Divorce Attorney Chaos

[Blind Gossip] We’ve told you before about this movie star’s divorce strategy.

We told you that she was going to fight against allowing her actor husband to have 50/50 custody of their children.

Still true.

We also told you that she was going to throw up as many roadblocks as possible to stall the divorce.

Still true.

Some of her legal maneuvers are so odd, though, that they even have other attorneys shaking their heads!

To be honest, I was shocked that she fired [Divorce Attorney] a year or so ago. She is probably one of the top two or three attorneys that other attorneys would hire if they were getting a divorce themselves!

Then there was this strange move.

The other attorney she just fired isn’t even a divorce attorney! She is known as “The Cannab*s Lawyer” because her specialty is defending pot growers.

What?!

She also has experience in IP, but that still has nothing to do with divorce or child custody. I don’t know what she was doing handling this case.

IP stands for “Intellectual Property”(e.g. trademarks, copyrights, patents).

We knew our actress was trying to stall any kind of settlement, but it is still hard to make sense of her chaotic hiring and firing of attorneys.

    Ugh. Angelina. She shouldn’t be a mother. She is absolutely the worst person ever. Poor Brad, if he could only have seen the crazy. I mean, the rest of us saw it….

    For someone you claims to care about her kids so much, she sure is doing the dirty on them via this divorce saga. I desperately hope at least one of them turns on her and we see a mommie dearest book…

    This is Angelina Jolie. But she is neither crazy nor on drugs. She is trying to run the clock out on the minor kids turning 18 years old.

    I feel sorry for Brad – because by the time he gets 50/50 custody of the kids – the last kid would have turned 18. Good luck.

    Another delay tactic. She’s seething being stuck in California when she wants to globe trot with the kids. Too bad. Brad will get 50/50 and will refuse to allow his kids to live elsewhere. The Judge needs to reprimand her, stop the delays and assign all legal fees, including Brads and the Ad Litem’s, going forward to Angie. She’s a washed up drug addict. Feel bad for the kids, I hope they see their paternal grandparents this Christmas.

    She wants to delay the divorce because she wants to get Armie’s last penny. And in his crazy mind he realizes that hiding his children in the Caymans Islands he will come back to her!
    In fact she cannot admit that he is bisexual and left her to try to organize her life in order to take on her passion for Timmy.
    I feel so sorry for Armie because of his children … he is an incredible father and he did not deserve to go through all of this.

    JMHO, but I think Angie is bat-* crazy. Her plan is to stall until all the kids age out at 18. Too bad the judge can’t order her to perform and get the show on the road. I also think that no one will know the kind of damage she has inflicted on the kids until much, much later…and one of them writes a tell-all.

    I think she is paranoid and tries to one up these attorneys who clearly know of each others’ reputations. She is probably being talked about in judicial circles.
    Brad will get full custody and she will end up in rehab and a mental health facility.

    She’s an unstable diva, and no one has ever told her anything she hasn’t wanted to hear without facing her wrath. Now that she’s not 100% in control of every aspect of the situation, she’s losing it.

    The strange hiring and firing of attorneys. I think with top custody attorneys things weren’t landing on her side of the net- unreasonable demands. So fired. Even less so with non custody attorneys. Fired.

    I think this will fall in Brad’s favor who held back making public Angie’s own issues for the kid’s sake. Always seemed like revenge due to hurt and humiliation. Maybe the divorce was initiated when an affair became to public. Cotillard?

    Optional: She thinks it will cause further delays by hiring and firing multiple attorneys. She should finalize it. She’s not making herself look good by all this.

    My ex-sister-in-law did this when she divorced my husband’s brother. When her lawyer told her something she didn’t want to hear (like just settle this thing already…..) she would fire the lawyer and get a new one.

    Why is she doing this? Because she probably has narcissistic personality disorder. This won’t end well for her. Her legal fees are probably through the roof.

    [Optional] Why do you think she hired or fired these attorneys? They were probably advising her to do the opposite of what she wanted to do, or hesitated to do what she told them to do. Or she’s trying to stall the divorce so she can maintain custody as long as possible.

    How do you think this will all turn out? This is going to backfire on her. It’s been a few years now and the court will run out of steam.

    Optional: I think she’s stalling and I think that Brad is going to eventually snap and say something about her and how she’s been. It’s only so much that a parent can take.
    Kudos to him for keeping this all private for the sake of the kids. Probably hell for them as it is.

    Its also about pissing him off. She has no intention of getting married again so why not stall and create havoc. Hopefully Brad keeps at it, otherwise he will never have a relationship with his kids if he gives up. Doubt he wants to get married again either. The divorce will happen eventually, I mean, can you put up road blocks forever?

    Obviously miss Angie. What I don’t understand is why the kids can’t decide who they want to be with! All but maybe the twins are old enough to state their preference. She’s being ridiculous.

      Given that she’s had complete custody and control of them for years, they probably would choose her, and that’s not fair to the parent who’s been kept from them.

      As montebell stated, someone having almost exclusive access to the children can brainwash them against the other parent. This happened to my brother. His ex-wife took the kids and moved to the other coast and did her best to poison their two children against him. It worked with their daughter; she would not even come to see him on his deathbed. Fortunately, my nephew would not turn his back on his father and remained close to him and to me. Brad may have a problem on his hands.

    Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. She fired LA’s top divorce attorney Laura Wasser in 2018. Now she fired Priya Sopori, who is the Cannibis industry co-chair at her law firm.

    I would imagine the divorce attorneys felt the case against 50 / 50 shared custody is reasonable. She probably wants to punish Brad so she’ll look for an attorney who will support her unreasonable demands.
    Ultimately it will be shared custody.
    At least one child will write a biography in 20 years.

    I think she fired all those attorneys cause they told her what she was doing wouldn’t work (to keep the kids from Brad 100%) & she didn’t want to hear it.
    I think the judge will eventually give Brad 1/2 custody & Angie will do everything she can to interrupt his time with the kids & make it difficult for him to see them. But hey, he picked her to have kids with, knowing she was nuts. Good luck Brad, you are gonna need it.

      Yes. Her father publicly stated Angie had a mental illness (however inappropriate) when she disappeared for a while and he was trying to find her. She even admitted to a suicide attempt and being hospitalized by her mom when she became dysfunctional. This was less than two years before she adopted her eldest, thru a dodgy baby broker. Cambodia shut their doors to Western adoption after that due to Angie and the others that used that broker.

      Agreed. It’s tempting to feel sorry for Brad, but he went into this relationship (and stayed in it for years) with his eyes open. He also hurt people along the way with the choices he made (Jennifer Aniston, his parents and siblings), all for this relationship. The kids are victims, but he is not.

    This is the craziest soap opera ever. She is just trying to stall the proceedings hoping that either Brad will give up or the insanity will go on until the kids are adults.

    Poor Brad Pitt and Psycho Nut Angie Jolie…I feel sorry for the children…They will be messed up because of Mommy Dearest…The judge should give full custody to Brad…

      And a drug addict as well which is a terrible combination.
      I think she’s delaying because there’s nothing else for her to do. She goes to court, he’s getting at least 50% and maybe more because of her issues.
      She doesn’t have a career anymore so no threat to her there.

    She fired the first one, Laura Wasser, because Laura believed in trying to come to a truce in regards to child custody,no doubt to spare the children as much acrimony and instability as possible.

    Since Priya Sopori, the newly fired attorney, specialized in defending pot growers as well as intellectual properties, I am guessing that Angie disliked Priya’s work regarding slamming Brad on his pot smoking or else disputing Brad’s rights to their wine label.

    I think its just a delaying tactic. She’s going to run thru as many attorneys as possible to delay going to court. She thinks she can put things off long enough for some of the kids to turn 18.

    There is also the possibility that she used this particular Cann@bis lawyer because she’s going to throw something at Brad about his pot use.

    Angelina Jolie. As an attorney, I see all the signs that she is a nightmare client. She had Laura Wasser, a top notch divorce attorney, and they parted ways. Now another attorney has left on the eve of trial. Jolie is clearly refusing good legal advice, and the attorneys are quitting. Judging from the witnesses to be testifying, this trial will expose and bury her. Mental health and drug abuse issues all out on the table.
