The Paranoid Bride

[Blind Gossip] You’ve seen this female celebrity on TV. She is getting married this year. If you worked with her, are related to her, or thought you were friends with her, you might want to hear this!

She sent out a large number of vague emails and texts to friends and family and colleagues saying that she hopes that they are doing well but does not have time to call/write/text because she is “simply so busy.” This is just to keep people at bay and keep them quiet. Ninety percent of them are going to be shocked when she does not invite them to the wedding. You would think that she would be trying to draw the people she knows closer to her so that they will feel more loyal to her. It is the opposite. She is actually pushing them away. She has become paranoid about everyone is using her.

    Now story on her denying knowing ‘those people’ after her half brother asked for help with paps/media. He had family photos of them together. But then she denied knowing about Harry because of where she grew up in engagement interview then pic went public of her as teen sitting in front of Kensington Palace. Don’t forget PH saying she never had a real family. Where’d he get that idea? Please.

    I’m conflicted between Paris Hilton and Meghan Markle!

    Keep family and friends close, loyalty counts for so much. They could all turn on her if they feel pushed away.

    I have to say, I used to root for her and Hazza, but since the engagement, I have been more and more disappointed. Poor Harry.

    But she’s paranoid because she thinks people will use her because that’s what she was doing herself.

    I have plenty of acquaintances but only a few very close friends. Loyalty is something I cherish and it goes both ways. Keep your friends close… enemies closer could be her strategy, but I’m sure her enemies list exceeds her friends.

    This sounds like Meghan Markle. My advice to her is to let her old life go – unless you know you have really really decent people who are not going to be jealous and/or nasty.

    Decades ago I moved on to a new life (no, not marry a prince lol) but it was a different life than my previous life. I made the mistake of holding on to my old friends. When some came around me, they were often jealous and angry at how my life had changed and caused a lot of drama. I eventually had to cut them off.

    In her case, prob better to distance but that was her intention going down this road to begin with. She knows exactly what she’s doing marrying Harry and I don’t believe she is genuine and well intentioned, just hungry to be a Diana-like figure.

    I would be paranoid, too. Her family (aside from her mother) is a little kooky. Her “friends” and coworkers name drop every chance they get. Guess that’s what happens when you marry into money and royalty!

    her own family was not very loyal, they are pretty publicity hungry, otherwise they would’nt attack her fiancee via media. I don’t blame her.

      Her family was upset and hurt when he said HIS family was the only REAL one she’d known yet there were many family photos of her growing up looking happy. Maybe her family is hurt and the media is now the only way to contact her. Harry made a big deal in the media about the press hounding her mom but the rest of her family don’t count?

    It’s funny coming from a woman who has done nothing but used people in her life to climb up the social ladder and land her current prince. Only someone who has used people in the past would be paranoid now. Notice her longest friendships are only a few years long? Ugh.

    She can’t invite *everyone*, it would be crazy. Can’t blame her if she has to distance herself from some people. I hope her and Harry are able to invite their closest friends and charity representatives and keep it fairly close knit.

    No idea on the bride, but she should invite her “real” friends and relatives who are not trying to use her. No one needs “loyalty” on their wedding day. It’s supposed to be a celebration of love.

    Disloyal people will be disloyal no matter if they are invited or not.. Rather sad if she becomes suspicious of everyone though

      Yup. And they are making her pull the trigger on her past acquaintances. Sad really. Abusers and narcissists usually isolate you from others that might care for you or have influence in your life. She will be lonely. She is literally giving up her entire life for Harry. Hope he appreciates her.

    I’m guessing Meghan Markle. I honestly don’t know what I would do if I were her…damned if she does, damned if she doesn’t kind of situation. It seems like there’s all sorts of family dynamics going on with people she hasn’t been around in a long time for whatever reason. Do you invite a bunch of people you don’t know, who seem tactless, to your royal wedding? That seems like asking for trouble too…

    Better to invite friends and relatives and colleagues because you love or like them! I hope Harry carefully notes how she pushes people away when they bother her, as he may be in that position in the not too distant future. I don’t see Sparkle Markle as being happy as a butterfly pinned to a page.

      IF she is allowed to see them, socialize with them, have them APPROVED. I think she is seeing the upside of being a royal only at this point. Ultimately ambition in some ways but I’d WAY prefer to be an actress. You get access but can handle scandal or being casual or doing whatever you want. She is about to step under the ultimate microscope.

      I think Paris as well – the phrasing of the BI “You’ve seen this female celebrity on TV…” feels like “Not an actress.” And of course MM was an actress.

    I think she might have to distance herself from her old life, maybe due to Royal protocols?

      Prince William said in an interview several years ago that he and Kate didn’t get to pick most of the guests and they didn’t even get to pick their clothes. No reason to think that Meghan would have more say on the guests than they did. Any friends and family would probably be put through background checks by the Palace. A very controlled life. Ask Fergie.

      I think if it was Meghan, they would have used “actress”, not “celebrity”. I’m thinking more along the lines of Paris Hilton, who will have much more control over who is invited to her wedding.
