[Blind Gossip] While Billie Eilish cleaned up at The Grammys this year – sweeping all four big awards! – another famous singer completely skipped the ceremony this year.

Given that he wasn’t nominated for anything, it is not shocking or scandalous that he chose not to attend.

However, what was shocking is how the other attendees were talking about him!

[Redacted] said that [Singer] wasn’t at the awards/parties because he was just too depressed to go anywhere but work and home and church and that they were just trying to keep him alive until his next album was released. Somebody from his label told the guy to shut the f*ck up and walked away.

I noticed that he didn’t deny that it was the truth. He just told him to shut up about it!

We’re sure that his team will spin this as him being just too focused on his album to do much else, but it sounds like a pretty sad situation.

We hope that Singer is getting professional help.

And we also hope that 18-year-old Billie Eilish has a strong team around her to guard her from the evils that plague many artists who experience success at such an early age!

    Definitely Justin Bieber. This tour he is about to embark on has a real chance of bombing from low ticket sales as he has been such a jerk the past few years, he let the window close. Yes he has some good collaborations, but I don’t think crap like Yummy will get him anywhere. And when the facade crashes and he realizes his fans are gone, he may nose dive. All the tats are sadly a sign of self mutilation and if he is depressed as many say, I doubt he has the will to have a kid…

    Drug use is a common way of self-medicating mental illness, and the early 20’s is prime age to develop certain ones. Work can be a refuge, but not touring or promotion. He needs to move away from Hwood. He just replaced actual drugs with a spiritual one… he needs to find himself and stop looking for a thing or person to give him purpose in life.

    Justin Bieber. He had too much too fast. I can’t imagine that not causing mental issues in someone. He should take a step back and get help, but I’m sure his people aren’t in it for that. Won’t make them money.

    obviously Biebs. Is it just depression? I know people who managed to defeat this monster and they’re not even 0,0001% as wealthy as him. He seems to be hurry to his 27th birthday in many other ways…

    Not working. Getting mental and physical help away from the paps and his fake * church and all the people who hang onto him for a buck. But that’s not going to happen. The leeches around him will use him until he is totally unusable or dead.

    If I were a multi-millionaire and were in his place, I would check in to a fancy retreat in the Swiss Alps and take an indefinite break from everything.

    Billie Eilish seems pretty grounded and very close to her brother and parents, so she is probably safe-ish from the evils of the music industry.

    Optional: Normally I’d say working could help, but, maybe he’s under such pressure to create a mega-super seller that it might make him feel even worse.

    Depression better served by working or not working?

    Depends on things fueling the depression. If he isnt working, but is in counseling/therapy/Treatment – that might be the best path.

    If getting him out of the house and focused on work or something productive addresses the depression, then I would recommend that.

    Sad story, nonetheless

    That’s heartbreaking. 💔
    As someone who had worked in the mental health field for 20 years I can tell you that mental health is complicated and fragile. Working, not working, won’t matter for some people. The endocrine system is complicated and any small hormone issue can be devastating. Don’t ever feel bad to ask for medication or feel bad that you need to be on medication. It’s not just a matter of keeping busy or excercising for a lot of people. I really hope he gets help.

    Bieber. Part of me feels sorry for him, but mostly I just want to roll my eyes when I hear his name.

    He definitely needs a break. A long one. He also needs intensive professional help, rather than Scooter and his label just trying to “keep him alive” so they can make more money off him.

    if he really has Lyme’s disease, it can cause depression. If he already has depression and the Lyme’s disease makes it worse, well, I hope he has really good help.

    I saw that clip of him slamming the car door to Hailey and it was just awful. I feel like to this day he really is still hung up on Selena. Might be an addition to his woes.

    Bieber. If he’s truly that depressed he needs a team of mental health professionals focused on getting him healthy, not keeping him alive til he can make his label more money.

    Hmm… maybe Justin Bieber? Since he’s been associated with Hillsong church and it seems like he’s fallen on hard times. Also, he experienced an enormous amount of fame at a really young age that messed him up.

    I think he should keep working but maybe change his friends that are a bad influence or something. I know I have dealt with depression in the past and it helped me that I kept myself busy. If not I probably would’ve just gotten worse but maybe that’s just me lol

    Justin Bieber. He really needs therapy, I think. I do believe he has talent, but his latest single (“Yummy”) is, quite frankly, trash. He is so much better and settling for crappy music.

    depend on what cause the depression, if it’s triggered by working he should take vacations and go to therapist.

      ‘Taking vacations’ means he will have several days of sitting in a hotel room taking drugs. He needs less vacations and more focus on getting well.

    Hard to say, he probably enjoys the studio and creating, but overall it seems like he’d do well to step away from all that for a while and learn some basic life skills, go to school in some capacity, go on a retreat, – do something outside of what his norm has been since he got famlous.

I think it would be best served by getting a qualified therapist–STAT–and get rid of all his hangers on. Cut out the drugs and go to Montana or Colorado and just have good old fashioned hard work take care of him.

    He needs to get off drugs + get intense counseling + DO NOT have a child

    I am not sure he should be working in his condition – but I am sure those around him need him working, so they can make money.

      Right? Including his parents. They are just as guilty as his “entourage” . Throw in his in laws and the seemingly parasitic church pastor and the poor guy has no one actually looking out for him.
