The Finger Pointing Is Not Over

[Blind Gossip] This former couple consists of two celebrities.

He is a movie star.

She is an actress who does both TV and films.

Their marriage was awful and messy, with nasty accusations flying on both sides. It’s not over, either.

There are still more accusations to come.

Usually, when something like this happens, careers suffer. Producers may side with one or the other, or everyone decides that the both of them are just more trouble than they are worth.

Here’s the strange part.

When they were in the middle of the worst of this and pointing bloody fingers at each other, studios backed away from him and there were some discussions as to whether or not hiring her would be problematic.

You can scratch all that.

Although he might have lost a role or two, they are currently both back to full schedules!

Memories are short. The horror of it all has faded away. Now it’s about whether or not they can help a studio make money and what the insurance would cost for him.

He lost one franchise but is still part of another franchise. He also has a ton of other projects in development and is still doing his music gigs on the side.

She has a TV series and another installment in a different successful franchise coming up.

It’s the darndest thing. The finger pointing is definitely not over – and their beef with each other may have had people divided – yet they are both back to work and getting cast in big projects.

Good thing for him, too. He desperately needs the money!

    Who to believe? Since Depp had a rep as a drunk that wrecked hotel rooms yrs ago I assumed she was telling the truth. But the emails and recordings dont seem to support it. In fact he seems to have tried to avoid escalating violence she initiated by leaving the room or apartment. She admits to her own violence but doesn’t think it’s a big deal only that he leaves. She never accuses him of violence only neglect. He owns his nasty words about the film with Franco & admits he has to change

    Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. Amber got a role in an upcoming TV series, while Depp was fired from Pirates of the Carribbean but is doing another “Fantastic Beasts” movie.

    I never really believed Heard, and thought it spoke volumes after all Depp’s exes supported him since that pattern of behavior is not usually limited to one relationship.     I believe her. She probably was also violent, but he has a long history of violence and destruction. It may not show in every relationship, but the wrong woman makes him explode.

    I was always a fan of his & have been a huge fan of her’s since The Rum Diary came out. I think that this was a very toxic relationship & that they brought out the worst in one another. I think Johnny needs to drop his defamation lawsuit against her, it’s not going to help him in the end. He needs a lot of therapy to try to get over her that he doesn’t seem to have gotten. Sad situation all the way around.

    The bloody finger clue gave it away, part of Johnny’s finger was cut off during an explosive argument. And I believe Johnny after the damning evidence from those audio clips were leaked. She clearly admits to being the physical abuser. Amber Heard is a manipulative, abusive, narcissistic person, and it’s really sickening.

    Optional: JD; one of many reasons but this was has always bothered me – besides using him as a stepping stone for fame/status while he was obviously in Love with her at one time (though, he should never have left VP for her), I never liked the way she screwed him over immediately – literally the day after – after his beloved mother passed who resided with the both of them. I don’t care if his mother wasn’t too fond of AH or not, she could have left before many times.

    Johnny and Amber. Honestly I believe both of them and I don’t understand why everyone thinks there has to be one bad guy in all this. Sometimes TWO horrible people get together and victimize EACH OTHER. That’s EXACTLY what happened here.

      Well said. Obviously the hatred for each other is driving them nuts. Should just admit it was a huge mistake and quit blaming their marriage for everything that’s wrong with their lives.
