Not So Swift

February 7, 2018 Blind Gossip

[Blind Gossip] This young film actress thought she would try to impress her boyfriend by showing off her domestic skills at his place.

He asked her if she would Swiffer the hardwood floors. She grabbed the Swiffer out of the broom closet and started moving it around the room. She complained that it wasn’t picking up anything. That’s when he noticed that she was just using the rubber part to try to dust the floors! He had to show her how to attach the cloth refill to the head. He said it was funny how clueless she was at the beginning and then so totally excited about picking up dust once the cloth refill was attached!

My roommate recently tried to impress my by spraying some bathroom tile cleaner towards the bathtub and saying how she was cleaning the tub.
You really have to wonder how little they actually did when at their parents’ house.

I’ll guess Ariel Winter as I saw an article about her buying a hoover with her boyfriend today.
My oldest is almost 6 and he makes his bed every morning, helps me with laundry and is good at keeping his bedroom and playroom tidy. We’ve always asked him to clean up after himself so things like clearing his plate or putting the toys away are just automatic now. I also give him the mini hoover or duster sometimes to keep him busy as he enjoys being helpful, hope the novelty doesn’t wear off soon!

Summer – Good for you, wished I’d of done this as my 25 year old son who lives with me has the messiest room and doesn’t care about messes, drives me insane! Absolutely start them out young with cleaning and making their beds, I wished I would have.

Elle Fanning? Ugh this blind item is hard!

I wouldnt know how to work a swiffer either, and I’m well into my 30’s, lol. I think this non-story is pretty cute actually.

my kids feed the cat, put their dishes away, help with dinner. Small stuff since they’re 2 & 4. They hate picking up after themselves though!

Why is he asking her to clean his floors? He doesn’t have the time or money to do it himself?

No idea on the actress but my teenage son tried this before his mother rescued her floors!
No one in my house likes to clean the bathrooms yet they love to use them…

Don’t know who this is, but I’ll cut her some slack assuming she never used a Swiffer before.

Our kids each do dishes two nights a week, their own laundry (at age 14), and trade off dusting and vacuuming during the weekly clean. They complain constantly about all of it. *L*

I don’t know, but this is hilarious and I totally know a few girls in this city that would do the same thing.
