    I think these powerful men might start out as sweet family-oriented husbands, but their ego gets the best of them. As their star rises, so does their ego. Meanwhile their wives are complaining they left their dirty socks on the bathroom floor again. Gates’ friendship with Epstein is telling, and men are susceptible to a woman’s flattery and admiration. Post-menopausal wives don’t cheat…but their husbands sure do. I’d look for a pretty co-worker who had the time/position to flatter him all day.

    Probably made the decision some time back, and waited until the youngest finished high school. Maybe the past year made each look at their lives and realized if one or both didn’t make a break for it, they would regret it. Life is short, and the past year has driven it home.

    The Gates. It’s just stupid to divorce after than many years. I think it’s all being done so he can have a romance and eventual marriage with the “right” kind of Hollywood actress. Wait and see. Melinda is just not publicity friendly or let’s face it, attractive enough to be a big draw for the kind of publicity and domination Bill and his handlers want to achieve. It will be the friendliest divorce of all time with a budding romance for him in a few months. Gross.

    Well, Bill Gates was a very good friend of Jeffrey Epstein. That may have something to do with this divorce. If it doesn’t, it should.

      I’m with you on this. I’m guessing Melinda unearthed some really disgusting stuff that Bill was interested in and that she couldn’t turn a blind eye to. Remember how Bill became friendly with Epstein AFTER he was convicted of child s ex crimes? Seems really weird that Bill was okay with a guy convicted of molesting underage girls. What exactly did they talk about I wonder.

    Bill and Melinda Gates. Even if not all of their foundation’s ideas work, I still have a lot of respect for the charity they do. I watched a Netflix documentary two years ago that included their love story. Watching the documentary, it seemed like they both just got each other (or at least I thought). Sad that they are divorcing after so many years of marriage. I’m guessing Bill is the one who cheated.

    I truly hope this is a financial divorce, tactical so their kids get more money. They are continuing to work together. Maybe one of them is sick. I doubt either cheated

      Melinda admitted in a 2019 documentary she found Bill making a “marriage pros and cons” list before he proposed, and he asked an ex-girlfriend to sign off on him marrying Belinda before he made the final decision.

      They wouldn’t be the first couple to split after their kids were grown, but traits that exist in us earlier in life can become amplified as we get older. Things that seemed just quirky at first might become alienating and cold after 34 years together.

      Why would you doubt either cheated? Please. Look people cheat after this many years just in general or fall out of love. These folks are worth a FORTUNE & so they are susceptible to all kinds of seduction. Men after her. Women wanting Bill. It was what happened with Jeff. Someone set her sights on him & naturally home had gotten stale. I imagine ANYTHING is possible for reasons in this divorce. Mutual cheating, fraud, etc etc.

    My guess is he cheated with a gold digger- like Bezos did with Lauren Sanchez.

    Like Mackenzie Bezos did, Melinda will probably get a big payday, then find someone better, remarry, and be much happier. Bill Gates will continue to drag along his version of Lauren Sanchez, and never marry her.

    I think he cheated and that’s why she filed. This is going to get nasty I think. Bezos and his ex seem to be quite amicable. They split everything. He always credited her with his success. He even was happy when she re-married.
    I think this one is going to be very ugly. I don’t trust Gates at all. He’s too involved in this Covid mess and now all of the land grabbing? Something stinks.

      LOL, I guess a lot of people have that exact thought since there’s buzz online about that! I forget where I read it, but someone made the suggestion that she wasn’t at that Vax Live event Harry went to because she was busy trying to get to Gates.

      Jeff Bezos isn’t exactly a good-looking man yet there was a woman willing to cheat on her husband with him so there’s that. Gates has a lot of money, and like him and his views or not, he is influential in the world. Regardless of looks, lots of women are very much attracted to both money and power. It’s a tale as old as time.

You never know and with that much money I assume people are throwing themselves at Bill and Melinda all the time and primarily him since he’s a Microsoft founder. It’s sad, though.
