Gift Shopping At TJ Maxx

[Blind Gossip] A young girl was gift shopping at TJ Maxx.

She was looking at price tags and debating among several items when a woman nearby asked her if she needed some help.

I struck up a conversation with her and she told me that she was buying a present for her mom, that she had $21 to spend, and that she wanted something “really good.” I told her she could get a very nice gift for $21. I asked her if she got the money for her birthday, and she said no, she had earned it doing chores. She gets paid $1 if she makes her bed every day during the week, etc. Sweet girl, very well-mannered.

You’ve got to love a child who does chores and is well-behaved!

Then her mom came around the corner and I was totally shocked to see who it was. The girl said, “Mom! Go away! I want you to be surprised!” Her mom shielded her eyes and said, “OK! OK! I’m not looking!” and walked away.

It was a famous Hollywood actress, known for her starring roles in many hit movies!

She is married to another performer. She is easily worth tens of millions of dollars.

Nice to know that her child/ren are being raised to be polite… to shop in normal stores… and to work for their money!

    Just read somewhere that Melissa McCarthy was seen Christmas shopping with a daughter at a Hollywood discount retailer.
    My material gift would be for Brad & Angie to finally divorce and successfully co-parent their brood.

    Pink? She is more famous for her music than the movies she has been ine. That might rule her out. I get from interviews that she wants her daughter to have a strong sense of self and good values.

    Pens. That is what I want for Christmas. I never have them when I need them. I don’t have to have a gold tipped Mont Blanc. Take the promotional ones from banks and businesses,I don’t care. I just want a giant box of INK PENS.

      Omg! Thank you for calling them INK PENS! I’m America and my husband is not. Maybe it’s a Midwestern thing but I call them ink pens and he calls them pens… he’s like what other type of pens are there? I said FELT and really isn’t that full of ink too? I really hope all a giant box of ink pens finds its way to you, maybe flown in on a unicorn or by baby Jesus in a Santa hat.

    Amy Adams? Her daughter is the right age and her husband, though not well known, has acting credits. She also seems genuinely normal and unspoiled given her success and wealth.

Look at the Naturalizer Émilien multi-coloured slide on Nordstrom.com. I appreciate that it looks black/silver. It’s not. It’s a fun holiday pink. I’m wearing them right now!

    I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this was Amy Adams, married to Darren Le Gallo, also an actor. They have a daughter about 8 years old. I sat next to her on a cross country flight and she was the most genuine person and a very attentive mom. I could tell she was hands on and her daughter, about 3 or 4 at the time, was the most well behaved child I’ve seen on many flights. Much credit to Darren, who must handle a lot of the parenting with Amy on set so much. Great job, Dad!
