Baffled By Bedrooms

[Blind Gossip] This celebrity couple has a young baby.

While they may not be commenting about the help they are receiving, they did hire a night nurse to deal with the overnight feedings and diaper changes.

That’s not terribly interesting.

Want to know what is interesting?

The couple does not sleep in the same bedroom.

Their rooms are about equal size, and each has a private bath. They are not connected in any way. Neither is getting up to tend to the baby, and he is not a snorer, so we are baffled as to the explanation for this.

    The pic looks very much like them.

    Why sleep apart? Alec wears a CPAP which is noisy and highly disturbing to one’s sleeping partner.(Ask me how I know.)

    A good night’s sleep is vital to good health and a productive day. I know lots of couples who sleep in separate bedrooms for those reasons alone. It’s not always a barometer of intimacy.

    This doesn’t mean anything, I sleep in separate bedrooms because he’s a light sleeper and fussy while I like sleeping with a fan on. He can’t handle that, what’s the big deal, plus I’ve got my desk and I work late sometimes at home so it makes life easier. Why fight over something as stupid as a fan?

    If you’re single for a long time you get used to sleeping a certain way. And he’s older than her by a few years. It’s got to be hard top go back to sharing a bed after years of being used to sleeping alone

    Who’s baffled pray tell? I’m not. It’s Bradley Cooper and Whoevermabop who just had his baby. The baffling thing is who does he think he’s foolin’? He always bugged me and maybe it’s because he is deceitful. Not sure.
    Why do you think they have separate bedrooms? Maybe he shares a bedroom with his boyfriend.

    Actually, that’s not big news now. So many couples don’t share a bedroom that many new houses come with two master bedrooms.

    No clue about the couple.

    [Optional] I’ve heard from many couples who have this arrangement that it’s not an animosity thing between the pair, but just works better for them. Maybe they sleep better solo, want more bed space, or have different sleeping schedules due to work. I wouldn’t jump to the conclusion that it’s all bad. (Then again, I don’t know the couple)

    No idea who the couple is.

    Some people just can’t stand to sleep with another person. They don’t want to share the covers, the bed, etc. Or they toss and turn a lot. Or they are very light sleepers. Or, they can’t agree on the type of bed each of them likes. Could be any reason, including that they don’t like one another very much.

    some people just like having their own space. i think a lot of couples would be happier this way if they had 2 master bedrooms and could do this

    I think they have separate bedrooms because she’s definitely a lesbian and I don’t know about him. But I will say that it’s not that crazy to not like sleeping next to someone even if it were a real relationship (which it isn’t.)

    Maybe one of them is like a wiggly worm when they sleep. It could also be a temperature thing, where one of them likes it uncomfortably warm or cold.

    This could be any couple from Ryan & Blake, to Ashton & Mila, to Ivanka & Jared. Let them sleep as they see fit.

    Separate bedrooms are gaining popularity for good reasons – I wouldn’t look for drama in this situation. Maybe both of the couple are very exhausted by the end of the day & don’t want to be touched? Having a young baby has to be a huge part of why sleep (never mind sex) is at a premium.

    Obviously not a real couple, but I find the baby thing weird. Each to their own, but even if I was a gazillionaire I wouldn’t swap those early nights with my precious baby, as awful and hard as they were. Dusk til dawn nights up with my baby were hard work but precious and helped us bond. As I say, each to their own but I can’t imagine letting someone else fulfil their needs in that way while I snoozed.

    I see nothing wrong with sleeping in separate bedrooms. A good nights sleep is important. Some of us get more restful sleep alone. When I was a newlywed I had different views. Now I end up in the guest room most nights anyway, because my husband keeps me awake with his snoring, cover stealing and bed hogging and tossing and turning all night long.
    I will say Amanda Seyfried and her husband. Can’t think of his name.

    This could be a LOT of different people. Over 20 celebrity couples have had babies this year already, not to mention babies that were born late last year that fall under the “young baby” category.

    As long as you are sleeping in separate bedrooms for comfort and not because of marriage issues, I think it’s GREAT. Honestly, I think everyone should have separate bedrooms. It doesn’t stop spending time with each other (in whichever bedroom you want) but it means you can be comfortable, not have to share the covers, keep the room at the temperature you like, etc.!

      Agreed! My boyfriend and i sleep in seperate beds almost every night just so we can stretch out more and we love it!

      Yesss. My husband and I have always slept in separate bedrooms and had separate bathrooms. It’s the key to a happy marriage!
