The Flying Family

[Blind Gossip] Here’s an interesting tidbit about a lead movie actor who went through an ugly divorce a few years ago!

He and his ex-wife have a child/children. After they got divorced, we lost track of who had primary custody or if they shared equal custody. We would just see an occasional photo of him with the child/ren and assumed that the custody arrangement was working and everybody had recovered from the hurt caused by that nasty divorce.

Well, we just found out something surprising. The child/ren don’t live with EITHER parent!

[The child/ren actually live] with his sister, about 300 miles away. He flies in all the time to spend quality time. One out of every four or five times he flies [the child/ren] down to LA to hang out with him there. Despite the distance, he is a very loving and dedicated parent.

We recall our actor making a rather a big production about how he wanted lots of children, so the fact that the child/ren now don’t live with him OR his ex-wife is odd. Then again, since the relationship between the parents was strange from the very beginning, maybe we shouldn’t be surprised about any of this!

    I don’t know who it is, however, toms kids are grown up now, and the blind says a nasty divorce a few years ago, while I am unsure if brad and angies divorce is yet final it is still only recent and clearly documented regularly how Angie has custody and brad has supervised visits as the custody battle is still on going.

    Kids make life messy at times. You have to decide to live with your kids or not have kids.

    Brad Pitt. Sister Julie has adopted two Ethiopian kids, so perhaps this means the rainbow family will be looked after better.
    What’s going on? Court found that Angelina and Brad are both unfit to be parents (one’s addicted to her* in, the other a full-on alcoholic, potentially recoveting) and decided it is in the children’s best interest to have a quiet, stable life away from either parent. Sounds great, hope it’s true.

      I thought this too but I think his sister lives in Missouri or Midwest somewhere…. hmmm!

      It’s extremely unusual for a court to award custody to a non-parent.

      Either the parents have crazy issues, or they agree to this.

      This is definitely NOT Brad and Angelina.

      Yes she is crazy and addicted to drugs but she is a good mother and wouldn’t let anyone raise her kids. Would Brad? Yes, but her – NEVER.

      The blind also implies these people are already divorced. Technically, Brad and Angelina are still going through the divorce process.

      The clues throw you off – “flying family” and 300 miles away

      I’m thinking maybe not so much, the daughter is married and lives in London. His son has a regular show gig in Vegas and possibly is on his own

    Thought this was Brad Pitt but not everything fits (e.g. why ex wife’s name isn’t asked)

      This ! He said in an interview that he’d like to have 8 kids.
      What is strange is that they are supposed to share custody and he forks over a gigantic amount of child support. Is that in lieu of hush money ?
      I always thought he was raising his daughter with his « roommate » Kristoffer Winters.

    What do I think’s going on? She is batshh crazy and he’s lived raising 8 other kids and is past that age in his life to want a full time parent role.

      Scientology says STAY close to the fold, indoctrinate kids. Doubt they’d think Cruise’s kids were better with anyone than him. Plus aren’t they actually both over 18 now?

    Jeremy Renner. The ex was essentially a surrogate and it was always intended that he would have primary or full custody. He’s probably realised he can’t be with the child as much as he wants so he’d prefer to have his sister looking after her instead of nannies.

    I’ll bet that both were nixed as primary custodians after that explosive fight on the plane. And if his kids are living with his sister, I think it’s for the best for them.

    I originally thought Tom Cruise but his adopted kids are both adults and there’s no way Suri doesn’t live with her mother.

    So then I thought Brad Pitt but I don’t believe that they live with his sister because Angelina wouldn’t allow that.

    Waiting to see everyone else’s guesses because I’m stumped.

    Brad and Angie, I think they both have addiction issues, so neither get them. That is a lot of kids to look after for anyone. Probably no one wanted them all together. I bet they are a handful with not much socialization or structure. Brad’s sister Julie has them until the parents can heal.

    I’ve seen Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise a lot in New York City (where they both live) so I assume she lives with her mother. The other two–how old are they?

      Connor and Isabella are in their mid-20s, they probably live on their own by now. Plus isn’t one of them getting married? I can’t be them.

    Jeremy Renner? That whole relationship was super shady, it was rumored she was looking for a green card / 18-year meal ticket, and he was looking for a beard. How incredibly sad if neither parent actually wants to raise the kid.

    I think everyone knew they weren’t with Nicole, and I’m pretty sure I read something years ago where Isabella said that they loved their father but loved living with their grandma. When Isabella married did either parent attend???

    [Optional] What do you think is going on? I think both he and Angie are a lost cause. They only trot those kids out for photo opportunities. Once they grow up, I’m sure one of the kids will write a book that will blow everyone away with what they have seen. I feel its going to be way worse than imagined.

      Ohhh, this is a great guess. He tried to come off all innocent and he is basically a man-*. As for her, she’s busy with “all things her.” I bet he’s the one that visits the kid/s all the time but doesn’t want them living with him so he can sleaze around.

      I hope it’s not him. He seems like a nice guy and I wish him all the best . And, if it is, at least he’s putting the childs needs first by securing the childs upbringing. The mother probably can’t be trusted .

      Not them, they’re not divorced yet. The kids have been seen a lot in England with their Mom. Angie would never allow Brads family to have the kids. I think Jeremy Renner is spot on
