Actress and Baldy have been married for just a few years.

Brilliant and Mrs. Brilliant have been married for many years.

We knew that Brill cheated on Mrs. Brill, but that behavior had been going on for a long time. Mrs. Brill is not naive, so the fact that she had stuck by Brill all these years implied that she had resigned herself to a lifetime of tremendous wealth but not-so-tremendous fidelity.

Because the infidelity was not public knowledge, the news that The Brilliants were splitting up probably came as a bit of a surprise to you.

It did not come as a surprise to Actress.

Apparently, Actress had been tipped off by another wealthy person several months before that The Brill’s marriage was in trouble.

[Actress] tried to arrange a meeting.

What kind of meeting?

A meeting about charity.

You see, Brill and Mrs. Brill are prominent philanthropists and involved in many charities.

Actress and Baldy are wannabe philanthropists. They are younger than The Brilliants and have more fame than money, so their version of philanthropy involves jumping from one charitable cause to another to keep themselves in the headlines.

It seems that Actress wanted to arrange a meeting to talk about how she and Baldy could support one of The Brill’s causes.

It didn’t matter that Actress and Baldy had never even mentioned this cause before. Suddenly, this cause was one that Actress really cared about.

The logistics were even more interesting.

[Actress] wanted to meet in person and was willing to jump on a plane if [Brill] himself was going to be at the meeting.

Given that Actress and Baldy had made a rather public point about not traveling to see Baldy’s family, her willingness to fly clearly demonstrates her tremendous commitment to this cause.

The dates that she proposed were dates that [Baldy] might be unable to attend because of other commitments.

So rather than couple meeting couple, this could have been a scenario where Actress met with Brill without either of their spouses present.

Why was Actress so keen to meet Brill?

Was she that devoted to Brill’s cause? Did she want to hand Brill a check in person? Was she hoping that Brill would, in turn, financially support one of her causes?

Or was she trying to wrangle an invitation for her and her husband to play with Brill on his yacht this summer? Did she see Brill as a gateway to other important one percenters?

Or did she think that the soon-to-be-single Brill would meet her in person and be swept away by her beauty, charm, intelligence and passion for the same causes as him?

We hear that Actress did not get that meeting. To stay in Brill’s good graces, though, she did do some high-profile work for the cause.

Of course, Actress had nothing to do with the breakup of Brill’s marriage. We just find it very coincidental that she suddenly took an interest in one of Brill’s causes when she found out that his marriage was in trouble and thought it was important to meet with him in person.

It will be interesting to see if Actress is able to arrange a meeting with Brill at some point in the future.

With or without Baldy.

    The meeting — I always said if Haz loses his title/place in line or the $$ falls thru, she will mail him back to the palace faster than Trevor’s wedding rings. She’s always on the hunt for a wealthier version of the man she has. If Ms. Sanchez hadn’t gotten to Bezos first, my $$ would have been on RMM. In fact Lauren should be worried. Bill should too. For himself! RMM is persuasive!

    No, we absolutely cannot go see hubby’s family in the UK cuz it’s just too daaaaaaangerous, but when more accessible wealth is at issue, then our “fears” don’t apply. (And that would be the, erm, quasi-Royal “we”.)

    If Bill Gates falls for these shenanigans, I may give up on MS and switch to Mac (which I loathe).

      Exactly. Harry’s wife is scouting out a real billionaire. I have read that narcissists tire of relationships in 2-3 years, and start scoping out their next victim. They don’t leave their source of financial support until a better source is already lined up.

      Nah, Baldy is Harry and Actress Meghan. The Brills are the Gates. The ‘marriage’ in trouble scenario would have to be the more recent Gates split. Bezos & wife split a while ago & he moved on. Plus Bezos’ girl is no frumpy old house wife. It would be a goldigger catfight & I think no way would she let MM meet Jeff alone.

    Obviously, MM wants a “Gateway” into a different social/political crowd. I doubt she has any romantic designs, but an association would put her in contact with the .01% world. Her husband won’t get her there. With Melinda sidelined, perhaps she thought a meeting was possible. Interesting that she is confident and, in fact, would prefer to meet Gateway on her own. Her ideas, her passion, her, her. Just like they met Gov. Gavin Newsom, she wants to move in specific circles. She’s audacious!

      Baldy = Harry. Remember how much hair he lost in the back once he got married? To hide it he started making the media blur the bald spot. All one can see now is a blurry ginger tinge on his crown. I guess it worked as so many people are unaware of that big bald spot of his.

    When the Bill and Melinda Gates divorce was announced I wondered if Markle would go after him. She wants to live rich and her desired lifestyle is likely a financial struggle with Harry. I wouldn’t be surprised if she globs on to a mega-rich man and dumps Harry. Bill Gates though?? Ewww. There are more mega-rich men in her sea, I’m sure, but I’m guessin that her reputation is toxic by now and she’ll have trouble attracting one.

      I wondered the same thing, so I went looking for pictures and he’s had a bald patch since before marrying Markle. It has grown larger in size and in a few years he’ll be just like William.

I have readjusted my thoughts on this couple. I think they’re in it for the long haul in terms of their marriage. I feel incredibly sorry for their children. We will read much in the future.
