His Meeting Buddy

[Blind Gossip] This young movie actor is in recovery.

While it’s great that he is taking steps to stay healthy, there is one part of his recovery process that completely surprised us!

He has been showing up to meetings with another famous actor.

And you are not going to believe who it is!

He is much older than our young actor. More importantly, he has been known in the past to completely violate the position of trust that young actors placed in him. Time is definitely up on this slimy “mentor.” He’s in big trouble.

We don’t know exactly how or why these two are together. We don’t know if Younger sees Older as his ride or his buddy or his mentor or his sponsor. Whatever the case, this is a very odd pairing.

People in recovery need to be supported, but out of all the recovering actors in Hollywood, why him?

    Older: Kevin Spacey. Trouble with young male actors, and his character in Swimming with Sharks was named Buddy.

    Trying to look like he’s on the right track.

    I’d say Timothee Chalamet and Johnny Depp but I doubt Johnny is in recovery or will ever be.

    Kevin Spacey maybe??? He’s the only actor I can think of who’s been under fire for being an unorthodox “mentor”. James Franco also comes to mind, but he seems to like female actors, not male.

    Younger Actor: Timothée Chalamet (popular guess in the related blind).

    Older Actor: James Franco. Previous blinds allude to his sketchy/disgusting “acting classes”/”mentoring;” he’s 41 years old while Timothée Chalamet is 23 (“he is much older than our young actor”); “why him?” – Franco was in the movie “Why Him.”

    [Optional] Why do you think the Older Actor is doing this? I don’t know, maybe he has something nasty in mind… ormaybe he is genuinely gentle with the boy, who knows.

    Optional: Lotta guys go to 12 step AA or Al Anon meetings to meet women who are messed up and do not understand proper boundaries. It’s quite possible that Franco is hoping to find a new group of messed up women to (allegedly) grope, etc.

      I’m surprised that more people have not guessed Charlie Sheen for “Older”. I’ve never heard rumours of James Franco having substance abuse issues (which doesn’t mean that he hasn’t/doesn’t), but I thought this blind was implying that “Older” was known to be a sexual predator and as having (past and/or present) substance abuse issues.

      As in the related item, Timothée Chalamet is still my guess for Younger.

    Franco might be trying to get ahead of his upcoming s* storm of negative press and karma. Or he might be trying to hook up with Timothee… js, there have been gay rumors about both gents before.
    Hope Timothee gets well, he’s talented and doesn’t need anything from James Franco at this point.

    Older: James Franco? My guess maybe way off as I’m not sure if “violating his position with younger actors” is with females or males, since Franco is known for females.

    Maybe he’s doing this because no matter how much he’s tried to get into the graces of Hollywood, he hasn’t been able to. I think that boils down to the fact that he probably wasn’t liked any way. Timothy seems to be Hollywood’s darling.
    Can’t wait to see the guesses!!!!

      This was my same thought and I don’t know why. I love Ansel Elgort so I hope this is wrong
