Not A House Flipper

[Blind Gossip] This star is selling multiple pieces of real estate. No, they are not a flipper. No, they are not getting a divorce.

She used to say that she could retire because she had enough money to live on for ten lifetimes. That’s not true. The net worth you see online for her is a joke. She is worth maybe 10% of that. She isn’t poor, but she is relatively cash poor. It’s all in real estate. She was getting creamed by all the carrying costs (mortgage, taxes, insurance). She would leverage one property to buy another. It was almost like an addiction. She’s basically liquidating so she has money to live on.

Given that real estate prices seem too be in a bubble right now, it looks like this is as good a time as any to sell!

    Could this be Chelsea Handler? Lost her high paid job at Netflix and now, with nothing significant (I’m assuming) in the pipeline, she’s down sizing.

    Not sure who the actress is, but is the net worth that is listed online for any celebrity actually accurate? There was an actor( I think Nick Nolte) a couple of years ago that said the number that’s listed for him online is not accurate.

    I want to guess Angelina Jolie, but the blind stated.. “not divorcing”.. hmm ?

    I’m looking for a really older house that’s more a charming fixer upper, than a money pit cesspool. Diligence and wise selection and I don’t think I’ll have any regrets.

    I’m going to guess that this is Oprah.
    My main clue being that the picture is of a WHITE HOUSE.
    She’s clearly had impulse control issues in the past with her fluctuating weight, I could see her getting addicted to buying property

      Hmm I don’t know, Oprah was the first black billionaire woman, I think she knows her stuff., plus she always has money coming in. But if it was her, that would be CRAZY.

    [Optional] Did you ever regret buying a house? Yes–my second one. I wish now that I had waited. Only because it was an impulse buy and I’d have been better off buying closer to home. (Instead of another state!)

    Rosie O’Donnell has had a compound containing five homes on 2.4 acres in Rockland County NY on the market for a while now. She must need the $$ because she has no earning power anymore.
