Not As Happy As Bruce Willis

[Blind Gossip] Several years ago, actor Bruce Willis  wore a Donald Trump-style wig on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon as a joke.

While Willis has handled going bald with relative ease, not all actors have been so accepting of their hair loss.

This over-50 actor has always been known for his handsome face and his thick, lustrous hair.

It might not be obvious to you that the aging process has robbed him of the latter.

As soon as his hair started going, he did scalp treatments and Rogaine. Now he uses hairpieces. He used to do just a toupee, but now it’s a full wig.

Imagine your hair being one of your best features and then it’s gone? That’s got to sting!

    No favorite film of his, but I did enjoy his acting in Wild at Heart.

    Patrick Dempsey.
    Sting might be from shots since he played a doctor.
    He’s 52 and most of the clues fit.
    Not really a fan of his movies so far, no favorite.

    Ted Danson! His hair was the best! He always wore a beanie toupee to cover his bald spot! Now he is losing the rest, which is typical. His forehead is huge and doesn’t help (due to a face lift?).

    Hmmm…Alec Baldwin was fine back in the day. Nice head of hair too. He now plays Trump on SNL.

    I guess Robert Redford because of the sting clue maybe? But as he is 82 it seems unlikely that he’s still that vain.

    I narrowed it down to two. Either Robert Downey Jr. or Tom Hanks . Young Tom’s was the fullest so I am going to guess him ! My favorite Movie of his is Big ! I was a Movie Theater Mgr at the time and I watched it one afternoon for free. After it was over , I said I have got to see this again & I did a few days later ! My Gosh where has the time gone ? It does seem like it was yesterday when I first viewed it .

    …a movie RR directed in the 1980s REALLY helped me to deal with lthe sudden loss of my older brother, my only sibling, in 1989 when I had just graduated from high school; we were as close as a brother & sister could be. In the movie, the surviving only sibling falls in love with a girl that I share the same very unique name with (at least it was a rare at the time as I’ve only known 2 others in my lifetime).

    My VERY private 77yr old mother has only ever admitted to having a crush on…

    Robert Redford? (Although, he’s 32 yrs older than a 50 yr old so maybe that’s too old for this blind; I guessed it because he starred in the movie, The Sting, with Paul Newman, another handsome actor but he died in 2008 & he was balding for sometime without hiding it.)

    My favorite movie of his would have to be The Natural, as it also was one of my deceased husband’s favorites & I really appreciated that he introduced it to me & we watched it often. Ordinary People…

    Travolta was my first guess, his hair has been a mess for years…
    Based on the word choice of ‘sting’, I’m leaning more towards Robert Redford (was in movie The Sting).

    Actor: Robert Redford. The coloring in the hair/beard in the Willis picture is super similar to how he’s looked lately.

    Hmmm…I was going to say Brad Pitt but the related blind makes me think Alex Baldwin because he plays Trump on SNL. I know “that’s got to sting” is a clue but I’m not putting it together.

    Clooney? Jeff Bridges? Piers Brosnan? I have no idea, but Al Pacino looks like he’s wearing a wig and he’s always had pretty hair. We all know that Travolta wears wigs.

    Clues Robbed, sting – refer to Ocean’s movies; photo in previous blind; plus it just looks like a hair piece or wig to me. The hair line is super regular and thick all over, it simply seems unlikely for a man his age.

    Favourite movie, not sure maybe Oh Brother, or Ought of Sight. Haven’t seen that many.

    Based on the “sting” clue, I’ll guess Robert Redford–though he’s not just over 50, but over 80, so my second guess would be Alec Baldwin.

    My hair used to be quite beautiful but menopause did a number on it while also giving me a nice turkey gobbler. Not fun.

    Handsome faces and thick, lustrous hair makes me think of Sam Elliot and Kurt Russell.

    Was trying to find a tie-in with the “That’s gotta sting” comment – Elliot was in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, but neither were in The Sting.

    Then I realized that Russell played Ego in Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

    Ego, based (at least in part) on that full head of beautiful hair, now losing it all?

    Yeah… that’s gotta sting…

      Ugh! I didn’t even think about the most obvious choice – Robert Redford, but I think he’s had WAY TOO MUCH sun over the years. Been a long time since I really thought of him as handsome…

    Favorite Movie: The way we were, Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid, The Sting….too many

    Had such a crush on him even though at the time he was decades older than me. Don’t blame him for trying to hang on that to that part of his youth…. women do it all the time. But he does need a better wig.

    I was actually thinking George Clooney before I even clicked on the related blind.

    Ocean’s Eleven, he and Brad Pitt are both really cute in that one. I also really like Up In the Air with Vera Farmiga and Anna Kendrick.

    Thought at first it was Robert Redford (starred in The Sting,) but believe it’s about Ben Affleck again, as you can plainly see he wears a toupee or wig, whereas Redford’s hair is thin and dyed a bad color for him, not what you’d expect from a good wig. “Sting” can be a reference to the punches thrown by Batman (they sting!)

    Optional: haven’t seen any of them.

      This! Just looked at photos of Redford from the last few years, and it really makes sense. I couldn’t fit any other actors with the “sting” reference, so Redford it is.
