Shine The Light On All The Bad Actors

[Blind Gossip] If you are a boy bander and you behave badly, your management normally quashes it in the press to maintain the group’s wholesome image.

In this case, though, it’s the opposite!

The sex scandals were handled badly and dragged out over many months, so they are dealing with the drug scandals in a faster and more organized way. They will publicly humiliate a few of the boys and get them to turn on the others so they can get them all charged/fired quickly.

So rather than hiding or lying about the bad behavior, the goal is apparently to shine the light on all the bad actors as fast as possible, replace the ones that are still members of active groups, and have everyone who is left sign more stringent personal conduct contracts to ensure wholesome behavior in the future.

This is more to protect the health of the entire industry than it is about the health of any one boy.

If you bragged about chicken in this country, you would be going down!

    Seungris trafficking and other “alleged” behaviours. It’s not a sex scandal, he *allegedly eye roll* trafficked women and children, helped facilitate filming of snuff films and spread footage of unconscious women being assaulted.
    They have already tried to drag his former band mates for their past “bad behavior”, smoking weed, even though T. O. P. already served time extra in the military and did community service for it.

    The bad actors so far Seungri, Jung Joon Young, Yoochun, Choi Jong Hoon
    Not to mention, YG Entertainment headed by Yang Hyun-Suk was caught destroying documents and computers ahead of the police investigation and are under currently under investigation, plus there are rumors that the agency is a uses prostitution and media play to fake success/popularity for its artists, bilking the public & investors out of money.

      I think the chicken reference was related to One Dimension when their group toured South America and copiously partook of the Columbian Marching Powder and other illicit substances. They referred to the c*ke as “having chicken”. It was a few years ago.

    ooh easy! Country: South Korea. This one is all about the burning sun case where multiple idols and other celebrities have been part of a drug, prositution and rape deals. Kinda crazy to think that you can get very few years in jail for rape but drugs will promise you at least a decade behind bars. SK needs to reavaluate it’s priorities. This all very disgusting!

    I think for a long time there was this thinking that the whole k pop industry was Soo moralistic and wholesome. Could never be like scandalous Hollywood. Now I think that the veil is finally being lifted and people are seeing the truth. Doesn’t matter your nationality or how “moralistic” you seem to be, yes money and fame corrupt absolutely.

    Some band that I have never heard of. I remember reading something about bad behavior by a group whose name I had not heard.

    I had a David Cassidy poster. He’s the closest person to a boy bander in my younger days. I don’t actually remember any boy bands …well, maybe the Osmond Brothers and the Jackson Five.

    This is about YG entertainment in south korea trying to fix the mess that exploded after Seungri’s scandal. I wonder who they r going to fire next 😓.

    They have it easier because on K pop seems to be more about the bands than about the members of the bands, so all are replaceable
