[Blind Gossip] This Senator is running for reelection.
Incumbents are usually shoo ins.
However, everything is so darn uncertain this election cycle that our Senator is apparently covering all her bases!
She told a few people that she sent her mail-in ballot in early because she “didn’t want to take any chances.”
The weird thing is that she is also planning to go to the polls on Tuesday so people can see her voting in person!
We’re not exactly sure what she is doing.
Is she actually casting two votes?
That can’t be legal.
Or is she just going to into the voting booth but not pulling the lever?
In other words, “voting” as a photo op.

[Optional] How will you be voting this year: Mail in ballot or in person? Why?

I think it’s Susan Collins too.. I voted by mail as I have since my teenager was in diapers. If the Post Office can handle Christmas they can handle the election. I checked online like a week after I mailed mine in, and as expected, it had already been counted.

Susan Collins, People are fed up with her flip-flopping.

Early voting, in person. Texan for Biden/Harris and MJ. Hoping the NC peeps will get that charlatan Graham out and Harrison in.
BDBoop says
Those saying Kamala Harris should look up the definition of re-election.
letinstar says
Susan Collins.
She’s always “concerned” about things.
I voted early, in person.
MsSumida says
Joni Ernst
People, its a Senator,
Pelosi, Omar are Representatives
lila8245 says
The only two female senators I can think of up for re-election are Ernst from Iowa, and Susan Collins in Maine. Maine especially is a hotly contested race.
I don’t think Collins will win re-election. Not sure about Ernst but she’s a hypocrite and phony to me- her camp sending out an email an hour after her death was announced celebrating Ginsberg’s death creating a vacancy on the Supreme Court was disgusting. So much for Ernst’s claims of being a good Christian who values the lives of…
Theiiishaveit says
Is Omar up for re-election? She’s the biggest crock ever.
Jenn123 says
Lol. Isn’t this what Trump told people to do? Martha McSally.
I voted early in person. Florida for Biden/Harris!!!
spoofbyrd says
I think this is Susan Collins & although I am no fan of hers & she is not my Senator , this may be exaggerated. I voted early as I always do . Ever since 2000 , there are certain things I don’t trust about our system . Mail in Ballots and Electronic Ballots are 2 of them . When U are there in person your vote has a prayer, mail in & electronic it can get stuck floating in the air .
Whisper says
Don’t know who this is but I voted today. Polls opened early in NY. It was just more convenient to do today than Tuesday
ReaditandWeep says
Sounds like Harris. She is so uncomfortably phony. Those weird fits of inappropriate laughter and the contorted faces she pulls-so off-putting.
Yes, you can get an absentee/mail in ballot and then go vote in person in 6 or 7 states. No you don’t get two votes. The in person vote supersedes the ballot. That is the case in NY- where I’ll be a poll worker this election. I thought most people would have learned by now that laws vary from state to state.
And Trump will win-again.

Many here commenting are letting their feeling get in tha way, sad

Oops…I meant Sen. McSally. Wow–she really got demeaned at the Trump rally. I think we’ll all be glad when this is over.
MargieB says
I’m going with Joni Ernst even though I think it’s Susan Collins.
FYI, to the commenters above, AOC and Nancy Pelosi are not senators and Kamala Harris is not up for reelection.
Baileygirl says
Kamala Harris. Good luck to her and the Boston Braves….
BDBoop says
I voted absentee by mail, and my vote was counted on October 20, 2020.
Whoever she is, she is most certainly a republican probably the one with the *president demeaned the other day, McSally.
CaintGetEnuff says
Nancy Pelosi
In person. USPS has had serious issues getting mail that was “out for delivery” here on time.
gossipgirl28 says
Susan Collins- Maine
I vote by absentee ballot. I’m bringing the ballot to my voting spot just to make sure it gets there. It’s just easier to be able to take my time on my selections.
MommyPalooza says
AOC? Bless her heart.
luddite2 says
It could be any of the clowns we now have in either party, but the better option would be the photo of her being escorted out in handcuffs. I voted early in person.
bubbasbbq says
Sounds like something Lizzie Warren would do.
I am going in person. Why? Unless you send things via certified mail, delivery isn’t always certain. Would you mail 10x$100 bills via first class mail?
If yes, then please send them to me, I promise to return them upon receipt. No, really.
High Steppa says
No idea on the Senator, but I bet that’s pretty common. I’m certain she won’t vote twice – just a photo op.

Differs from state to state. In MN, due to the court ruling that your ballot has to arrive on or before 11/3 (rather than being postmarked), people can vote in person and the absentee ballot will be negated. Same in NY, if I feel I made a mistake or want to change my vote, my in-person vote will count.
whiskers says
Maine Senator Susan Collins.
I will vote in person.
deepsigh says
Susan Collins is my guess.
I voted in person.
3rdWatch says
I think it’s Maine senator Susan Collins. She’s a New England Republican (more libertarian than conservative). She’s liberal enough to trust the mail-in process, but she needs the conservatives to show up in person to ensure her re-election. A photo-op at the polls on Election Day itself would do that
parkland45 says
No idea who this is. Sounds like McCallum. I voted by mail in early October.
bec215d says
If you try to vote in person and your ballot has already been received, you’ll not be allowed to vote. If your ballot hasn’t been received, depending on the state you’ll either be allowed to cancel your ballot and vote OR cast a provisional ballot that is only valid if your Mail-in ballot isn’t received. In short, voting procedures prevent double voters. Happy voting!
Marina says
Kamala Harris. Already voted in person a week ago, don’t feel like getting outside on November 3rd.

Nancy Pelosi
Heck, she’d vote 10x if she could..and probably has.

Obviously a Republican. McSally? Collins?
badgerette85 says
Guessing Tina Smith from Minnesota. Most likely a photo op…
Op- Voting in person on Tuesday – wouldn’t have it any other way! Worked the polls for many years and had to vote absentee, but always seemed anti climatic.
DreamyVelvet says
I voted early, in person. I was a Democrat for 34yrs and I’m shocked at how low and how far they’ve fallen. It kinda breaks my heart. I want my vote to count. I’m not voting “for” Trump, I’m voting against what the Democratic Party has become.
wfreshie says
I mailed mine in early and tracked it on line it made to the voting office…there is cheating on both sides but nowhere near how republicans are making it out to be
MrsCleaver says
Arizona Senator Martha McSally in a tough race against the Kelly guy, I think he’s an astronaut?
She can go “vote” for the photo op but she won’t be able to really vote. My 87 year old mother in law mailed her primary ballot in, then showed up to vote & raised Cane as she had forgotten she mailed her ballot in. They knew it. So sure they will know it here too.
Irises says
Susan Collins
I voted early in-person.
bertwheeler says
Susan Collins?
Absentee ballot. Didn’t want to wait in line for hour with thousands of other people. I’m at the age where I’m more vulnerable to COVID.
mommagoosed says
This *must* be Kamala Harris! Sigh…
I voted on the first day of early voting, in person. 🇺🇸
