[Blind Gossip] Tom Brady is both shocked and annoyed about an NFL team that rejected him.
During an interview with HBO’s The Shop, Brady talked about the time he was a free agent.
Brady says that every NFL team was interested in him.
Except one.
The team initially expressed interest in him. However, in the end, they went with a different quarterback.
And Tom Brady is bitter about it!
TOM BRADY: There was a story… in free agency. They were interested [in me] and then all of a sudden they weren’t interested at the very end.
I was sitting there thinking, “You’re sticking with THAT motherf*cker?! Are you SERIOUS?!
HOST: Tom probably had no desire to go to that team, but now, it’s like, “Why don’t you want me?”
TOM BRADY: Absolutely! Now, looking back on it, I’m like, “There’s no f*king way I would have went to that team!” But they said they didn’t want ME!
I know what that means. I know what that feels like.
And I’m going to f*ck you up because of that!
Tom Brady was smiling when he said that.
Does he swear that much around his wife Gisele Bundchen and the kids?
Anyway, Brady isn’t letting go of this grudge against the team that rejected him and the quarterback who they picked over him.
Last night, during a SiriusXM Town Hall event with Jim Gray, Brady was still going off on the teams that passed on him during free agency.
I think what you realize is that there’s not as many smart people as you think. It’s just the reality.
They know who they are. It’s fine. Everyone has a choice to choose. I think what you realize is that there’s not as many smart people as you think. That’s just the reality.
I would think it would be a no-brainer if you said, “Hey, you’ve got a chance to get Wayne Gretzky on your team” or “You’ve got a chance to have Michael Jordan on your team” [and they said] “Oh, we don’t need him. No thanks. We’re good.”
Tom Brady is now 43 years old. He says that although his family wants him to retire, he plans to continue playing professional football for at least a couple more years.
Tom Brady played twenty seasons with the New England Patriots.
He became a free agent in 2020 and was picked up by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He won the Super Bowl for them in 2021.
Tom Brady has now won seven – yes, SEVEN – Super Bowls.
Brady recently revealed that he played with an injured knee during the 2020 season, so it will be interesting to see if he actually does have a couple of years of pro ball left in him.
So, which team do you think passed on him and went with a different motherf*cking quarterback?

Brady sits when he pees.
Go Bills!
AmericanTruth says
49rs and Garropolo. Brady is super threatened by that guy
jkurtz says
The Titans and Tannehill. I think many were surprised by the Titans decision.
moonshy says
The Panthers. A friend says the fans hate the Patriots. And if they’re in same conference, no wonder Brady says he’s going to f* them up since they play regularly each season.
caligrlth25 says
Either the NY Giants or the Chicago Bears
3rdWatch says
Team: Chicago Bears. Idiots wanted to stick with Mitch Trubisky
Tamtam says
It’s not The Bears. They were one of the few teams that beats The Bucs last year. They’re was no revenge tour that game.
MimiJohnson says
The SF 49ers – Jimmy G. His back up in New England.
YouKnowWhoo says
You leave our TB12 alone! We love him in CHAMPA BAY – back to back champs! SB55 Champs!!
Who passed on him? LA Chargers? He would not have played for NOLA unless Brees retired – they are good friends
Yes, he drops the f-bomb a lot – funny as he!!
GizmoD says
The Raiders
Derek Carr
I can’t stand Tom Brady.
Stefanie2530 says
Drew Brees
New Orleans
KarmaFlower says
Lol the Pittsburgh Steelers rejected him & stuck w 3 other QBs. The city would have had to go on lock down from the rioting. He would NEVER be welcome in Black & Gold. As for #1 & #2…they’re not in Pittsburgh and I love my hometown.
DaniJo says
I’m not sure who the team and quarterback are but this comment makes Tom Brady seem pretty arrogant.
2infinity says
My guess is the 49ers and I say good for the niners! Tom is arrogant!
The best QBs in the game today are Patrick Mahomes and Russell Wilson – not Tom!
Joe Montana will always be the best of the best to me, he never needed to cheat to win – like Tom.
Vampira says
According to the similar blind, it would be Green Bay? Poor Tommy’s not used to being rejected, it hurts his ego too much.
Top QBs: Mahomes and Rodgers
WhoDatGirl says
And yet Mahomes is who he beat in the Superbowl….just sayin…
Brownski says
New Orleans Saints
Drew Brees

I don’t follow NFL nor do I care about football, but my guess is Cincinnati. They had a first round draft pick last year. (I googled it).
Tom Brady would never be caught dead in Cincinnati. That’s just not a happening enough town for him and too far from some cultural epicenter. It’s a nice midwestern town but it’s not flashy. Tampa isn’t that flashy either but Miami is not that far by private jet.
witsense says
Washington Football Team.
omgimbackagain says
Green Bay, Aaron Rodgers — guessing just because I’m not a fan
Optional: Brady is the 🐐 GOAT
aaaStorm says
I’m going to say the Tennessee Titans and Ryan Tannehill
#1: Patrick Mahomes
#2: Tom Brady
uglystick says
Ego much? 🙄
aaaKidd says
Widely rumored to be the Bears. They passed on him, but he wouldn’t have wanted it anyway because he didn’t want to go to another cold weather team. Bears made a good strategic decision to pass — if they’d gone after him he would’ve turned them down AND they would’ve embarrassed/angered the quarterback they had (Trubisky.) All it would’ve accomplished was creating drama in the locker room.
EL 444 says
Ty for explaining that. Some ppl can’t see the big picture and ridicule the Bears for it.
sandiego13 says
Team: Chargers
Who are the #1 & #2 QB’s in the NFL today? Don’t care, don’t watch. Same with MLB and NBA. The whole not standing for the flag was the end of many Americans (myself included) love affair with professional sports.
aaaDucky says
I am going to guess Green Bay and Aaron? Also Aaron in top 2, Patrick Mahomes is also.
Sassymom says
Oh please Tom….get over yourself. Yeah, he’s good..but even the mighty must fall.
llabine1 says
San Francisco 49’ers…..
cawatt says
Arsenal?
ZedsDead says
With the Aaron Rogers link I guess it’s the Packers, but I’d like to think the Saints told him to take a hike too.
I have no idea who the best QBs are right now. I haven’t really paid attention in a few years. Maybe Mahomes is one of them?
aaadinky says
Bears and Trubisky
silence1534 says
I think this is the 49ers and Jimmy Garappolo.
Jimmy sat behind Brady with the Patriots for years, and hasn’t really lived up to expectations. Their decision to stay with him might have riled Brady up, specifically if he sees him as his protege.
montebell says
Don’t know who passed on him, but I’ll bet they’ve regretted it ever since. I’m not a fan of his, but he is a talented qb. I’m sure he spews the f word regularly. He’s an athlete, not a saint. Plenty of good qb’s: Mahomes, Watson, Rodgers, Allen. Brady’s ego can’t accept the fact that a team passed on his greatness.
