’s a lovely bonding event and I think she would understand how important her concert was in that respect. She helped to bring you & your daughter closer, something she wants with her own sons …

    I guess this is about Britney and Paris Hilton’s wedding. Didn’t know they were friends. Demi ended up performing so I don’t know why Paris couldn’t have just had Brit be a guest.
