[Blind Gossip] Let’s talk about two celebrities.

One of them is a singer. The other is an actress.

Both of them started working professionally when they were still children. Both ran into problems as adults.

You may be wondering how much latitude they have now when it comes to controlling their own lives.

Although they are both adults, they can’t do some things that most other adults can legally do. For example, they can’t make any big financial decisions on their own. Nor can they enter into serious contractual agreements.

Could either of them buy a car or house? Not without approval of The Person In Charge!

Could they give a million dollars away? Not without the approval of The Person In Charge!

Could they get married? Not without the approval of The Person In Charge!

Singer knows all this and is currently stable and compliant with the rules.

On the other hand, Actress is not stable… and is looking for a way to get around the rules!

All that she wants to get married. In fact, she could even try to get married. She could hop a bus to Las Vegas tomorrow and have someone perform the ceremony there.

So you might be thinking that the actress’ parents are very worried about her getting married.

No.

Their biggest concern is not about her being married. That can’t legally happen without their permission and a judge signing off on it. If it does happen, they can undo that.

What they are more worried about is her being pregnant. That is much harder to undo.

Yikes! Let’s hope her parents are able to stabilize the situation very soon!

While Britney Spears may be chafing at the bit for her conservatorship to end, she is currently stable and under a doctor’s care.

Therefore, we are going to “leave Britney alone.”

Let’s focus on the bigger story.

Amanda Bynes just announced that she is PREGNANT!

A quick recap: Bynes met a guy in rehab a couple of months ago. They got engaged three weeks later.

Bynes tattooed two hearts on her face and began wearing a nose ring.

Then the couple broke up.

Then they appeared to be together again.

Now Bynes has announced that she is pregnant.

As your friends at Blind Gossip told you a month ago, this is the exact situation her parents were really worried about!

While every other media outlet was focused on Bynes getting engaged – and possibly married – we found out that her parents’ bigger fear was that Amanda might get pregnant by the guy she just met!

You see, a Bynes engagement or marriage would have been a temporary problem. Her parents would have gone to a judge and had the marriage legally dissolved.

However, if Amanda got pregnant, that would be a permanent problem.

The recent facial tattoos and nose rings signaled that something was amiss. As we’ve told you in the past, Amanda Bynes changes her appearance when she is not well (see The Real Me Is Fine).

She might have gotten sober in rehab, but she certainly was not mentally well.

There are two parts to this story.

The first is her pregnancy announcement.

The second is a statement from her attorney.

Amanda Bynes said on Instagram she is pregnant.

The 33-year-old mother-to-be announced in a since-deleted post on Tuesday that she is expecting her first child.

The post contained a picture of an ultrasound with her name on it.

“Baby on board!” said the caption.

Although the post was quickly deleted, here is a capture of the sonogram:

Back to the story.

A source confirmed the news, saying “Amanda is just barely pregnant and she is very happy.”

The news of Bynes’ pregnancy comes after a brief split from fiancé Paul Michael.

News of their break up broke earlier this month, but just a day after, Bynes shared a photo of herself and Michael’s cuddled up.

And since Bynes has a tendency to delete things, here is a screen grab of that post:

The caption said, “My love,” with a heart emoji.

The split occurred just three weeks after the announcement of their engagement, and rumors started buzzing when Bynes removed all photos of Michael from her Instagram page.

Bynes announced her engagement to Michael on Valentine’s Day.

After the pregnancy post was removed, Bynes’ attorney made a statement.

…On Monday night both Paul Michael, 28, and Amanda Bynes announced on Instagram that they were expecting their first child together in posts that have since been deleted from their accounts.

Now, Bynes’ lawyer David Esquibias is asking for privacy on behalf of his client, who he says “is seeking treatment for ongoing mental health issues.”

“Any reports that Amanda is suffering from drug or alcohol addiction issues are completely false,” continues Esquibias in a statement…

We do not have any more information either as to the veracity or timeline of Byne’s pregnancy.

    I’ll probably get raked over the coals for this but I don’t think Amanda needs a baby. You can tell by looking at the pics she posts that she is not okay. Who’s going to take care of the child? She can’t take care of herself.

    having a family member w/schizophrenia, i understand… they are so lonely and frustrated they can’t find a romantic partner who isn’t scared of away by their illness, if they met someone who wasn’t, it wouldn’t surprise me if they’d marry them, even if it wasn’t the best choice. The “free Britney” types have zero clue what it means to have severe mental illness. Bynes family’s seems to have done everything they can. Best wishes to them.

    My older brother is the conservator for my younger brother and has been for decades – would not wish it on my worst enemy.

    It is extremely difficult to control an adult, especially if they don’t think they need a o be controlled.

    She seems unstable again. Makes me sad for her. They probably won’t be together long. I really hope she doesn’t get pregnant. She needs to focus on herself.

      It’s Britney Spears & Amanda Bynes.
      I am glad to hear that Britney is finally stabilized. Good! But Amanda? One look at her face & you can tell all’s not well. She looks angry and off. Pregnant is a real worry as Amanda can’ look after herself, let alone a kid, & her parents must have their hands full with her, plus they’d have to worry about the child possibly having mental health issues.

    Actress is Amanda Bynes who recently claimed she is engaged, posting pics of an ugly engagement ring (who do all celebs go for huge tacky rings?) and also has a fairly new face tat.

    Because nothing says stability and good mental health like a face tat, right?

    I feel like Brit has accepted that she needs to be on her meds but Amanda has not. If she doesn’t start taking care of herself, I don’t see her alive in two years. Very sad situation.

    It may be a case of when you know, you know, but for someone emotionally fragile, it could be too fast. And the ring she’s sporting, if real, looks insanely costly….always thought she had a lot of talent and wish the best for her, though it seems the odds of that are tenuous.
