They met on the set. He was a wholesome guy and she was a wholesome girl. They fell in love.

Then she got druggie and trashy and he dumped her.

Then she cleaned up her act and they got back together.

Now she’s slipping again.

She honestly can’t help herself. She likes being trashy. She likes doing drugs. She cleans up for him but she can’t stay that way. It’s too boring for her. They were talking about having a baby, but now they are going through a rough patch again. There was a week where they didn’t even speak at all.

Couple: Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth

As you now know, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have broken up after just eight months of marriage.

Let’s focus on what was going on in the past year or so.

Basically, Miley had to clean up her act to marry Liam (see Toned Down For Fast Wedding).

Miley was a pothead.

I think weed is the best drug on earth. One time I smoked a joint with peyote in it, and I saw a wolf howling at the moon.

On Jimmy Fallon’s show, she acknowledged that her drug use made her act strange.

I’ve always been very stoned on your shows, I don’t know if you know this. It’s weird to be here. Remember the last time I was here, I was dressed like a bunny rabbit and then a cat? There’s a reason for that – I was high.

After years of being chronically wasted, she stopped drinking and smoking pot in 2017.

She said:

I haven’t smoked weed in three weeks, which is the longest I’ve ever [gone without it]. I’m not doing drugs, I’m not drinking, I’m completely clean right now! That was just something that I wanted to do.

Convinced that she was clean, Liam thought that Miley she was ready for marriage. They married in 2018.

Five minutes later, she admitted that she was doing drugs again with the encouragement of her mom, Tish Cyrus!

Speaking of Mom… this is the women who, back in 2015, was supposedly “desperate” to get Miley off of drugs. That was a lie. Mom’s a big old pothead herself who tokes with her daughter, happily poses in front of a giant safe full of weed, and wants to start her own weed business.

Great parenting there, Mom!

Liam thought he was marrying Clean Miley. Unfortunately, Trashy Miley just would not be suppressed.

As soon as Trashy Miley came back, Liam was out of there. The marriage was over almost as soon as it began.

And here comes the funny part. Miley is now giving the finger to Liam and saying that it was HIS drinking and drug use that led to the downfall of their marriage!

26-year-old Miley battled “valiantly” to save her and Liam’s seven-month marriage, but struggled to accept his heavy drinking and “use of certain drugs.” Her own past substance abuse battle made drug use a “deal breaker”.

    I don’t think she’s that trashy- of course drugs are bad.. but she doesn’t seem like she gets that out of hand, at least not compared to other forms of trashy. He may want wholesome but it’s hard to find. If she wants to let loose every once in a while then she should. He either needs to accept it or move on and find what he wants. Having a baby might not be the best idea at the moment but they do have a way of settling people down.

    Miley, like many young celebs, needs something to live for and give her life meaning other than attention and fame. She’s an addict first and foremost to the adrenaline that comes from the attention fame brings. I wish she’d channel that into non-profit work with refugees and surivors of disasters and violence or trafficking. She needs to understand that waking up safe, warm, dry, free, and not in pain or hungry is a gift not everyone gets to enjoy.

    I’m just stunned that Miley, being as we all know an ageless, pansexual, gender fluid being…just happened to…out of all the possibilities on this planet of love matches, fell in love with a cis gender male who just happens to be 100% heterosexual and gorgeous! What are the odds of that happening?

    Miley Cyrus amd Liam Hemsworth. They are very different people who love each other. Its difficult to remain together in the long run though because changing who you are for someone (even though it is for the better) will create resentment. Miley has issues to deal with completely and honestly before committing to someone.

    That’s a tricky one. Normally I’m not for people changing for each other during a relationship, but she at least stays clean while being with him.

    Couple has got to be Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth. I really hope things work out for them, I like them together, they’ve been able to weather a lot of hurdles over the years, and obviously love each other; I think it’s more rewarding to stick it out and get through hard times together. Makes the good times even sweeter.

    They should break up – although I like seeing them as a couple, it’d be the best for both of them.

    I think they should split up – sounds like they are genuinely not compatible. She should maybe go out with someone who loves having a trashy other half, or just stay single. Bringing a child into this would be unfair on all three.

    Liam and Miley. Yes, her slippage has been creeping back throughout this year. She loves being and living on the edge. It’s what drives her, her music and her fans love it. Unfortunately she equates all of that with being and staying high. It’s their call but truly it’s up to Liam if he can live and deal with her for another 7+ years being “just miley”. If the answer’s yes then go for it. If no, then move on.

    I guess Miley and Liam. Isn’t he about 28? That’s the classic time when many men think that settling down has its advantages. At least that’s been my experience with the men of my acquaintance and in my extended family. Strange thing that. They hit 28 and want to get a serious girlfriend.

      What?? Being a druggie & trashy is “fine” and “great”? If I met someone who is initially wholesome but became a druggie, then I’d definitely want to steer them back to their old self. Not saying I know what Liam’s thoughts are, but juuuust maybe he clings onto the belief that her real self is NOT trashy and can do better?

    Optional: He needs to cut her loose. I have the feeling she’ll get deeper and deeper into the drug scene, which is a bad place to be, and the reason she finds normal “boring” is because she’s addicted to drama. I suspect that’s due to her BP. I also suspect that she’s using street drugs to deal with the BP, instead of Dr. prescribed medications. Why would Chris want to deal with all of this?

    He should dump her. She’s faking her personality to fit into his ideal and that just does not work in the long run. If he wants a nurturing, normal wife & mother for his children, this ain’t it. Idk how he took her back in the first place without being humiliated by her antics. Yikes. I haven’t been able to look at her the same since she wore a strap on w her * out on stage. Run, Liam! Run!
