Reverse Airbrushing

[Blind Gossip] When celebrities pose for a photo that will be widely published – like a cosmetics ad or a movie poster or a magazine cover – there is a 100% chance that the photo will be corrected or airbrushed in some way.

If they are airbrushing the subject’s body, it is usually to make them slimmer and more defined.

Well, except in the case of this celebrity.

I had never met her in person before and I was shocked! She looked like a skeleton. I hate to say anorexic, but she had that emaciated look where you can see every vein popping and every bone poking out. [The graphic artist] had to pump up everything and ADD “inches” to make her look like a healthy human being in the photos rather than a stick insect.

We could go on about her appearance, but let’s give you some other ways to identify her. Our celebrity is best known for her unique and powerful voice, but she does have an instantly recognizable name and face as well.

    Celine needs needs NEEDS to finally come out of the closet, acknowledge her longtime girlfriend, and get the hell on with living. Why kill yourself stressing over what your fans might think? They love her regardless. Openly closeted is soooooo 1984.

    Celine Dion. She’s always been thin, but in recent photos, she looks scary thin. I’m thinking she might have some underlying health issue.

    Celine Dion- she did a photo shoot for the June issue of Elle magazine. They did a real good job of making her look like she wasn’t about to keel over from starvation.

    She’s never done well with negative stress. I’ve watched her since she was a young teen with a voice grown women wish they had, and she lost weight when the press were mean about her teeth.

    Idk who this is but that picture is super disturbing. I know Anna Farris is very thin but I hope it’s not her. I do notice there is a scene or two in the last few episodes of Mom where she is eating. I’m betting they’ve been getting comments from viewers about her weight loss.

    Celine Dion? I think eating disorders is something she’s struggled with in her past and with the stress of losing her husband/manager recently, that would trigger something to read its ugly head again. I hope it’s not her, though. I really like her.

    At first I thought you were talking about Angelina, but now I’m guessing Celine Dion since she’s known for her voice. Just saw she did an interview for Elle and she still looked extremely thin. Wasn’t there an earlier blind on her having a pill problem?

    Celine Dion… L’oreal just debuted an ad campaign with her and i immediately thought she looked healthier – not normal, but at least not distressing to look at. Her children must be terribly worried. Is she possessed by the spirit of Karl Lagerfeld? WTH?

    Pills. She is on something prescriptive. She loves being thin. More thin than others around her. She is loving being seen as fashion forward so is getting lots of designs from fashion houses to wear. They would in turn be encouraging and supporting her skeletal frame.

    This has to be Celine Dion. I saw a picture of her the other day and I couldn’t believe my eyes. She looks emaciated and very unhealthy. It either had to be illness or a severe eating disorder. I hope she gets help and/or is OK.

    I feel for her, I’m 30 with two children and I still struggle with eating. It doesn’t help when people make flippant comments like (wow, how are you so slim after two children?) and of course we lie and say things like we are just naturally small.
    When the truth is, if my weight goes over 105lbs, it feels like the end of the world.
    Sadly, EDs are not something you just “grow out of” when you leave your teens, they stay with you for life. It’s a heavy burden keeping a secret that…

      I hope you can find the help you need to get/stay healthy. I haven’t been through it myself, but I’ve watched friends struggle with eating disorders and it’s very scary to watch helplessly as they get sicker and sicker.

    I’m actually stuck, I have no idea who this could be, there are so many stick insects in the talent industries (music, acting, modeling). My wild guess is that it’s a Victoria’s Secret model. They look like victims of a famine. I will happily donate some of my fat to them. (I’m not fat, btw).

    She’s been ‘managed’ 24/7/365 since she was a child. Now Renee is no longer there to direct her every waking moment. Her skeletal frame tells the biggest story: unhealthy. She’s probably got a gazillion ‘friends’, hangers-on, professional leeches all throwing their advice and guidance into the party. It starts off liberating but then…..

      That’s a great point… anorexia at the core is partly about control or rather, stopping feeling out of control. I always saw her husband as more of a father figure, and in his absence and with the end of her residency (which also provided structure), she must feel like she’s on a carnival ride. :’-(

      Even my husband pointed out how skeletal she looked in that commercial, and he certainly doesn’t follow gossip.

    Wow. It says “unique and powerful voice” so I’d say that knocks out Taylor. Demi has had similar issues, but even at her thinnest, is naturally a little curvy so I can’t imagine her being skin & bones & it not being a headline, if she was seen even just once. Literally the only person left who I can think of is Ariana Grande, & I’ve thought she looked SUPER skinny recently, but brushed it off bc she’s so petite. Still not sure, but that’s my best guess.

      Ariana’s gained weight recently, which I think is a good thing. She was really tiny for a long time and now she looks healthier and happier. The Celine Dion guesses seem to make the most sense as she’s iconic and looks skeletal.

      She has had a girlfriend for years, and Renee was a marriage of convenience. It is so sad to see these older people spend all this effort and mental strain to stay in a closet. Keeping such secrets about your authentic self, will make you sick,literally.
      Who cares? Nobody but the fake “ romances” just makes them look silly.

      No, she was quite a bit heavier when she was in her early 20s. Then when she started dating Rene, she got emaciated. That was at least 20 years ago. She’s been too skinny for years but now it’s off the charts.
