Shut Down The Crisis

[Blind Gossip] The most important thing to keep in mind as you read this is the following: Both sides of this family are liars!

They lied about the siblings reconciling.

They had to put up a united front to fulfill a diplomatic obligation. However, they are definitely still estranged.

They lied about the women taking part in the conversation and talking to each other.

At no point were either wives involved in the meetings, nor did they speak to each other. In fact, [the wives] have not spoken in months.

They lied about seriously considering taking away titles.

There is a distinct hierarchy here within the family and it was quickly decided that absolutely no outsider could ever be allowed to disrupt that traditional structure for any reason. It would be unfathomable and degrading to require a former senior person to genuflect to an inferior.

They lied about wanting to lead a quieter life out of the media spotlight.

He acknowledges internally that his decision actually means that the media will be even more intrusive going forward. It is a trade-off for other goals, such as monetary gain.

They lied about considering taking away his house.

They eventually want to bring him back into the fold, even if that event is several years hence. They need to play the long game to make it easy for him to return. Permanently stripping him of everything would have had the opposite effect.

So, why are both sides lying?

There was a determination that the crisis needed to be shut down quickly.

The only way the chaotic media feeding frenzy would stop is if the family pretended that all options were seriously considered; that all important matters were settled; and that all parties parted amicably.

Many compromises had to be made in the name of expediency.

We’re not so sure those compromises were good ones.

While not all of them were optimal, the necessity to quiet the chaos and return to stability was paramount.

We might be giving them too much credit, but perhaps one side knew that causing extreme chaos would result in them getting more of what they wanted?

Perhaps. However, the family is confident that their decision to play the long game is the correct one.

We’ll see if that strategy pays off in the next few years!

    The Queen will be the ultimate winner once this is played out . Wasn’t she a mechanic during WWII ? That should tell people something. She is upper class but she is also tough & street smart. Harry is a dimwit . Meghan is a smart grifter but she has met her match even if she isn’t aware of it

    I expect Harry will feel sucker punched the day he realizes that MM is secretly courting the press after he gave up everything (country, status, etc.) because MM said she needed to escape the press.

    The threat of the interview is interesting. I think they should throw Andrew to the FBI and leave him to it but apart from that the RF have come through Diana interviews, Andrew Morton’s book, Paul Burrell’s book, the Camilla tapes, Fergie’s toes, Kate’s topless photos and her Ibiza uncle…
    they always clean up in the end so the threats are pretty empty no matter what their pet journalist friend says.

    Hmmm……just a wild guess, but….something to do with Harry and Meghan?

    In a way, it’s possible they feel extraneous compared with the much more admired Kate and Will, who seem to be universally loved. Meghan and Harry: somewhere in this mess, I think they – especially Meghan – feel like the runners-up in some contest.

    Harry did a couple tours in a far off place, and those people don’t forget. He is now outside the heavy circle of protection he had, and while he still has some, including Canadian Mounties … Canada is just not equipped to handle the issue.

    What she did potentially puts them all at risk, for her selfish interests.

    Winners – the Royal family including the Queen (she has ensured that the Royal family will survive into the future, which is all she cares about), Charles (same as queen), william and kate (no one to outshine them), Andrew (no one is talking about him), Harry and Meghan (no longer unwanted spares, but can make money and set up a rival ‘court’)

    Losers – all us peasants, who keep paying the taxes

    The rf benefits the head of the firm, only. RF members earn £100k plus for each patronage (charity and otherwise), they do nothing for free. I don’t blame Harry for cutting out.

    The couple are threatening to sue the media after pap photographs of Meghan taking a walk in a forest on Vancouver Island with baby Archie, her two dogs and two bodyguards were splashed on the front covers of UK tabloids today. They’re screaming invasion of privacy, but in the pictures, MM is looking straight at the camera and grinning ear to ear, not looking upset at all. Looking very pleased with herself, actually. So how did the paps just “happen” to be in a forest in the wilds of Canada?

    Harry, Meghan, and the BRF. The HRH titles were not stripped but M&H agreed not to use them. It will be interesting to see how “Sussex Royal” changes once that transition is made. Harry is a prince by birth. The HRH title is open for him, but I believe as long as he is with Meghan he (or she) can’t use it. The BRF doesn’t want Meghan in the fold but is keeping the door open for Harry.

    From reading this, it would appear Meghan and Harry were the winners. They get to keep their Duke and Duchess is Sussex titles, which is what they’ve based their entire business plan on. So now they get to make money off their association with the royal family without having any of the responsibilities that come along with being a royal. What a joke.

    I’m hoping they get what’s coming to them at some point.

    In the short term, Meghan is the winner, since she finally has the opportunity to chase fame and fortune as an A-lister on her own terms. Harry is the loser, since he is completely estranged from his family and had to give up the military patronages which were so important to him. As for the long-term, we’ll have to see how successfully their plans work out. The family is the winner, both short and long term.

    Winners and losers? Well clearly Meg thinks she’s won – did you see the smile on her face when she was papped out walking Archie? I think Harry has lost the most of all – he’s given up his life, his family, his career, his military respect, his country, his privacy coz he’s a fool if he thinks he will be in control of the media interaction now…. will be interesting to see how it all pans out over the next few years!

      Megs PR team is already selling him out. He’s part of the short term plan, but not the long one. I think her team is putting out all the stories of him being fragile for when she is ready to dump him. He didn’t seem fragile talking to Bob Iger!

      Now he’s abandoned his post, sadly, the press knives will be out for him. He’s just Mr Markle now. I’m expecting some expose or other at some point personally. Purely bcs the press don’t care any more. And he most likely has given up Royal protection where reporting is concerned. It’s a shame it ever came to this.

Meanwhile Archie absolved his first official papwalk with his mummy, who clearly didn’t practicize how to hold a baby since this polo event last summer, but couldn’t hide how happy she is about this paparazzo she incidentally met somewhere in canadian woods.     The Royals have done all they can. H&M won’t be private, they’ll step up getting money and fame, what M wants, and she’s going to go after it now she’s free of the family, which I think was her endgame. The Royals should ban them from using any kind of royal name in their money making, that’ll fix their little red wagon. H&M are going to become the * of the royal family.       He will be. He’s miles from his close knit fam in a foreign country, with no military mates/his type of male company who he can have a laugh and a pint with, and kick back with.

      He’s now Mr Markle in a world full of Oprahs, huge teeth and hairspray actors. And one day in he’s already dealing with lawyers to prevent paps getting long lenses into his new abode. Good luck to you Harry!

    Megan Markle got what she wanted the dream wedding, the title, marrying a clone of her first husband but this one much more famous. She now has the baby and a certain fame which she never got as a television actress on a cable show. He finally got away from the burdens of his heritage and hopes he can still cash in thats not going to happen for long. If they really wanted to get out of the media scrutiny. They could have bought a ranch in Manitoba and disappeared.

    Meghan won. She gets to sell her tacky “Sussex Royal” crap & maybe even star in Keeping Up with the Sussex Royals, making a ton of $$$. No more annoying & dull royal stuff. She can go back to acting & hang out with her Elton John/Oprah type friends without the scrutiny.

    It’s been less than two years, and look at everything that’s gone on since Harry’s marriage. I think Meghan enjoys all the press- even the negative. She’ll get more money and maybe some work, then I think she’ll dump Harry and find some Silicon Valley billionaire. Harry isn’t that powerful, so she’ll look for someone else who holds more power in Hollywood. Can’t see it lasting.

    Imagine having Royals who think they are superior to you by birth, & are disgusted by the idea of a fallen Royal ever having to bow to commoners? So then, Prince Andrew is superior to us?       “Amagod121,” we have all been thinking Meghan’s half-sister Samantha is crazy – but this woman has been right about Meghan all along.

      Notice 2 things.

      1. They technically cannot use SussexRoyal – because they are no longer Royal.
      2. Harry has been allowed to continue his Royal connections (Buckingham Palace called all his patronages and said he would continue) but Meghan has been kicked to the curb with her patronages – the Queen is on to her.

    I also don’t see how they will make money off the SussexRoyal trademark. I think part of taking away the Royal titles was to make the SussexRoyal website basically useless.

    Harry will eventually go back to his family. I think taking away his military titles was part of that.

    Yes, this is a long game. This is not the Queen’s first rodeo. She handled it quickly and well – as usual.

      Winners: The Queen. I think Sophie, Prince Edward’s wife might get a “promotion” – take over the patronages from Meghan

      Losers: Meghan and Harry. You cannot go up against the Queen. Diana tried it – didn’t work. The Queen is also a long-term person. She will definitely make it to 100, probably 110 years old. Harry lost his brother, who he was extremely close to.

      Overall, it is not going to work, but I am sure you can’t tell Harry and Meghan that.

      Zappy3050, one of MM’s anonymous friends has just told the news that MM will continue to use the “Royal” term on their website &, presumably, for all of their merchandise. They also stated that MM found the Royal family to be toxic, & she patted herself on the back for removing Harry & Archie from them. MM said she did it for her love of Harry & Archie. Honestly, she lies so much that I wonder if she even knows she’s doing it? Also her word – & Harry’s – basically means nothing.

      @ChattyCat – The royal family is not an ordinary family, they are also a business, a firm as they call it, that must do what they need to do to hold their position that they’ve held for hundreds of years. Meghan knew what she was marrying into and if she didn’t like it, as at least two other ladies did and wouldn’t marry Harry, then she should not have married him. As you said, Diana did this and failed, Meghan had history to note. Admire her all you like, who cares, but she knew.

The RF playing the long game are playing it right. This is never going to last and the RF haa the time, influence and money to shut her down pretty quickly. I think they want to get Harry back.       The only loser is Archie as he loses out on bonding with his relatives. The only relative he has on Meghan’s side is Doria. No matter how Meghan feels about the royals and no matter how they feel about her, Archie deserves to spend time with his aunt and uncle, nephews and nieces.

    The British Royal Family. I’m not sure, however at this point I think Harry and Meghan have won. They keep the house, their titles and money from Charles without having to perform any royal duties. I think the BRF is hoping they will be divorced in a few years and Harry will come home.

      They get to live in the house, but they have to pay rent and reimburse the taxpayer for the cost of the renovations (about $4 million). They are not allowed to use the HRH titles and the money from Charles is only $2.4 million a year (her clothes alone cost half a million). If they have to pay for their own security and other expenses, they will run out of money very fast unless they get some very lucrative businesses going.

    Prince Charles =Loser. He’s got to help support them. Love to hear Camilla’s side of the story.

    Wills and Kate = Winners for being regal and staying out of the fray…and for recognizing MM for who she truly is right away.

    Harry publicly asking for a job for MM was truly pathetic. He is shallow, a real airhead. She will rid herself of him in time.

      I never understood everyone thinking Harry was SO great. Wills is so intelligent & has a wisdom that Harry will never have. He’s always been my fave of the 2. He chose wisely with Kate.
