[Blind Gossip] We were the first to tell you that this actor from a popular TV series was cheating on his wife with a famous actress.

When the story broke that the actor and actress were indeed having an affair, there was a lot of outrage over his behavior, and that worried him.

The outrage wasn’t about his having committed adultery. It was over the fact that he left his black wife for a white woman!

Sigh.

He and his wife divorced. He and the actress eventually broke up. He now has a new leading lady.

He doesn’t want to risk his fan base again. That’s why he’s not dating any more white women.

His new girlfriend is black, with a side helping of zero outrage.

    I don’t think that people was upset because he was dating a white women. People were upset that he was cheating on his wife so publicly, while pretending to be this living family man. He has to small kids . You owe it to them to at least try .

      He seems chill. And I’m over the whole racist thing. Everybody needs to treat everybody nice. If you’re being a craphead because of someone’s color, then you’re a racist.       It has nothing to do with being racist. It’s black women’s reactions to the sector of black men who say they don’t want black women and that white women are superior. We are not talking about “love who you love” here. It’s about being specifically rejected by our own and put down–annoyance with this black male mindset, not racism against whites.

      Dizzygirl, it’s because he sat there at the BET awards talking about how black women are poorly treated and that we need to support and love them. He literally got up and left the black wife who supported him financially and emotionally for 14 years while pursued his acting career (while it was going nowhere). He got a lot of support for that speech from the back community just to turn around and leave his wife for Minka Kelly. Pretty hypocritical.
