[Blind Gossip] We’ve told you before about this young TV actress’ unorthodox situation.

It just keeps getting worse.

I’ve been in the business for [X] years and I have never seen stage parents like this! For them, it is definitely “fame at any cost.” The entire family is dependent on her salary and her salary is dependent on staying high profile and landing big roles. She feels guilty because her family constantly reminds her that they nearly went bankrupt supporting her career, and that she needs to do whatever it takes to stay famous. That includes what I consider sometimes inappropriate dress and inappropriate interaction with adults. Usually the parents are the ones who put the brakes, but in this case the parents seem to have their foot on the accelerator! I’m really worried for her.

    It’s not right for her parents to lay that guilt trip on her. THEY chose to go nearly bankrupt supporting her career. That’s on them. She shouldn’t be mixing it up and doing “whatever it takes” to keep her career going because she’s only a Child. Her parents are pure trash.
    Hopefully in five years she’ll be emancipated. Her career, unfortunately, will burn out.

    Obviously Millie Bobby Brown, with all this stuff recently about her texting with Drake.

    I feel so bad for her. She’s just a kid. It should be the responsibility of adults around her to make sure she’s safe, and IMO her parents aren’t doing that at all. I read some comment from her insta story where she defended drake and wanted everyone out of her personal life and it was all so sad to me because I don’t think she fully understands what’s going on. It’s all depressing

    Let me say this. – having a child who is a professional (actor, athlete, singer, etc.) is difficult. People stay on the sidelines and judge you – but 1 parent has to be with them at all times when they go for their auditions, work, etc. Unless you want to leave that to the production people (roll eyes). If 1 parent has to quit their job, there is less income for the family, the child’s income then has to supplement the family’s income. I lived this with 1 of my children for several years.

    This is Millie Bobby Brown, whom I feel sorry for. Drake is weird for texting a 14 year old.

    Where do I see her in 5 years? I think she may get a little over-exposed and not land that many gigs. As it stands she doesn’t have anything outside of ST besides Godzilla (for comparison, take a look at Finn Wolfhard’s wikipedia page).

    I really like her, so I hope that in five years, she’s able to shake her parasite relatives and go on to enjoy fame in a healthy way. However, the stories leaking about her tell me that she’ll probably either need rehab or be in rehab.

    In 5 years she will be done. At the emmys with her glasses on, I thought she was 20’s. She would’ve been better off competing for actual teen roles, as no one is going to hire someone who looks 22 but is only 14. It’s the other way around.

    I have no idea who the new one is but we all saw the results of Trash parents with Macaulay McCulkin and Lindsay Lohan ! I actually still have some sympathy for them even though they are adults.

    She’s been having to defend her friendship with Drake. Which, I work with middle schoolers. Not sure why you’d want to hang out with them as friends when you’re in your 30s. But maybe its different with that level of celebrity?

    Hopefully she’s more Drew Berrymore and less Brad Renfro and can come out of childhood stardom mostly okay.

    This is Millie Bobby Brown, whose stage parents care more about her income than her well-being. She has a creepy texting relationship with Drake. He’s 31 and she’s only 14. Is he grooming her? Her parents don’t seem to be concerned about it. If this lack of real guidance continues, Millie could end up like Lindsay Lohan or worse.

    (I hope someone can rescue her & give her enough counseling for her to recognize she, as a minor child, is not responsible for her parents’ decisions; they didn’t have to spend $ to help her with her career even if she begged them to be a child star. My husband was on a successful PBS kids’ show until he was a tween. When he wanted to continue his mother (who was single at the time although his alcoholic father did help) simply said No & he at age 54 appreciates that…

    Millie Bobby Brown. I enjoyed her a lot on stranger things although it’s very clear she’s getting to big for her britches here. When they do interviews with the cast she’s the one to speak first and it seems like she tries hard to outshine the other kids. It’s all about her. Lately it’s her bragging about talking to Drake and telling him that she misses him. At the MTV music awards or whichever show it was she was nearly unrecognizable and was dressed way to much like an adult.

    In 5 years I think she’ll be in JLaw territory: overexposed and a little bit out of favor with the public. I do think she’s a good actress so she’ll bounce back but I guarantee she is going to become irritating at some point. Especially if—or rather when—she joins the SJW crew.

    Millie Bobby Brown. In 5 Years she’s going to be irrelevant. At 14 she already looks like she’s in her hard 20’s and her parents have such a bad rep that I doubt many casting directors want to take her on because of the drama they’ll cause.

      Drew Barrymore at best. I feel so bad for Millie. She’s very talented, but she’s still so young and needs boundaries not encouragement. 14 yr olds can be wild given any leeway, I would know!
