[Blind Gossip] Whenever a celebrity couple divorces, the initial list of excuses given for the split rarely reflects the truth of the situation.

The excuses you are hearing right now (work commitments, busy travel schedules, different family goals, etc.) are predictable.

They’re just not the truth.

You won’t see that, though, until they start dating other busy people in the industry, or create families with other people. By then, you’ll have forgotten that they ever claimed that those things were problems that caused the demise of this relationship.

    This is so obviously Chris Pratt and Anna Faris. His team is throwing everything at the wall in hopes something sticks. I think he’s cheating, with anyone he can get hold of. I don’t know whether she also cheated on him. Reportedly they may have gotten together when she was married. But whenever I’ve seen him with her, even years ago before he lucked into the Guardians gig, he always seemed to be about himself and to not actually care about her that much.

    I know some folks took the ‘Cheating, Cheating, Cheating!’ as a clue that it might’ve been Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor (i.e., “Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!”) but don’t forget that Chris’ handle on Instagram and Twitter is @prattprattpratt. Maybe I’m wrong but it all seems to add up to me.

    I know everyone is guessing Chris as the cheater but maybe Anna got lonely while left at home for months and stepped out? I dunno. It’s sad either way. I liked them as a couple.

    The word “busy” being used a couple times…

    A source was quoted saying “he has a very busy Hollywood career” (while she’s focused on being a mom) shortly after their announcement.

    Obviously Chris Pratt and Anna Farris. Have you seen the painful pictures of Anna and J-Law at the premiere of Passengers? Anna had a horrible smile plastered on her face as she went to hug J-Law. Meanwhile, J-Law’s hands are literally twisted into claws the entire time, she never relaxed them! It’s the definition of awkward moment!

    She has weight problems and if u watch her in interviews, she is super twitchy. Chris is not Jlaws type.

    I think it was both of them. I’m sure his newfound fame was tough on the relationship cause he’s always gone and from what I’d heard she was very jealous of the women he worked with so I’m sure that pushed them further apart. I don’t think it was with J Law though, they always seems so awkward together and in interviews

    I am not buying the phony divorce stuff being put out regarding the couple:
    CHRIS PRATT & ANNA FARIS.
    His cheating became so brazen that poor Anna had to pull the plug. IDK who Pratt is schluping but he better be careful not to alienate his female fans who are mad about him cheating on his sweet wife—a la Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner.

    Both “excuses” can be true – travel/work schedules/etc. could have driven them apart and led one/both to cheat.

    I don’t think he’s cheated with anyone. I also don’t think JLaw was responsible for anything. I think they just wanted different things, and that’s it. She wanted more children, he didn’t. They grew apart. They didn’t see each other for months at a time. His career and ego are soaring, and he’s in a different place and wants different things. I genuinely think they’re parting on good terms.

      I do agree this is not about JLaw, though. I think Chris just started believing the hype about himself and became an egotistical jerk. It was apparent in his interviews as he got more famous that he’d lost his sense of self and his ability to separate the movie star from the man. He’s not the first, won’t be the last.
      As Chris Rock has famously said, most men are only as faithful as their opportunities. She’s better off moving on.

      Are you quoting TMZ or are you his publicist? Do you really breakup a marriage and family because you want more kids? They’re still young and there is plenty of time to have a family. Besides is she now going to rush out and have more kids as a single mother? I doubt it very much. Would you divorce someone for becoming successful in their career? Especially since this was both their chosen profession before they got married? I doubt that too.

      Chris was cheating and I hate to think it was with Jennifer Lawrence, but those pics from the Passengers premiere are painful to look at. Anna looks so miserable

      I just saw those pictures, WOW! The way Jennifer Lawrence was hugging Anna, looks like Jennifer was overwhelmed and uncomfortable with Anna’s hug, which unfortunately points to a sign of guilt. I know many think that Jennifer breaks up a lot of relationships but it seems that she is always the rebound, like with Chris Martin, Darren Aronofsky, etc. If it is true, I am perplexed as to how everyone is blaming Jennifer for the break up, Chris was equally culpable if not more. I feel bad for Anna.

    I am starting to think the cheating rumors with JLaw are true – let’s face it she has a history of co-star entanglements. Nicholas Hoult from Xmen – Liam Hemsworth ( which she said she liked to kiss when they were bored) then back to Nicholas when they filmed Xmen again – Chris for Passengers and now this older guy who is the director of the movie that is being released soon. Starting to think Chris cheats with any pretty face

      Mind you that he was actually considered hot BEFORE they got together (check out clips from Everwood and The OC). He has admitted that when they met, she was married and he used to tease her with his sexploits. Eventually, Anna left her husband for Chris, and she kept him like a good hometown girl would…by feeding him her love…copious amounts of “love”. Every time he lost weight before, he’d come back fatter and she reveled in it.
