[Blind Gossip] There is a social media darling who became popular after appearing on a Netflix series.
Because she is young and attractive and has so many followers, she is now considered a social media influencer. Companies looking for publicity naturally seek her out for promotional posts.
One growing fashion brand sent her some photos of their clothing and asked her if she would do a post about them in exchange for several outfits.
She agreed and the fashion company shipped out the clothing.
She tried them on, said that she loved them… and then demanded that they send her tens of thousands of dollars!
She said that because she had X million followers “her team” now thinks that they should pay her for the promotional post and send her more outfits!
The stunned company declined and told her that wasn’t the deal they had made. They asked her to simply send the clothes back.
So what did our young TV Star do?
She kept wearing the clothes… she took photos of herself wearing the clothes… she blocked the fashion company on social media… and she refused to send back the clothes she had already received and worn!
Perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised about her bad attitude. Her parents seem like awful people, too.
The value of the stolen clothes probably isn’t worth filing a lawsuit over.
However, it certainly is difficult to cheer the audacity of an girl who feels entitled to rip off a small business!

One of the 2 lying, scamming, cheating, selfish Giannulli sisters who should both be in a cell next to their pathetic daddy dearest? Bella, is my guess.
churchlady says
As much as I would LOVE for it to be one of them, there’s this qualifier included in the blind: “…who became popular after appearing on a Netflix series.”
Can’t be the Gianulli girls. Neither has worked a day in their useless lives.

Not sure if this is referring to Gabbi Butler or Morgan from Cheer! on Netflix.
I hope it’s not Morgan. I know she’s living the influencer life in Dallas these days, but I root for her after that awful childhood.
I would be surprised though if it’s Gabbi- she’s been a paid influencer/model for some time, sounds like she wouldn’t make the mistake of pissing off a company, but I could see her parents making $$$$ demands.
There is probably nothing the company can do but bad mouth who ever…

Shocking companies allow their hired salespeople/influencers to get the better of them. Singed contracts, these influencers are simply salesmen/women.

They should sue. They’d get a lot of publicity out of it.

The company will have to let it go, but they can keep in mind that what goes around comes around.

Sounds like Millie Bobbie Brown. She thinks way too highly of herself.
MusicMama says
Gabi Butler from “Cheer”. Gabi has been the Queen Bee of cheer for years and has sponsorships/endorsements galore. She is not so naïve (nor is her “team” which is her mom and dad) that she didn’t know that she should get paid. She should have honored her word to the company and done the posts. What’s even more obnoxious is she asked the company to pay for the cost of the returns when she said she would send back the merch! So unprofessional.

Millie Bobby Brown?
I’ve heard of lots of influencers doing this. They don’t care about small businesses. Giving freebies to celebs is always risky. When even cleaners like Mrs Hinch demand thousands per grid post, it’s almost naive to expect free adverts. No way would someone with millions of followers not require a fat fee to advertise. The small business should keep quiet and simply share the pics of their outfit on the star and say “wearing our..” she can’t do anything about…

Sounds like something Meghan Markle would do. I have actually no clue, so called “influencers” have no baring on me.

Nah, definitely something that self described Christian actress/Hallmark channel, Lori Loughlin’s daughter Jade would do.
