[Blind Gossip] This pretty TV lady is engaged to be married. Congratulations!

Her fiance is not famous, but he does have money. Good thing, too.

She she was getting worried that she might never be really rich. She thinks of herself as being upper upper class, but it’s hard to pull off that luxury lifestyle if you don’t have the money to back it up.

It’s not like she doesn’t have a job. She does have that TV gig. It’s just that the salary from her job isn’t apparently the kind of rich she had in mind.

Speaking of the TV show, there is a decision to be made about her costars and her wedding.

She actually doesn’t like them much.

Uh, oh, That’s not good.

Plus she knows that they’ve been talking behind her back and saying that she is almost too old to get married.

Meow!

She’s not dumb, though. She knows that it would look bad if she didn’t invite them to the wedding. Plus she knows she will definitely get a lot more publicity if she does invite them.

There are a lot of characters in that pack of people, so it would be worth it for the publicity alone.

If the wedding is highlighted on the show and is extravagant enough, she should get plenty of coverage… and pat herself on the back as someone who can bring publicity to the show for everyone’s benefit.

    TV Lady: not sure and i disagree w/Hoda guesses (he’s only worth 6 mil more than her so that makes them both fairly equal especially as she has a secured contract and he’s an adviser which can change at anytime)

    [Optional] Whoever it is, if they want to use the show to gain points and can handle the backstabbers then yes use it if you can, otherwise, heck no!

    About time! She’s been trying to get him to propose for several years now. Since she’s over 40 I’m sure she wants kids too.

    [Optional] Should she invite all of her costars to the wedding? No. i don’t think she is really friends with any of them- they all said last year that Scott was financing her lifestyle. I like Tinsley, she’s nice, but kind of immature and not equipped to deal with life.

    Ah, I see that Cynthia Bailey is getting remarried. And perhaps ANY suitor would seem rich to her after her disastrous marriage to grifter/ professional club owner/club loser Peter Thomas.

    Should she invite all of her costars to the wedding? No, definitely not Nene Leakes. That’s just asking for trouble! Or being a major masochist.

      I change my vote to Tinsley Mortimer, who is marrying Scott Cluth, founder of CouponCabin & is worth $20 million. I am not sure that’ll make her upper upper class, as inflation has really stunted the value of a dollar, but at least beginning to medium upper class. I wouldn’t bother asking a single one of them, especially not ex RH Bethany Frankel, who will find a way to make it all about herself, but I suppose she’ll have to invite them if she plans on continuing to hold that gig.

    That’s interesting because Jenna Bush Hager seems like she would be pretty fun and easy to get along with. I don’t know who else is on that show. So either they are both really good actors or they are the opposite outside the show? Anyway, it doesn’t really get richer and more upper class than the Bush family. Just saying…

    Of course she will invite them, regardless of whether or not she should–that’s the best way to guarantee lots of screen time, which is what she’s really after.

    This is Hoda Kotbe. Given her and Joel’s ages probably best she does something low key and elegant. No need to have these clowns at NBC at her wedding.

    She should only invite the people she wants to be there and are genuinely happy for her. She is in a good enough position in her career where she doesn’t have to kiss any of their butts.

    Hoda Kotb I got married very young so maybe I am a little biased but the way she was going on about the engagement – I can see why her costars are talking.

    I like her but I agree she is probably not making much money- wouldn’t be surprised if it is less than Al Roker. Ouch. I can also see her trying to secure her future – I am sure they told her about Katie Lee long before they fired Katie.

    Wow…Hoda sounds pretty shallow. When your “exposure” is worth more than the sentiment behind the ceremony, you are a shallow person.

    If the wedding is important at all to her, she’d only invite friends and family. No where is it written that you must invite co-workers…especially if you don’t like them.

    Well, the whole thing casts Hoda in a bad light.
