[Blind Gossip] This singer and actor have been dating a while now.

She is ready to move on to the next step of their relationship!

She asked him to move in with her.

    Alwyn lived with his parents till last summer, but he’s 27. I assume he wants to have his own place and enjoy the feeling for his own space for than a few months before moving in with someone again. I assume she wants a building w/ more security & luxury than his, but if she’s serious about him she’ll understand and respect why he’s in no rush to move in. And the data doesn’t differentiate people who already plan to marry from those who are just dating when they move in. Big difference.

    I liked Katy Perry until she was a judge on Idol. Quite unlikeable. Hopefully she’s nicer to those close to her.

    I think living together beforehand is a good idea, so that you know each other’s habits in advanced and you know if you want to be with them for the rest of your life. I can understand Orlando not wanting to have her move in, because he does have a kid. He still has to be a dad…

    I think couples have the same chance of getting to the altar, but studies show that couples who live together before marriage are more likely to divorce.

      Katy Perry for sure. You have to feel sorry for this woman. Good looks, filthy rich and some measure of “talent” yet she cannot get a man to commit to her. Sad

    Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry? I don’t think they’ll get married. I don’t see her as a very stable (or particularly nice) person and he has a child.

    Taylor loves the idea of being in love and still has a little girl’s view of romanticised love. Her bf is a struggling actor. It takes a strong man to take on a powerful, wealthy superstar as a wife and be ok with it for the sake of his own ego and masculinity. Maybe he wants to wait until he feels he can bring more into the marriage than just the idea of being known as ‘the boy Taylor Swift is currently dating’.

    Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry. I read somewhere that she’s considering moving to London to be near him.

    I specifically did not live with my (second) husband prior to marriage and we’ve been very happily married for six years. I wanted more alone time with my then teenage daughter so she’d know she was my priority. And I wanted to set a good example for her all around.

    More likely but depends on the maturity and age. Couples that live together young are more likely to break up (aka not marry) and move on than those who start cohabitation after they have had multiple relationships and are more selective and discerning about who they live with.

    Most research studies show that if you move in together before marrying, your marriage is likely to not last as long. The results surprised me but I suppose it does make sense.

      Yes, I’ve read those studies too. I find them very interesting…and pretty accurate from my unscientific observations.

    This is Taylor Swift and Joe Nobody, a PR relationship and the contract is ending. So she is seeding the story that he won’t commit. The sad thing is I believe Taylor really does want a real relationship & marriage, but doesn’t know to escape her own narrative. She strikes me as very lonely.

    Depends. A lot gets revealed when you live with someone, good and bad. Personally, I’d want to live with someone first before I could honestly commit to “for better or worse.”
