[Blind Gossip] Given how she nearly lost her life from substance abuse, you would think this singer’s “new” life would consist of people who eschew such self-destructive behaviors.

Nope.

She is hanging with [redacted list of names]. They all drink a lot and they’re all drug users. Coke, x, her*in, pills, etc. Some of them go in and out of rehab on the regular and get clean for like five minutes. Then they come back to this group and start using again. If you need anything, just ask any of her friends and they’ll have it in your hands in a hot minute.

Given all she went through, why is she hanging out with them?

These are the kind of people she likes. She likes guys who are dirty and druggy and tatted up. She is weirdly interested in everybody’s stories about when they were arrested or when they almost died or that time that they got rolled when they were high. She feels like they are the only ones who “get” her.

So if you hold a job, bathe regularly, and don’t do drugs, would she have any interest in you?

Nah. Normal people who are clean are boring to her.

    Addicts are told not to hang with their old friends who still drink and drug. She is setting herself up for a fall. Pray for her.

    I’m guessing Demi lovato. Could have sworn she nearly died not too long ago from a heroin overdose within the past year and a half or so.

    I think this is Selena. The related blind is about Louis and Zayn from 1Direction, and Selena is good friends (and repeatedly rumored to be secretly dating or hooking up) with Niall Horan, another member of the former band.
    Plus there’ve always been rumors that Selena’s near-fatal kidney disease was mostly caused by her substance abuse.

    Optional: Absolutely not. She needs to move out of LA. She was lucky to get a second chance at life but at this rate..

    Sometimes when you grow up in a chaotic home, you mistake it for exciting energy as an adult. Takes some of us a loooong time to realize that it’s not fun, normal or healthy. Hopefully Demi can figure this out before she has another disastrous overdose. Wishing you well, girl!

    I hope so. She is so talented and has so many people rooting for her. But she needs to deal with her past trauma.

    Sadly the longer she’s around the toxic drug users and alcoholics the closer she is to a relapse.

    It’s up to her though. The only one that can make Demi get clean and sober is Demi.

    Based on all I’ve read it is very likely she has already relapsed. Thus explains the circle around her.

    Sadly, no. It’s hard to feel sorry when people do it to themselves over and over again. It will be tragic when she overdoses for the final time, but I won’t shed no tears.

    Op- regardless if I am correct or not; the chance of remaining sober is highly impossible. Too much temptation- really sad that they continue down this path of self destruction given so many chances to be redeemed.

    Yes, I think she can stay sober, she needs to really want it, and stop blaming others. She has a great support system waiting to help her.

    Is Demi really that dumb to hang with users? I would think rehab 101 teaches you to stay away from all your using friends if you want to stay sober.

    The only person I can think of is Demi Lovato. But wasn’t there just a story about her coming out to her parents? This clue talks about her being interested in guys so maybe I am wrong.

      The coming out was in reference to her “admitting” she was a heroin addict/drug addict for all these years.

    She is rumored to be dating Machine Gun Kelly. My first thought when I heard this was she is definitely back on drugs.
