When You Need A New Car

[Blind Gossip] Who doesn’t love shopping for a new car?

It’s especially fun when you are young, rich, have an unlimited budget and don’t have to worry about negotiating the price!

This famous young woman bought a gorgeous, brand new luxury car, loaded to the hilt with every possible option. The car cost well over $100,000.

After driving it for a few weeks, something went wrong with the stereo system.

The girl’s mother told her that it was probably something very minor like a loose wire and that the dealer would likely fix it in less than a day.

Our young star did not find that suggestion acceptable!

She started whining that the car was broken and she didn’t want a broken car. 

She insisted that she needed a NEW new car to replace this one.

Yes, she thought that a loose speaker wire required replacing the entire car.

This happened a couple of years ago. However, given her current money issues, we thought you might enjoy hearing about this.

    I will say Sofia Ritchie.
    My dream car would be a 2 door Bentley. I would also like a 2 door hatchback 2006 Tiburon. I really loved that car and my radio and heat stop working 3 days after I got it brand knew. Would like another for nostalgia reasons.

    Perhaps the infamous Kylie Jenner.
    50 years ago, when my husband was a teenager, he had the chance to buy a 1956 Jaguar XK 140 drop head wire wheeled Coupe that was sitting unused in a neighbors barn. He couldn’t earn the $1500 fast enough to buy it. Even now, he thinks wistfully about that car. That is my dream car. I could give it to him for his birthday.

    My dream car is a Trabant P50. They look so happy and cheerful. And they hardly get stuck in snow or sand (as long as it’s not hilly as they’ve got sooo little power :-D)

    A week before my dad dies he bought me a brand new 2000 Mercedes Benz E class 4 door sedan. I would never have afforded a car like that on my own. My ideal car. It had heated seats that was so good for my back as I did hours of driving. I could also adjust a button to get it lower to the ground, a savior in snowy weather, which happens a lot where I live. When it died on me a few years ago, I actually cried. It would cost too much to fix. RIP.

    I’d love to replace my busticated transmission 09 Murano with a purring 1970 convertible Oldsmobile Cutlas 442. That was my dad’s car when I was a baby in a car seat. Too cool.

    I don’t want fast. I want rugged, with character and panache: a 60s Land Rover Series IIA, with the spare on the hood and a rack on top, with winches and gears and tools all over it.

      Kylie who has done nothing to deserve any wealth at all.

      Dream car: pink 57 Tbird convertible for my mom because she had one in high school and the minute her younger brother could drive, my grandfather sold it so the boy could have what he wanted. Girls don’t need cars as much as boys, he said. Needless to say my mom was heartbroken and felt like a disappointment once again because of her gender. So I’d give it to her!

    My dream ride is a ’51 Merc, dropped, chopped, and painted triple black with blood red leather seats….. Dayummmmm

    My dream car? Well, it’s not my ultimate dream car but it will do – my husband gave me a Mustang convertible for Valentine’s Day!

    Forgot to add that I actually knew someone in college who was wealthy and did this – the CD player in their new Porsche wasn’t working properly (it was changing 5 CDs but not 6 like it was supposed to) about two weeks into getting the car, so they got the whole car replaced. Yes, really.

    One with four wheels, gets good gas mileage, comfortable to ride in with enough space in back. Maybe a Toyota Highlander?

    Gotta be Kylie Jenner. She sounds like a whiner for sure but honestly, if I spent that much on a car I’d expect everything, including wiring to be in top shape for more than just a couple weeks after it left the showroom floor!
