Children As Leverage

[Blind Gossip] Despite the fact that this couple split up years ago, they continue to fight over the kids.

Here is the latest battle!

He has a job that does not depend on him being a parent.

On the other hand, her whole persona, existence, and earning potential are contingent on her being perceived as a super mom.

After her television deal was cancelled, she even tried filming the children without the permission of her ex.

He put a stop to that.

She hoped that fees from speaking engagements would help her keep up her lifestyle. However, in the past few months, those opportunities have dried up.

She is almost out of money.

What is her plan?

She needs a new TV show with ALL the kids.

Oh, boy.

She does not currently have custody of all the kids – and her ex will not give her permission to film any of the children – so how does she plan to accomplish this?

There is a small window of opportunity for her to get all the children under her roof. She just has to prove that he is a bad parent.

If she gets all the children, and if he gives her permission to film, she’ll work it out so he can have visitation and a good relationship with all of them.

Gee, how thoughtful of her! She spent the past few years turning the other children against him… but is now willing to do a 180 in order to get a TV show.

    The kids are older now, and no doubt knows the value of money. They probably wouldn’t mind doing the show now sense they will be getting a fat paycheck, and be able to buy the things they want.
    A choice between working at McDonald’s for minimum wages, or being paid a X amount of money for sitting around letting someone film your life. Most 16 to 20 years old would take the job offering them the most money.

    They are such a toxic pair, and the children will ultimately suffer. Also, does anyone even care to watch another show with them? What more could they possibly do that would interest people? They were becoming irrelevant ten years ago.

    Jon and Kate +8 (people are going to say Brad and Angelina, but not them).

    I don’t know. Jon just got into a fight with his son – sone was acting up and Jon lost his temper. Not sure if it will work out.

    Should she get custody? One daughter (drawing a blank on her name) definitely does not want to live with the mom. I also don’t think Kate wants the son in her son – will probably put him outside somewhere.

    It is sad when kids don’t have loving (and instead selfish) parents.

    LOL…..This is SO SO SO obviously Kate Gosselin vs. her ex. I woke up in the middle of the night to find my tv was still on, showing some ‘entertainment’ show – and there Jon was, and the troubled son he was accused of beating up.

    Good for him for getting a real job. Shame on her for using the kids to make money. She used to be a nurse. There’s no reason she can’t get a regular job.

    I tried watching the show years ago and couldn’t finish an episode it because her nagging and passive aggressiveness was nauseating.

    “Keeping up with her lifestyle” made me think of the Kardashians but totally not them because the only one that would need permission from an Ex is Kourtney but nothing fits her

    This is the most evil woman I have ever saw self centered and mean to her husband and kids John got out she should get nothing amd go back to being a nurse, not that I would want her to be mine.

    Thank god Hannah and Collin live with Jon and seem to be happy, loved and well adjusted with him. The other four she has are just pawns for her money making schemes. Mady and Cara are adults now and away at college with their own separate lives now. After Kate sent Collin away to a special needs school for years because he refused to be under her pawn, she should have had child services looking into her parenting big time.

    These kids are being used and manipulated … will have issues for many years. Very sad. I wonder if a third party should not get guardianship… not sure what the best solution is but neither seem willing to put the kids first.

    Kate , At one time she was a nurse. Go back to friggin’ work. Many large families get by…but without the yearly vacations, latest fashion trends, and private schools.

    The first people I thought of are Jon and Kate Gosselin. Jon’s in trouble for physically punishing one of the boys.
    Kate has an RN license, why doesn’t she go back to nursing?

    Optnl: I don’t know the true, full story about what happened in the kids’ lives, but being as she dropped 1 son off at a special needs school, * he was locked up, I think not. And Hannah, too, is old enuff to make up her own mind.

    My fear is that Jon did what his son alleged but he got them to recant by telling them they’d end up living with Kate again. I don’t believe that Colin lied/made it up. The truth will out.

    If the kids want to be with her they can be with her, but Hannah and Colin live with Jon by choice.

    Jon is the one who took off in his meltdown tantrum and tried desperately to worm his way into the famous see and be seen crowd. He would have stayed in that lifestyle had people not seen he was a stage 5 clinger loser. Kate may not be the easiest to deal with but she was trying to be organized for such a large family. He was the big baby that couldn’t keep a job.
