One of them is a famous actress who is best known for starring in a TV drama.

There was a bit of a scandal when Drama Actress directed a particular episode of Comedy Actress’ show.

Everyone is always joking around on the set. [Redacted] made a comment about [Drama Actress’ husband] being gay. She didn’t come out and say, “He’s gay.” It was a joke about a beard, but everyone knew exactly what she meant.

    Issa Rae (Insecure). Kerry Washington is drama actress/director, married to Nnamdi Asomugha, a former football player who a lot of people believe is gay.
    I can think of a lot of reasons a woman might marry (or stay married to) a gay man. They may be really good as partners and co-parents. She may have chosen him more for that role than as a romantic partner. She may also be gay and/or they have an open arrangement. Many marriages are more companionate than passionate. Nobody else’s business.

    Insecure for the show. Kerry Washington (drama actress) was a director for one episode.

    Why did she marry a gay man? For money, power, stability for PR image. Make the public look one way when in reality you are doing something else on the side and since it is not romantic with gay man no feelings of jealousy involved on either side.

    As long as there is more $$ to be made/ opportunities to be had in the closet, the closet will exist. :/

    Comedy actress is Reese Witherspoon. Drama actress is Nicole Kidman. Don’t know why she beards but is probably messed up in her head from being previously married to Tom Cruise. BTW. Oprah & Stedmsn are beards for each other.

    Her husband is gay as an Easter bonnet. I don’t know why people get into these beard relationships. Kerry definitely doesn’t need the money or publicity, she already has plenty, and I think she herself is straight, so who knows why.
