Pregnancy Twist

[TV Line] This shocking pregnancy is sure to give fans pause.

And baby makes… WTF?!

Rumor has it a wildly popular, Emmy-winning series on a premium cable network is plotting a pregnancy twist that promises to be… surprising is an understatement. The plan — which, as always, is subject to change — is for the character’s baby bump to be unveiled when the show in question makes its anticipated return in (ugh) 2019.

Suffice it to say that the unlikely pregnancy will have more than a few implications, both dramatic and darkly comedic. Oh, and you’ll probably make an immediate assumption about the identity of the baby daddy. But you know what they say about people who assume, right? Don’t make me spell it out. OK, I’ll spell it out: They make an as out of su and me. (That’s not a clue, it’s just me putting a silly twist on a tired old joke.)

    Westworld is a possibility.

    Dolores is a host who, like other hosts, are showing more and more signs of evolving human characteristics. A pregnancy would be a crazy twist. And a big mind game.

    I don’t think Dany and Jamie have ever met? Nor do I think that Tyrionn would try to sleep with her…as far as good guys go, he’s as good a dude as there is and isn’t trying to sleep with her.

    If not John Snow, what about Jorah? It’s no secret he’s head over heals in love with her. Not a secret to Dany nor us the audience.

    This is either the obvious game of thrones OR I could see this being westworld.

    Would be a twist for the robots to get pregnant etc etc

    See, I feel like they shoved it in our faces that she didn’t know for a fact she was barren. Tyrion kept bringing up how she needed an heir and Jon told her she doesn’t know for a fact she is barren. I read it as more of a set up for this pregnancy. I don’t think they meant us to take it as she was actually barren, just that she thinks she is. But I don’t think this will be a huge surprise either way….it was seriously foreshadowed for a while now.

    Pregnant Character: I know everyone will probably say Daenarys/Khaleesi . But that’s a given, and if the show picks up where we left off she shouldn’t have a baby bump yet.

    [Optional] Good plot twist? Yes, although predictable. So will Sansa now want to claim the North.

    I am 100% sure (because of the 2019 date) is Game of Thrones. Daenerys Targaryen will be pregnant. We will assume John Snow as the mother. This will be interesting as Cersei says she is pregnant. Two pregnant Queens.

    I feel like this is the logical/probable guess except … everyone’s predicting it so I’m not sure how shocking it would be. The blind also suggests that the popular pick for baby daddy might not be accurate, which … not sure how that would work. It ALSO sounds like they may change their minds, which also doesn’t fit GoT. But GoT is all I’ve got.

      On second thought, it could also be a character from “Big Little Lies,” which is also popular, premium, Emmy-winning and returning in 2019. I think that would be far more surprising than Dany/Jon’s baby, which everyone and their mother is expecting at this point.

    JLD character in veep, coming back in 2019 because of her cancer treatment. Surprising because her character is in her 50s, darkly comedic because her daughter is a new mom i.e. JLD character’s daughter and grandaughter would be the same age

    Dany pregnant with her own niece/nephew once removed (or however that works…) by Jon Snow?
    Targaryens bred brother and sister for 300 years.

    Not thrilled with any of these possibilities…

    First I thought about Dany and Jon, but there’s no place for a plot twist there (I hope so!!!).
    So it’s about a pregnant Cersei…. everyone thinks it’s Jamie’s son but it’s Euron’s!!!!

    GoT…Daeny and Jon Snow? So the kid would be his cousin/child? Ew. Gross. I guess when/if they both die, it leaves a very strong case for their child to be heir to the throne. Still ew, though. Or maybe Sansa is knocked up with the sadistic freak’s kid? Who knows. I’m definitely thinking GoT because it doesn’t come back until 2019 and is by far HBO’s most successful show currently.

    My first thought was Khaleesi (sp?) but she can’t have a baby right?
    Is the use of the word ‘implication’ a hint? Imp? As in my favorite character, Tyrion? Hmmmmm

    Is this GOT and Danerys or however you spell it? I read a whole spoiler that she dies in childbirth, which will really irk me. All this and she just dies? So, if this is true then it looks like the whole spoiler is true, which totally stinks.

    Games of Thrones, Dany getting pregnant, Jon Snow being the father. Surprise because she’s supposed to be infertile, darkly funny because she’s technically his aunt. However, I don’t understand the baby daddy question part (I don’t see who else it could be) so this may be off the mark.

      Just adding that I remembered that Big Little Lies is coming back in 2019 too, and the photo reminds me much more of that. Not sure who would be the pregnant one, however. Maybe Madeline, since she was having the affair? It would help to raise the question as to who the baby daddy was.

    She seemed particularly interested in the climactic situation, which could’ve been very sharp intuition, or maybe even jealousy?

      I think you’re on to something. I thought her given the yoga pic. In the book, her interest was explained by the fact that her dad was abusive, but they didn’t explain that on the show. And she seemed more visibly upset after the incident than any of the others. I assumed it was because of her guilt, but maybe she has other reasons.

    this is definitely Game of Thrones, and Dany is the mother. I think the father is presumed to be Jon Snow, but the real father will be R’hllor, the Lord of Light. Since Jon was resurrected by him, it would make sense that Jon couldn’t actually father children.

      Sansa and Ramsey would be jarring. I hope it’s not the case. Somehow in the horrible world of GOT that would make a top 10 worst things to ever happen on the show. Sansa, Aria, and Brahm deserve a final season of just owning the North-not pregnancies by the most awful, violent, rapist men to ever be on the show!

LOL… I’m not being a wise guy lol, I’m just curious is this a typo, or some kind of joke I don’t know about? Cause, obviously, the expression is, “When you assume, you make an a*s of u and me.” See?
