The Monster Got Fired

[Blind Gossip] We’ve been telling you about this monstrous producer for years.

What Harvey Weinstein was to actors, this monster was to minor actors.

We’ve also been waiting for years for the childish network with which he is closely affiliated to take action against him for his chronic, inappropriate behavior with young actors and actresses.

That time is finally here!

If he was only producing one show, it would have been an fast, easy call. However, he’s got creative and financial interests in multiple projects. They had to unentangle him from all those projects. The network knows that they are in trouble, though. Not sure how much letting him go will lessen their liability. Everybody knew. EVERYBODY.

Basically, he’s been fired with severance.

By the way, our use of the word “inappropriate” is not meant to downplay the severity of the producer’s behavior. His behavior was horrific. We are simply mindful of the fact that there are multiple minor children involved.

It’s going to be up to the children and their families to decide if and when they want to tell their individual stories, and what kind of legal action they want to take. The producer has dominated their careers and the network for many years, so it may take a while for his departure to sink in and for them to feel comfortable doing so.

The good news is that the monster is now gone. You can bet that many child actors and their parents are breathing a sigh of relief right about now.

Justice is next.

    Ok so you did follow up on Dan Schneider!
    I wonder when his victims will come out. I was molested as a kid by someone in the family, years ago. The trauma never fully goes away. I feel terrible for Schneider’s victims.

    I wish they would expose him. Instead of kids marching for their lives, Hollywood and politicians should march with them to save their innocence against these pedophiles. Make themselves really useful.

    A pedophile producing shows for kids, abusing minors and the network knew?! They ALL deserve to go down in flames. Every single last person at Nickelodeon. I don’t think people grasp the immensity of the world of liability and the sh*tstorm that is coming. This goes Federal and rightfully so.

    Dan Schneider!!! I’ve been waiting for this one to get out and it finally did. He got what he deserved. Hopefully all the people from his old shows will come out with their stories because I would really like to hear what that monster did. But if they choose to keep it private I respect that.

    Dan Schneider just (wth?) parted ways with Nickelodeon. Heard about him for years. I hope all the now grown up kids file criminal charges against him. The network should also be held class action accountable for letting it happen.

    You’d be Better Off Dead if you don’t know which Head of the ClASS this is.
    I hope the young actors do slam him with lawsuits and he winds up in prison, if not “handled” in other ways pretty soon.

    I know of another show on the network. One of the adults on it has been in business since 90s (Friend of FoF) and does not have any immediate ties I can find to DS and would hope he defends his TV “kids” as if they were his own from him!

    Nickelodeon just fired Dan Schneider. He had a lot of shows with them, and is credited with discovering such young actresses as Ariana Grande, Amanda Bynes, Jami Lynn Spears and Victoria Justice. He also had a horrible temper, and there where whispers of inappropriate behavior with some of the young stars. He would publish pictures of their toes on his social media(?!). I’m certain we’ll hear more in the next few weeks.

    Finally dan schneider.. there is about to be a huge storm. Justice reminds me of victoria justice maybe she is going to share a story? I hope what happens next is that he is publicly outed by former cast members/set workers and he has to live in the shame that was whispered by rumors for years

I imagine many of the powers that be at Nickelodeon will play innocent, but if it’s also true they all knew (this rumor about Schneider has been around for YEARS), I hope everyone is fired and publicly shamed. These were minors!! The truth will come out and I can only imagine the brave people who come forward about this.

    I’m honestly interested in how this affects Nickelodeon going forward. Something big is coming, which is probably why they finally decided to cut ties, but they may not emerge unscathed.
