[Blind Gossip] This very beautiful actress from a long-running hit TV series was at The Golden Globe Awards with her actor husband.

Given how handsome he is, you would think that she would spend the evening by his side.

She was actually spending time with a different man.

No, it’s not what you think! She was busy taking her adult son around the room.

Was she trying to set him up with one of the many pretty young actresses who were there?

No. She was trying to set him up with a job!

She was dragging her son around from exec to exec telling them they ought to cast him in their next project.

Unfortunately, talent doesn’t seem to run in the family.

I was talking with a group of people including a producer who told us that she had seen the kid audition in the last year or so. She said he was a good-looking boy but had no acting talent. Zero. She said he was one of the worst actors she had ever seen.

Well, that’s not good!

She also said that [Zero] gets a lot of courtesy auditions based on who his mom is but apparently no one will test him more than once.

By the way, Zero is probably pushing thirty at this point, so it’s unclear how much longer Mommy can drag him around trying to “break” him into the business!

    What long running RV show did she do?
    Also , yes she is pretty, but given how many gorgeous women are in LA Idk if BG would refer to her as “very beautiful”.

    It has to be Sofia Vergara.

    I thought this might be Rita Wilson and Chet Hanks at first (just because he’s so annoying and has a very entitled vibe about him) but a lot of the details don’t match.

      Their other son, Truman Theodore Hanks, could work though, as he hasn’t been able to capture a role per IMDB. Chet has managed to get some roles.

    She has a son named Manolo. I know he has appeared in some shampoo commercials with her, but that’s about it in terms of acting roles.

    Manolo Vergara, Sophia’s 27 yr old son. Gwenneth Paltrow would never have had a career without her parents. She’s not the worst, but if her parents were civilians she would’ve never been given a meeting by Weinstein, and she’d been told she had to get a boob job, and would be relegated to Lifetime movies. And certainly no one would be fooled that she knows a darn thing about “wellness”.

    Sofía Vergara of Modern Family, wife of Joe Mangeiello. Dragging around that grown son she does the dandruff shampoo commercials with. Like the Wilis, Brinkley & Gerber kids, most of the time the talent doesn’t translate down to the next generation. They look good, but got nothing going on but their parents hopes.

He’s pretty wooden even in those and I am an ex-commercial agent saying that. He can barely handle the little dialogue he has, so a REAL audition is going to blow him down!
