Family Feud Vacation And Competition

[Blind Gossip] When one of two celebrity families that traditionally vacation together suddenly decide to skip the gathering, you have to ask why.

Well, we found out that it is definitely not for the reason that is being given in public!

This has nothing to do with children being too young to travel.

OK, then, what does it have to do with?

There was an argument over one specific date. It was planned out for months that the focus of the day would be on [First Family] and the back to school photo.

[Second Family] decided that was the day they wanted to promote their own [venture], thus effectively splitting the media attention.

Oh, brother. Couldn’t [Second Family] simply have picked another date?

Absolutely, and therein lies the problem. [Second Family] behaves as if this is all a competition. They hoped that their photo would wind up atop the news and get more attention than the school photo.

What does all of this have to do with the vacation?

[The two families] had a row about it weeks ago and [Second family] were effectively dis-invited. No matter. The entire extended family thought it best for everyone not to have tension spoil a lovely holiday.

So, basically, Second Family is pretending that they were unable to go on the family vacation, but the truth is that they were unwelcome at the gathering.

It remains to be seen which family got more attention for the events in question.

    Team Kate forever. She has the poise and grace for royalty. Harry married his gold digger cause he likes ’em a little on the trashy side. Monarchies are stupid, but Kate fits the requirements list.

    I’ve never been a fan of Meghan Markle and it has nothing to do with race. I have a problem with social climbers. Ms. Markle is a minor American actress who realized that she had very little talent, not enough to ever break on to the A list. I think she wanted to be the next Diana. I think she knew how much Harry missed his mother, and she purposefully tried to fill that role in his life. Sad that he and William are distant. I always loved how they were there for each other.

    Can’t say how this will turn out but I feel for Harry. He seems like he had some vulnerabilities due to losing his mom so early in life.

    I also feel for Meghan in a way. She comes across as someone who overly wants acceptance likely due to some early childhood issues which unfortunately attracts this negative attention. Also likely causes her to be controlling as well and insecure. Really sad. I feel for both of them.

    This is most certainly the British Royal feud again. Markle was going to launch her fashion project around this time, wasn’t she? She’s probaly going to do this now at Fashion Week in NY as the news she’s flying to the US just leaked. Like always she wants as much media attention as possible, even if it means compeating with a 4 year old girl, her husband’s niece… Such a narcissist and hypocrite.

Imagine being so petty you want to compete against that to announce some dumb venture that literally could be announced any day of the year? This is sad and pathetic and if they loved their niece, they would want every camera and news story to be about her and her big day.

    I find it to be very similar to how Diana and Charles treated each other in the lead up to their divorce. Public face is civil but lots of backstabbing going on behind the scenes.

    Second Family: Prince Harry & Meghan Markle (Duke and Duchess of Sussex).     The conflict was over Princess Charlotte’s first day at school and the launch of Meghan’s clothing line.

    This is actually silly. The press can report more than one story at a time. I’m not sure why people are determined to pit Catherine and Meghan against each other.

    In any case, Catherine will come out the victor. There’s something about Meghan that makes people dislike her. Can’t quite put my finger on it.

      Omg it has nothing to do with her race!! I used to like her, but she keeps doing the opposite of whatever would make the public like her more. I could list dozens of specific examples of why I think she’s awful, but Blind Gossip limits the number of characters in the comments. None of them have to do with her race. Most of them have to do with her having dumb media frenzy baby showers that were complete unnecessary.

      I’m an Asian and in the minority so I don’t speak from bigotry. When I first heard Harry was engaged to a half black actress I was like good! so I tuned into their interview. I’ve got a strong intuition and this is what my gut read on her.

      Meghan came across as dominant and had her hand on his upper arm. She projects a lot and comes across as “fake” unfortunately. Red flags also include her treatment of her family. My family has serious problems but I don’t cut them out like she has.

Princess Charlotte’s first day at school was yesterday, I’m not sure what the Sussexes we’re «promoting » but there’s a suspiciously timed hit piece on her about to air on 60 Minutes Australia.

      The bigotry comments are insane. I watched Suits and really liked her. I thought it was great that Harry was marrying someone who was black and bringing them into the royal family, and I watched the royal wedding. But Meghan has ignored the advice of everyone around her and keeps doing things that make the public hate her more and more. Her whole NYC baby shower was in such bad taste. She just gets worse and worse every day.

      Agreed! The Superficial Sussexes need to move to South Africa. The high profile PR and “branding” is beneath the monarchy, and MEHGAN brought that to the marriage. So very, very tacky.
