[Blind Gossip] This singer is pretending that she was about to receive a big award or honor but declined it because she felt that the timing wasn’t right.

Not true. It’s a story that was made up to try to bolster her image.

It is complete rubbish. No one ever reached out to her and offered her anything. [This award] is only given to people after many, many years of distinguished achievements. I can assure you that does not meet the criteria and is not on any honours list.

Perhaps she could write a song about how noble she was to turn down her imaginary award?

    This has to be Ariana Grande and the supposed offer of Damehood from Queen Elizabeth in the New Years Honours list.
    There is no way she is notable enough to receive an honour that is very rarely doled out to a non-Brit or to a citizen from a country not in the Commonwealth. I can’t even imagine her being equated with the likes of Dames Maggie Smith, Judi Dench, Shirley Bassey, etc.

    Receiving honors from the UK BRF for her Manchester concert. I appreciate what she did but I still think you have to do a lot more to receive that honor. I mean, didn’t she make any money from that concert? I’m sure she did.

      I thought this when I read the story. She’s gotten the key to the city of Manchester in recognition of her work with the victims after the bombing at her show, but Damehood, even honorary? Lol no. Have an idea of how the honors system works before lying for publicity!
