Classic Birthday Party

[Blind Gossip] Did you enjoy going to birthday parties as a kid?

Cake and ice cream and balloons are classic.

Depending on where you grew up and how old you are, perhaps there was a bouncy house. Or a petting zoo. Or a clown hired to entertain everyone.

Maybe there was a pinata. Perhaps someone went through the Birthday Spanking Machine.

You might have played games like Musical Chairs or Pin The Tail On The Donkey. Perhaps you held a Scavenger Hunt. 

Birthdays as an adult are different.

There are still balloons and cake.

But there is probably alcohol, too.

And when your guests start drinking, you just never know what is going to come out of their mouths!

A few people got a little too drunk and started taking bets on whether [The Birthday Boy] would make it to 27.

Uh oh.

27 Club is definitely not a classic party game!

Sounds like some of those party guests need to go through The Spanking Machine!

    Even in the UK with it being ostensibly free it’s hard to get due to restrictions on who qualifies as ill enough for therapy. He needs to stop self medicating (on top of other meds?) with drink and drugs, and go somewhere to deal with his trauma. He’s not been quiet about his dad’s tragic death (he was a firefighter on 9/11) but I don’t think he’s dealt with the emotions involved. As a defence mechanism we often bottle up the harder feelings.

    It’s sad that the words “male” and “taking bets on whether the birthday boy would make it to 27” were enough to direct me to Pete Davidson. That boy is such a mess!

    I get that Pete Davidson makes jokes about himself. He has mental health issues. Yeah, I’m aware of the drugs. That just makes it even worse. Joking about the 27 club isn’t funny. Ever. I have 2 adult children with bipolar. I live in fear of that phone call. And my oldest recently turned 26. IT ISN’T FUNNY!

      It really isn’t. My mental health was a lot more stable in my 27th year but I still had it in the back of my mind constantly.

    Definitely Pete Davidson, who turned 26 this past weekend. I’m not sure he’ll make it either, tbh. I hope he does. Mental illness and addiction are both terribly hard to fight.

    Pete Davidson turned 26 on 11/16.
    He was accompanied to his birthday party/SNL after-party by his most recent girlfriend …. 18 year old Kaia Gerber.

    People are so hard on Pete Davidson. Does anyone understand that he’s hard on himself. That boy is funny and tortured. Sounds like he needs some new goddamn friends.

      All he has are thirsty opportunists and enablers.

      I like that he’s on SNL though. The veterans there have seen too many young lives self destruct and I bet they’re a supportive bunch.

    Pete davidson just turned 26. 27 could be a stretch for him and unfortunately he was prob the one making the ‘joke’. And how much drinking is going on when your ‘girlfriend’ is 18.

    HBD Pete Davidson, who just turned 26 on the 16th! My firs guess was Aaron Carter and second was Biebs. I have such a difficult time keeping up with all these dysfunctional people.

    My BD is December 20th, and I get gypped every single year.

    There seems to be nothing sweet about Pete… he’s kinda toxic, as are the substances he’s taking. Tic toc…
    My dad owned a funeral home, and my birthday is exactly one week before Halloween, so my folks threw a Halloween themed party for my 7th birthday. Some guests were driven in a hearse and the funeral home was transformed into a haunted house. Hide and seek was particularly memorable, I hid in a display casket and was the last one found 😜

    Pete Davidson turned 26 this weekend. He’s joked about the 27 club himself…that’s his sense of humor. I hope that he gets healthy this year, I have a soft spot for him.

    And what on earth is the spanking machine?!?

      Spanking machine is when people line up and you bend down and duck between their legs as they spank your butt. It’s all in fun and no hard hits, hopefully.
