[Blind Gossip] Many years ago, Barbra Streisand created a problem for herself by raising a fuss about something to which nobody else was paying attention.

In 2003, thousands of photographs were taken by the California Coastal Records Project to document erosion across the California coastline.

Among those photos was one of Barbra Streisand’s house from the air.

In this photo, her house is the big one in the middle. Her house is very close to the edge of those eroding cliffs.

Now, nobody even knew that was Barbra Streisand’s house… until she made a fuss about it!

Streisand felt that her privacy had been invaded and demanded that they remove the photo from the project.

Her attempts to have the photo removed became a news story that went viral. People who had never even thought about Barbra Streisand’s house were suddenly consumed with looking at photos of it across multiple news sites!

Thus, The Streisand Effect is when attempts to censor or quash information or images actually causes it to become more widespread.

There is a member of a TV family whose appearance has changed dramatically over the years. Furthermore, she spends a lot of time and energy manipulating current photos of herself to the point where she becomes almost unrecognizable.

This isn’t her, but here is an example of what we are talking about.

This is the kind of photo manipulation that goes way beyond erasing a zit or eliminating a few errant strands of hair.

It’s not just real people doing this. Celebrities do it, too.

Here’s a photo that Madonna just released of herself.

Does anyone think that Madonna actually looks like that?

Back to our TV Girl.

Our TV Girl claims that she hasn’t had plastic surgery and she doesn’t care what people think of her photos because she is comfortable with who she is and what she looks like.

All of that is a lie.

She cares a lot.

A “real” photo of her got out recently. She and her legal team demanded that the photo be removed.

As soon as they did that, we received copies of the photo from several different sources. We suspect that it will quickly spread across the internet.

The weird thing? The photo is nothing controversial. She has her clothes on. It’s a normal photo of a person taken outside. We think she looks fine in it! It’s her real face and body. She looks like an average person.

That’s the problem.

She doesn’t want you to see her as an average person. She needs you to see the airbrushed/photoshopped/manipulated versions of herself that sometimes don’t even look like her!

In the meantime, she will continue to preach to you about loving yourself and accepting your body and being body positive… while she freaks out and her legal team threatens people who have a photo of what she really looks like right now.

Oh, the hypocrisy!

Q: When a Kardashian woman faces controversy, how does she respond?

A: She takes off her clothes!

Let’s start from the beginning.

Khloe Kardashian’s grandmother, MJ, took a photo of Khloe wearing a bikini. You can see the photo here.

Khloe’s assistant posted the photo on social media.

Unlike all of Khloe’s other photos, this photo was not airbrushed and manipulated. Oh, the horror!

So Khloe’s legal team went after everyone who had shared the photo to take it down off the Internet.

A public relations team is allegedly trying to scrub an unedited Khloé Kardashian photo from the internet after it was apparently “accidentally posted” to social media over the weekend.

The photo in question shows Khloé smiling and posing in a bikini by the pool. It’s nothing out of the ordinary for a member of the family, except for the fact that the picture appears to be unfiltered and unedited. 

Now, several people who posted the photo claim that they were asked to take it down under legal threat from the Kardashian family’s PR camp, which released a statement saying that while the image was “beautiful,” it was unauthorized.

“The color edited photo was taken of Khloé during a private family gathering and posted to social media without permission by mistake by an assistant,” Tracy Romulus, chief marketing officer for Kim Kardashian’s KKW Brands, told Page Six. “Khloé looks beautiful but it is within the right of the copyright owner to not want an image not intended to be published taken down.”

Usually, the Kardashians, who are public figures, allow fans to use their Instagram uploads for reposts or edits. But in this case, because the family allegedly didn’t want the photo online, its PR team claimed copyright infringement as a reason to ask people to take it down.

Khloe’s team actually had people’s Twitter accounts shut down over sharing the photo that Khloe’s own assistant had posted on Instagram!

Of course, this extreme action created The Streisand Effect. By trying to ban the photo… Khloe’s team caused the photo to spread even more widely!

Why shut down the photo?

If you think this was really about copyright infringement, think again. This was about maintaining Khloe’s fake image.

There is the way Khloe looks. And then there is the way Khloe wants you to think she looks.

Unfortunately for Khloe, an actual image from that day was discovered.

Whoops.

Then there was a video that Khloe posted last year.

Of course, Khloe Kardashian is not the only person in her family to present an image that departs from reality.

By the way, we would not have even thought of posting those photos of Kim today if Khloe hadn’t made such a fuss about her own unedited bikini pic.

After the unauthorized photo of Khloe caused a stir, Khloe did what Kardashians do.

She took off all of her clothes, posed in front of a mirror, and whined about how hard her life is.

She’s a victim, yo!

Khloe Kardashian says judgment over her body is ‘almost unbearable’

Khloé Kardashian shared with her social media followers “unretouched and unfiltered” videos of her body along with a lengthy note on body positivity after an unauthorized bikini picture was posted online.

In one clip, the 36-year-old reality television star is seen wearing only underwear as she films herself in front of a mirror.

“In truth, the pressure, constant ridicule and judgment my entire life to be perfect and to meet other’s standards of how I should look has been too much to bear,” she wrote.

Please. Khloe Kardashian has tens of millions of dollars in the bank and could step away from social media anytime.

But she won’t.

Greed keeps her going. Khloe’s official registered corporation names are KhloMoney and KhloMoney Productions.

Did you know that the tagline for Miss Airbrushed Khloe’s clothing line is “Representing Body Acceptance”?

We’re not kidding.

This from someone who clearly has such body issues that she has had her own body sculpted by plastic surgery, manipulates every photo of herself into some unrecognizable alter-ego, makes millions of dollars off of it, and then whines about being a victim, all while claiming she is “Representing Body Acceptance.”

What a bizarre, hypocritical person!

Khloe Kardashian doesn’t even accept her own body, and by continuing to behave the way she does, she is part of the problem, not part of the solution.

We don’t know if Khloe is mentally ill, but if she is, perhaps she should get help for her mental health issues from some experts.

    I saw Khloe’s photo. She looks pretty, young, and fresh faced. IMO much prettier and cuter than any make-up and photoshopped pics. Her body is great, just the tiny bikini isn’t doing her (or almost anyone) any favours. Again, just my opinion. But she never stood a chance to develop a halfways healthy sense of self esteem.

    I tend to think it’s not her fault, how can you have self esteem when your own mother tells everybody you need a nose job when you’re just a child.
    That being said I saw the picture and she looks very pretty – her face without makeup is way prettier than in the pictures she posts on her social media.
    There is nothing shameful about her body either. It’s obviously very lippo-ed but it looks good.

    Of course it is Khloe K . I remember on one of those Judge shows where plaintiff who was suing friend said that she is jealous of me because she is plump and I am not . Judge corrected the body shamer & said “I don’t know why you say that , she looks fine to me . “

    Normal? Nope she’s a mess. Always felt like Godzilla around her petite sisters, she’s plastic surgeried herself into some kind of Human Barbie clone. No self esteem, so she has to control all photos of herself no matter how she looks in them & dates guys who cheat on her left & right. I kinda feel bad for her. All that money & never happy.

    This has to be Chloe Kardashian- she was the one sister I could actually tolerate but since she’s totally morphed into a different person with her plastic surgery- her can’t stand any of them!
    It’s so sad that she feel into the plastic surgery wormhole that sucked in her whole family! Wreaks of desperation but live your life! It has zero effect on the masses!

    This is Khloe Kardashian and the “MJ Photo.” She looks better in the photo than she does in the overprocessed ones that she puts out. The hilarious thing is they are claiming that it has been photoshopped. Are they serious?

    Khloe! I followed this from the beginning, she actually looks super cute on the picture (I took some screenshots for later haha)

    Then all the IG accounts started receiving messages from Kardashian lawyers and PR, * was DMing people to take the picture down and now the accounts “can’t legally talk about it” anymore…

    With this family I am not even sure if it was really an “accident” or just another stunt so everyone is writing about it…

    No, her behavior is not normal because she really looks good on the unairbrushed photo. She looks more youthful. I really feel sorry for her because she must have body dismorphia or something like that, probably due to all the remarks she had to go through when she was younger.
    Khloé, if you read me, here’s your chance to outshine your sisters! Go for the more natural look! You look so good!

    This is khloe Kardashian, I’ve seen the original photo and I think she looks great! But she looks a million miles away from the swimsuit photos that she posted the day before… So very heavy use of filters & Photoshop along with flattering posing and light. All unnecessary because she looks fantastic just as she is. Shocking to see how heavily edited everything truly is!

    This is Khloe Kardashian. Part of me feels so bad for her because people have always referred to her as UGLY. I personally do not think she was and I don’t think she needs all that plastic surgery. Just sad.

    As to Madonna, I live in NYC and saw her about 3 years ago getting out of a limo near Broadway. When somebody said “that’s Madonna” I almost didn’t believe them. She looked so old, much older than she is – like someone in their 80s. Her body was in tip top shape, well toned.

    I saw the photo and she looks ok. However, she looks nothing like the “public” persona she and her family trot out daily. How unfortunate that she can’t accept her looks and her body, especially since she’s a role model for her daughter and other impressionable young girls. None of their behavior is normal compared to the rest of us, but it’s totally normal for them. Not sure who they think they’re fooling.

    Thing is, she does look good in the photo. No obvious surgery scars and her face does not resemble King Michael’s. Millions of women would be happy to look like she does in this photo – with or without surgical assistance.

    She must have serious body dysmorphia to get so upset, she ought to go and get professional help, or else her life will be miserable despite her improved looks and all her money.

    Most of the members of that family have body dysmorphia issues. She should get counseling as she could be spending the inordinate time she spends on her looks with her daughter or being more productive in life. She will also accidentally impact her daughter with her behavior and her daughter’s mind will be warped. She also has an opportunity as having been the more realistic sister on TV in the past to own the real picture and turn herself around while being accepted.

    Khloe Kardashian. I saw the photo last night and just saw she’s trying to get it off the internet. She looked fine in it. Maybe not the manipulated airbrushed pics that are normally shared, but it was refreshing to see a normal photo of her. Real bodies and skin aren’t part of the Kardashian-Jenner brand, though. This behavior is normal for them, but to the rest of us an obsession with looking perfect all the time is very unhealthy.

    Khloe? I don’t get it, she was the one that criticized her sisters for being so unnatural and now her pictures look highly enhanced. She should put a comforter over her every time she goes out because she does look average and plump. (Nothing wrong with that, I am like that)

      I feel this way too! It’s by bemusing (and troublesome) to ney that her photo is being widely criticized as average. Plastic surgery and photo tweaking has really skewed our perception so much that this gorgeous woman with a healthy, fit body is–average?
