[Blind Gossip] Behind the scenes of this TV show that has been on the air for many years, the staff and crew are in chaos!

They are stunned by recent events and are preparing to jump ship.

Remember after the election when people who supported Hillary were crying and screaming, “NOOOOoooo!” at the top of their lungs? It’s like that here. Only worse.

What’s causing all the drama? The possible return of one of The Star’s relatives.

Dude is a Machiavellian psychopath. He makes her crazy and he makes all of us crazy. He’s got her convinced that her show will fail without him. I’m telling you that her show will fail WITH him, because we are all getting ready to quit if he comes back!

The smart move was for The Star to cut him out completely. He somehow weaseled his way back in. How?

He’s controlling, but it’s more than that. The internal chatter here is that he has some photos/videos of her that are really blackmaily and career-ending.

Something really blackmaily would certainly do it!

It’s been a busy week for talk show host Wendy Williams!

First, she was criticized for talking about Joaquin Phoenix’s scar on air.

Williams said “When he shaves off his mustache he’s got a hairline fracture. He’s got one of those — what do you call it? Cleft lip, cleft palate,” she said, and then used her finger to make one side of her mouth bigger.

Of course, that caused thousands of people to jump on the internet and petition to get her fired from her job.

In case you were wondering, Joaquin Phoenix’s scar is the result of a cleft lip.

Williams has since apologized for her comment.

Secondly, there was some controversy over Wendy Williams farting on air.

Wendy Williams says she did not fart.

She did not smelt it, so she did not dealt it.

Or something like that.

Third, there was the announcement that Wendy Williams and her husband have finalized their divorce!

Wendy Williams, Kevin Hunter finalize divorce

Wendy Williams and her ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, have finalized their divorce.

Us Weekly confirmed Thursday that Williams, 55, and Hunter, 47, reached a settlement in their divorce Tuesday.

Page Six reported Williams and Hunter both agreed to forgo alimony. Williams will keep a $1 million life insurance policy on herself that benefits Hunter, but has the right to reduce the amount every year.

Williams will also cover Hunter’s health insurance under her current policy.

TMZ said Williams and Hunter will split the profits from their Livingston, N.J., house, which is up for sale. Williams will keep the pair’s furniture, sans one sculpture, while Hunter gets his Ferrari and Rolls-Royce.

In addition, Williams will keep the pair’s house in Florida, while Hunter will receive the profits from another home he recently sold in Morristown, N.J.

Williams filed for divorce in April after 21 years of marriage. The split followed reports Hunter had cheated and fathered an illegitimate child with Sharina Hudson.

Williams and Hunter have one child, son Kevin Hunter, Jr., 19.

Williams has hosted the Wendy Williams Show since 2008.

It took a while, but the divorce from that dirty dog finally happened.

Fourth, what about the concerns of the employees that we talked about in the original blind item who couldn’t stand working with Hunter any longer?

If you recall, even after Williams had announced their divorce, her creepy, controlling husband managed to talk her into letting him keep his job on her show.

Well, there’s some good news.

Hunter has agreed to sell his equal shares in Wendy Williams Productions, Inc., to Williams, making her the sole owner of the company. Hunter will receive a lump sum and severance package.

That means he’s out!

Good thing, too, because those employees were ready to quit if he had stayed!

Finally, what about the “really blackmaily” thing that Hunter was supposedly hanging over Williams’ head?

Well, now that the divorce and business affairs are settled, it is safe to assume that those settlements included a Non-Disclosure Agreement to silence Hunter from here on out. Therefore, we will probably never find out what that blackmaily thing was.

    I’m hoping that this is part of a longer-term plot to avoid alimony — e.g., hire Kelvin (his real name is Kelvin), then fire him down the line when the divorce is finalized. I’m hoping she’s not doing this because she misses him, because just give it a little more time and you’ll forget about him. Either way, if I worked at the Wendy show, I’d be looking for a way out right now.

    Ms. Williams needs to get the heck out of the entertainment industry for her own health’s sake. Just go do something less stressful for a minute. Anything that would make her less available to this *hole ex-husband would be good.

    Get a restraining order! That man is a vile leech, but I guess Wendy has such a low self-esteem that she feels loved and attractive when he shows her he wants her back. I can see years of abuse have really warped her mind, the Stockholm Syndrome is extremely common in abusive relationships. Sad.

    I would completely cut him off and out of my life. I would look for another person to hire to handle any business he used to handle. There are plenty of excellent, capable people. I would come forward with any damaging info first so he has nothing to hold over me and involve the authorities. Blackmail is illegal. People like that will never stop.

    Wendy williams? Her ex has been known to be extremely manipulative and controlling. Heck, she knew he was cheating for years and did nothing til the mistress had his baby. I think she had major insecurity issues. Not confident in herself even though she projects the image she is. I’d call his bluff, tell him to do his worst and deal with it. People already know about her addiction issues so if it’s something to do with that we already know.

      Whatever it is, she could console herself with the mantra, “It can’t be any worse than what Mel B. and that phony Bellefonte revealed during their divorce battle.” And Mel B. hasn’t let it crimp her style in the least…Wendy, if Mel B. can still have a career after all of that, then you can too!

      No kidding! Here’s a woman who’s show is merely for her to trash other celebs about their lives. I’ve heard her more than once publicly call folks out over things that are really none of her business. So now SHE’s in this boat and I just can’t drum up any empathy. Karma!
