[Sandra Rose] A few well-known rappers may well be concerned that they were exposed to a STD.

The rappers allegedly had sex (at different times) with a woman who is suing a well-known R&B singer for allegedly infecting her with herpes.

In court papers filed in Georgia last month, the woman, a R&B singer from New Orleans, revealed she tested positive for herpes.

Sources with knowledge of the case say the woman had sex with rappers Fabolous, Flo Rida, ASAP Rocky, and a few other Atlanta notables.

The woman, whose parents are prominent doctors in New Orleans, is reportedly living in an apartment in Atlanta.

BG Note: Just to be clear, a non-famous Female R&B Singer is suing a famous Male R&B Singer for infecting her. She is also believed to have had sex with several  famous rappers.

The Male R&B Singer being sued: Usher

It was a well-kept secret that singer Usher Raymond quietly settled a herpes lawsuit with a woman in Los Angeles in 2012. During discovery, they found that Usher knew that he had herpes as early as 2009 or 2010, yet infected the 2012 woman. Usher wound up paying the 2012 woman over $1 million.

That secret lawsuit was exposed when, in 2017, a woman in Atlanta claimed that Usher also gave her herpes. Atlanta woman said that she and Usher hooked up more than once. Usher did not tell her that he had herpes. The first time he used a condom. The second time, he did not.

The 2017 woman managed to secure the information from the 2012 case that proved that Usher knew that he had herpes simplex II (genital herpes). She used that information it to sue Usher for $20 million. They settled, and the case was dismissed.

Several other women then filed similar claims against Usher. Hookups… no condom… herpes… lawsuits.

All of those cases settled, but they took a toll on Usher’s marriage to his manager, Grace Miguel.

Usher and Grace are now getting divorced. From Us Weekly:

Usher Raymond and his wife, Grace Miguel, have called it quits after two years of marriage and nearly 10 years together, Us Weekly can exclusively reveal.

“After much thought and consideration we have mutually decided to separate as a couple,” Usher, 36, and Miguel, 48, said in a joint statement to Us on Tuesday, March 6.

“We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives. The enormous amount of love and respect that we have for each other will only increase as we move forward.”

A source tells Us that the pair, who quietly wed in September 2015, have been separated for a couple of months.

As previously reported, the “Yeah!” singer proposed to Miguel in January 2015. Later that year, the duo eloped and honeymooned in Cuba. They started dating in 2009 after Usher split from his first wife, Tameka Foster, with whom he shares 10-year-old son Usher Raymond V and 9-year-old son Naviyd Ely.

Blah, blah, blah. We can sum up this divorce for you in three words: Cheating. Herpes. Lawsuits.

    R&B Singer : Usher – It has been reported on several sites that he was being sued for giving a woman Herpes.

    What Do I Think Will Happen? – He will pay her off to keep silent and drop the suit… Just like most actors/singers do when they are sued.

    I doubt this is Usher because the gal who is suing him (Shaniquwa)…how do I say this…..is quite large and not that nice looking. The type of women the rappers like are young and pretty black girls so I don’t think this blind is referring to him. They also mention that the woman is an R&B singer herself, and I doubt that Shaniquaw is an R&B singer.

    It’s probably someone else like the the Atlanta people.

    Why someone would have unprotected sex with anyone now days confounds me.

    This is all about USHER. He has the “gift that keeps on giving” and
    has exposed EVERY person he’s slept with! This behavior is disgusting.

    Usher will be Sued,and probably go into bankruptcy that will end his career.

    What will happen? They’ll get tested and if they have it, hopefully they won’t repeat his d-bag behavior of sleeping with people without revealing it.
    And he’ll pay her off to make it go away (the lawsuit, not the herp, of course).

    But as a single person living in Atlanta its hard as hell to date when damn near everyone has HIV, Aids, Herpes and every other STD there is.

    Suggestion, stop having unprotected sex with multiple people, and then you won’t have to worry so much about getting and spreading sexual diseases.

    These herpes blinds baffle me. Why the heck are these women having unprotected sex? This is the 21st century, for crying out loud! STDs are so freaking common and it takes just one sexual encounter without a condom to catch herpes and a whole host of STDs.

      Using a condoms reduces the risk of catching herpes by vaginal or oral sex by 50%. They certainly are not foolproof.

    Is this more fallout from Usher?

    Optional: I think anyone that can will try and make a dime on this. But he only has himself to blame. Same goes for the other parties if they did not use condoms. Yes I know condoms aren’t fool proof but its something. Wrap it up!

      While condoms can and do reduce the rate of transmission of herpes they don’t prevent it entirely.

      Any form touching of any region that would basically be covered by boxer shorts including the inner thigh or performance of oral sex can transmit the virus.

      All of these people could have used protection and still ended up with herpes .. it’s this lack of knowledge that helps the virus spread combined with having casual sex with partners who history you don’t know. No judgment just…

    Optional] What do you think will happen? Although I find it hard to believe that Usher would sleep with her, (she doesn’t seem believable) I think they will settled out of court so he would not have to bring his entire sexual history into court.

    Too many players in the game. Ushers never admitting to it if he does have it obvi unless forced to. & Unless there is a way to test someones “strain” of the virus tying it to them? If so, how do you prove who had it first? Ooh this is just messy.Wrap it up! 2Minutes of pleasure not worth a lifetime of misery.

    Since she is promiscuous with men who are promiscuous, how can she be sure where she got it? I’m sure Usher’s lawyers will use that as a defense.

    The daughter of a doctor has unprotected sex with multiple partners? I can’t believe she has the nerve to sue. Maybe someone should sue her for spreading it.

    She’s lucky it’s not HIV.
