The Vulgar Boyfriend

[Blind Gossip] She was a star on one of the biggest TV series ever.

She has had an interesting dating history, including whispers of how close she was to one of her troubled male costars.

However, we’re going to tell you why she broke up with her last boyfriend.

He is the son of two Hollywood actors, and has a career of his own as a director.

They broke up earlier this year.

Why?

Two reasons.

He cheated on her.

And she did not appreciate his sense of humor.

He is incredibly vulgar and immature. He likes to talk about women’s vaginas and tell r*pe jokes. He thinks it’s funny.

That is quite a contrast to our actress, who has frequently made statements about women’s empowerment and how her role on the show made her even more of a feminist.

Although the couple only dated for a few months, we can’t believe they lasted even that long!

    No idea on the actors. Vulgar. She made a good choice. He is not father or husband material. Think long term and pick a good guy even if he is not rich or famous.

    Feels like Emilia Clarke infamous for her role and for supposedly sleeping with Kit Harrington but when I googled her exes I couldn’t fit someone who fit this bill. Seth McFarlane doesn’t have famous parents. And while I might totally get James Franco who also directs, are his parents famous?

    Emilia Clarke and Charlie McDowall. His behaviour is gross and can’t even be excused by youth – he’s old enough to know better! I think those kinds of comments are never acceptable but can be forgiven (within reason) in teenagers, as they are trying to be offensive and get a reaction and usually grow out of it. But in a grown man, hell nah!

    This isn’t funny or vulgar.; it’s wrong. Making “jokes” about rape, and trying to normalize and minimize misogyny isn’t comedic. Especially for an adult.

    I tend to believe men that make light of these atrocities, also commit them. And elect others that do as well.

      Thank you. This could not have been said any better. I am continually mystified and disheartened that men and women alike don’t see anything wrong with normalizing and accepting misogyny. In fact, it breaks my heart.

    No I certainly would not think it was funny!

    I have no idea of who this actress or her ex is. But I hope next time she’ll step back and evaluate if the guy is even dating material much less bf material. No one should be subjected to humiliation. But bravo for letting go!

      I’ll never understand American’s dating classification system. Is there a difference between the guy you’re ‘dating’ and a ‘boyfriend’? And if they’re not the same thing WHEN does a date get moved to the bf category? Here (Australia) it’s simple: there’s no dating (we don’t use that term). We’re either ‘just mates’ (platonic) or ‘bf & gf’ (meaning you’re intimate/romanticly involved). Of course it’s not always ‘simple’ as posed in theory 😏🤷🏻‍♀️

    Optional: Depends if it was funny or not. After hearing a Jimmy Carr set where he was telling jokes that got closer and closer to crossing the line of good taste I can say honestly that if it’s funny I will laugh.
