[Blind Gossip] We told you that a famous family decided to adopt a new strategy in dealing with its rogue member.

They are freezing him out.

You may have noticed that Sonny’s family has rarely mentioned him in the past few months.

That cold approach was also evident during his recent visit.

While there were media reports that Sonny was meeting with this family member over lunch and that family member over dinner… that actually was not true!

You mean his team was lying to us? Gasp!

Total private interactions with family? One.

There was one only one discussion and it was not pleasant. Multiple non-family members were present to prevent any misinterpretation of the issues. Only one family member was present. The discussion was formal and brief and centered around several business matters. It will not be made public.

A formal agenda of business items that could only be discussed with witnesses present? That sounds intriguing!

Business aside, what about social interaction with his family? Sonny was in close proximity to dozens of family members who have not seen him in a long time. Didn’t he meet up with them?

Multiple requests from him to meet with various family members were politely but firmly declined.

The bottom line is that the entire family knows that they can not trust him. Any private conversation would be taken straightaway to the media and twisted to suit his agenda. They will not be fooled again.

Any reports or suggestions coming from his team that he had a private dinner with one family member or engaged in a long heartfelt conversation with another family member are fabricated.

So although his team is trying to spin the visit, the truth is that everyone in the family really is avoiding Fredo Sonny right now.

The freeze out continues!

    yelling at the crowd and his behavior was a joke. I thought H behaved like a complete *. This was supposed to be a special occasion in honor of his mother and he acted like a complete fool. I don’t recall him being like that before *. I was shocked. I think he’s lost to the BRF forever. He will never leave her.

    I don’t think Harry will divorce *. I think * was so far out of her comfort zone that it was embarrassing and that’s why she has retaliated by blaming everyone else to save face. But she definitely has Harry by the short and curlies. The Royal family will work out some deal so Harry and * will be allowed the half in/ half out strategy they originally wanted mostly so they have more control over them. I just hope they take it, for the kids sake.

    Wonder who was the family member he did meet with(with witnesses). I would lmao if he had a meeting with grandmother and expected it to be all roses after the Lilibet publicity and she admitted him to her chambers surrounded by lawyers and very businesslike laid down the law of how things were gonna be and then dismissed him.

    For someone to claim as being so devastated and destroyed by his mother’s death, Harry=Sonny sure was smiling a lot at the statue unveiling.

    He should have just stayed single and dedicated his life to the monarchy.

      Exotic is defined as something (or someone) foreign or from another part of the world, or intriguingly different and exciting. I think that definition applies to the way Harry saw Meghan.

    Le sigh, they will welcome him back without the golddigger but he will never regain the level of trust that he had, however, I believe he’s less of a nuisance IN rather than OUT. I think that’s the smarter move by the Monarchy. Being IN, however, will come with a LOT of strings (agreements, NDAs, etc). Like they say, the Devil knows more from being old than from being the Devil. Good move to not give the kids titles, their mother knows no bounds of exploitation.

      I think the Queen saw him at Frogmore and told him he didn’t have her permission for the name Lilibet and it was never to be used commercially, as it is definitely Royal related. I believe HM is furious, she knows exactly what * is up to.

    the prince who kissed the girl and turned into a toad, Harry. I doubt Wills will ever trust him again. The final insult had to be the way Harry treated the statue unveiling. Laughing, joking and being disrespectful on a sombre occasion, you could see William was less than impressed. Even if * divorces him I can’t imagine the family welcoming him back with open arms. Not even the Queen can heal this family rift, that much has become obvious. Harry deserves no sympathy from those he hurt.

      My guess is that Harry had bolstered his courage in meeting his betrayed relations with a little pharmaceutical assistance or alcohol. Those over exaggerated movements were telling.

    One thing I noticed about the video re: the unveiling of Diana’s statue – William always kept a physical distance from Harry unless other people were also close by. I wonder if he was purposely doing that to avoid any photo-ops that H&M could alter and misconstrue. Also, William had a sober look on his face. Harry was joking and laughing, but you could tell the Duke of Cambridge wasn’t feeling the love at all!

      William did an exceptional job of appearing perfectly comfortable with his brother while never actually looking at him or speaking to him other than idle remarks. I loved how their Aunt Sarah came up to protect William’s side when he was staring at the statue and * was yelling to people and making remarks he was pretending William was interested in hearing. She got right up there next to Wills & protected him from Harry and she didn’t acknowledge Harry at all. Brava!

      Gee, it was almost as if his wife had coached him on how to smile and pretend he was fine. The twisting of his wedding ring multiple times meant nothing I’m sure. Like how his wife was watching and would be grading him on his performance in making it look like he was back with his family again. For the money & prestige they lost and now need to build back. Good luck with that. Those poor children.

      @Olderwiser, Sarah standing next to William is very telling by showing she supports him over Harry and likely recognizes that her sister’s memory and death is being exploited for financial gain by H. and the wife.

      Charles has no say about what, if anything Edward will inheritt. He’s not King yet. Also, I read that any inheritance from phillip was to be put on ice for a year after his death. Charles does plan to slim down the Monarchy, but Edward is already a working member so it won’t affect him.
      We’ll see what happens with the title in a year

      Queen Elizabeth and the late Prince Philip promised the title to Edward. She would have made him the Duke of Something Else otherwise when he married. Edward and Sophie have worked hard and been a credit to The Firm in general. I hope QEII squelches this rumor.

      Titles almost always descend through the eldest son, so Charles automatically inherited the title of Duke of Edinburgh at Philip’s death. After QEII dies & Charles becomes king, he will have the authority to give up & subsequently bestow the title on Edward, & agreed to do so back in ’99. It may seem absurd to us as Americans, but it’s how their system works & has worked for literally 1000 years.

      This is nothing more than anti-Windsor PR out of Montecito. Obvious Sunshine Sachs is…

    I think he’s been frozen out of the BRF for the long-term, and this isn’t what he bargained for (remember his speech about wanting to be half-in/half-out of royal duties). I look for their marriage to last 7-10 years before he understands what he’s done and who he’s married. At that point, he’ll have to move to Africa for several years and rehab himself mentally and emotionally. He may be somewhat accepted back in the family following that, but it will never be the same.

      Then again, he may surprise us. Many couples stay together in the most miserable of marriages, are abused and damaged for life but are too codependent to leave. She may stay because she senses she wouldn’t be able to control a man as completely ever again. Enter the children and he might forever be at her mercy.

    I think Harry has played everyone. He is not one defenseless kid who was taken advantage of. I always thought his joking and cheerfulness pre Meghan was fake, just like his demeanor in the unveiling of his mom’s statue. He was always waiting along the sidelines for the right person to come along that would take the brunt of the hate off him so he can be as callous to his family. I think he really is a bad seed. His family has finally accepted this and freezing him out completely is right

      Amen to this! It’s been said that, as a child, he was resentful of his brother having special visits with their Grandmother, QEII (learning about future duties as a monarch). I think Harry’s true colors have been revealed and it can’t all be blamed on the D list actress he married.

    Opt: We all have at least one family member like this. To me, broken trust is seldom regained. It’s worse in this situation because he took private conversations to the media.

    There won’t be nuch trust until he seperates from his wife, take the children and gets rid of his attention seeking behaviours. I also decided to never speak with my sister again because of trust issues and once you’re done with one family member there is hardly a way back.

      Why would he divorce his wife? He’s getting positive global attention, telling his palace abuse-racism story while dumping on his brother who he claims isn’t happy as a royal, which if true would be his bros place to disclose not Harry’s. And can’t just take the children, he shares them with their mother.

      I don’t think the royals will trust H even if he divorces his wife, so they might as well stay together.

      To outsiders it looks like a no brainer that H would divorce his wife, but there are plenty of these H and his wife marriages that last decades or a lifetime as hard as it can be for outsiders to fathom. It means H is very damaged mentally and the royals kept it carefully hidden behind a mask of PR. H went along with the PR so we did not see the truth until his wife showed up.

    Just Harry. I’m not sure if they will ever fully trust him again and I don’t blame them. He has made his choices and they have made theirs, and I feel like it’s totally his loss. In any ‘normal’ family if one member tells lies and manipulates then other relatives will come to realise that the best thing is to distance themselves, and I think the Royals are quite entitled to do the same. It’s such a pity as lots of great work could have been done as the ‘Fab 4’

Why would Eugenie publicly congratulate them on the birth after all they put her grandparents through? It’s a mystery but it’s a small comfort to remember that she (and her dad fwiw) is constitutionally irrelevant just like Fredo.

    What will it take for the family to trust Sonny again? It will take Harry to see his wife for who and what she is, and leave her. This is unlikely to happen as 1. Harry doesn’t have the intellect, and 2. Meghan will always use the children as leverage, irrespective of their well-being – which as a narcissist she couldn’t care less about.

    The terms for his return are simple: It must be without Meghan. Even then, he will be viewed with less than full trust. Too many bridges have been burned, so he must swim the moat. Personally, I think the only way this will happen is if she snags a bigger fish.

    What will it take for his family to trust him again? A divorce; a public apology, including a retraction of the racial slur; and a very, very long time.

    This item has really cheered me. It shows the that BRF really do realize how serious the situation is. It had looked, from the outside, that they were trying to minimize and dismiss the whole thing.

    Ol’ ginger Fredo can’t be trusted, as the BRF has experienced this year. So now they provide non-family witnesses if he meets with any of them (smart move!) Sonny is, of course, Prince Henry…a real turncoat. Will he ever be trusted again? If I were a member of that family, I’d say no way!

    its betrayal of the highest order to lie about your family for money and while one day they may forgive him they should never allow him to get into the position to abuse them again. from now on there should be no private interactions with him so that he cannot lie about what took place, in fact i would let him know that he should assume everything is documented on video going forward because the royal family also happens to be a government institution.

    Sonny = Henry Harry Mountbatten Windsor. Very sad situation for the rest of the family. My heart breaks for his brother & amazing grandmother. & even Charles has sounded to be as supportive–as he’s able–of Harry given the other pressures I’m sure Charles feels professionally.

    Harry IS Fredo. My gut says never trust him again. There’ll never be a way back for Harry until he divorces Meghan, has a no contact order in place with her & shows over time he can be trusted in small & big…

    Definitely Harry. My guess is he met the Queen and she told him off. He’ll never be welcomed back into the family until he looses about 150 lbs of Duchess. They can’t trust him with anything. My guess is he’s under threat that if anymore is leaked he will lose all titles and be totally on his own. That’s why he beat feet back to Cruella so quickly.
