[Blind Gossip] This celebrity was in a whole lot of trouble.
They went up the river for a while but are now back home.
While you would think that life must now be great for them… they actually have a whole ‘nother problem to deal with!
Dependency.
You see, they have developed a dependency on pills.
No, not pain killers. The kind of pills we are talking about are used to treat anxiety or insomnia.
We don’t know how or when the dependency started. It might have been a problem before they went in, or it might have been something that they were prescribed behind bars. We just don’t know.
In any case, it is now a serious problem. Serious enough that they need rehab.
Given all that they have been through, though, we can’t imagine them wanting to leave home right now to go to an inpatient rehab facility.
Perhaps outpatient treatment at home?

[Optional] If it was you, would you do inpatient or outpatient? Hmmm, I won’t presume to make any assumptions about either treatment being better but I feel like inpatient might not be as safe while we’re in the middle of a pandemic, although it probably would be more effective in regards to helping people kick their addiction.

Sorry, my answer should have said Lori Loughlin (the laugh part was probably an unconscious emote from my opinion about her).

Aunt Becky
A long time ago, Olivia claimed people wanted to get close to her because of ‘who’ her ‘parents are..’
Since Aunt Becky isn’t Martha Stewart type of rich/recognizable/bankable, her post prison life will probably be different w many staying away from them . Aunt Becky should do inpatient because it’s doubtful she will be able to deal w her new reality without being medicated.

Lori Laughlin just got out of prison, so I’ll go with her. Also, she seemed to be suffering from major anxiety issues once she realized she might go to prison.
Optnl: If it were me, I’d do whichever method was the most successful for others, as I surely wouldn’t want to ever have to go back and do it again.

Oh gosh, that sounds like Lori Loughlin. That’s really sad.
Dependence is a nasty beast. If it’s bad enough, you have to do inpatient to reset your mind and body. I really do hope she gets the help she needs. Some massive therapy (both for her dependence and her lack of self-awareness) may do her good. I wish her well. Unless this story is all a part of a manufactured redemption arc she’ll be shilling to get back in to the world’s good graces. Oye.

Lori Loughlin. Inpatient is the only way to truly kick a problem. Outpatient allows for too much temptation to use again if the addiction is really that bad.

I’ve never experienced addiction, so I’m no expert, but it seems like inpatient is the better choice.
Shananigans says
Addiction to benzodiazepines must be medically supervised. Inpatient is the only option. If she tried to withdraw on her own, she would risk seizures. The addiction was most likely there before the jail sentence which is why they would allow the drugs while she was incarcerated. She will be hating life for the next two weeks in rehab-she might wish she was back in jail.

Aunt Becky? I want to feel sorry for but just can’t. You shouldn’t have bribed your daughters’ way into college. You shouldn’t have doubled down when caught. You should have taken an early plea bargain and shown humility rather than defiance. You probably would have done a week or two like Felicity and gotten your punishment done quickly.

I would do inpatient to make sure I nip it in the bud. I also blame the doctors treating her, because I bet they prescribed her the hard stuff right away instead of starting with mild medication.

I’m not sure who this is but I’ve been a physician in a jail and no controlled substances were allowed. Maybe it was just the jail I worked at bu I’m wondering if whoever it was got it from other prisoners. There were a lot of substances being passed around.
PerryMason1978 says
As the other doctor wrote above, narcotics are RARELY prescribed or dispensed to inmates in CA jails— unless it involves a hospitalization (at which time the assigned dr prescribes).
